It was medicine for Serena in a small needle. Without hesitation I put it in her arm.
"Now we gotta wait for it to work." I said.
"At least some odds are in our favour." Luke replied. We all were still very hungry.

Next day the storm stopped and we were free to leave.
"How are you feeling?" Daphne asked to Serena.
"Good, just hungry." She answered.
"Should we keep moving?" Luke said.
"Yeah, let's go."
I made sure that Serena doesn't fall while getting up but she was okay. We all began to walk to the force filed but it was very slow since we are were starving.
"Someone is here." Daphne said when she heard steps.
We all were prepared and saw Gabriel from 1. However he was much more energised than us and stated throwing knives. I managed to avoid the hits and Daphne shot an arrow which landed in his chest.
"Let's see if he has anything!" Luke rushed to Gabriel's body.
We searched his pockets (he didn't have a backpack) but found only night vision goggles.
"Better this then nothing." Luke mumbled.
"They're great, they will help me a lot." Serena said.

When the night began we saw Liam from 11 with a small fire. He wasn't bothering anyone and probably wouldn't attack us. But we saw something very important to us.

Huge amounts of food.

I can't blame for what Luke later did. After seeing the food he stabbed Liam through the head.
"Why did you do that? He didn't do anything." I said.
"He has food!" Luke replied.
We all gathered and never felt happier. Warm chicken, fresh buns, nuts, tomato soup and huge amounts of water.
"Let's share the soup." Serena pulled out five bowls that Liam had and we all ate the soup.
This was the best meal I ever had.

Next day we continued to walk around the arena. We had food and later got sent some beef. Finally we weren't starving.

Everything was okay but it stopped on the day 10.

"We're near." Serena said, it was good news.
"I can hear something." I said as I heard some suspicious noise.
It got us alarmed and we all looked around.
"No!" I heard Serena followed by Isaac scream.

Isaac had a trident in his chest.
I was speechless and tears run through my cheeks.
"Here she is!" Daphne spotted Bianca from 4 sitting on the tree.
Daphne shot an arrow at Bianca's leg which made her fell down from the tree. But Bianca did gave up and as I wanted to take her supplies, with all her strength she hit me in the head.

Soon, everything went black.

I woke up and I was carried by Luke. I was suprised that he was strong enough to carry me. My head hurted but I tried to get my thoughts together.
"You're awake." Luke said.
"What happened?"
"Bianca hit you in the head right before Daphne killed her."
So it was true, Isaac is dead. I noticed how depressed Serena was, I wonder how she took it.
"You can put me down, I'm fine." I told him.
When he did that I started shaking on my legs for a bit but it quickly stopped.
"How long it had been?" I asked.
"One day." Daphne replied.
"We're here."

The force filed.
We arrived and Serena started taking out her things.
"Watch my back." She commanded.
We all were watching if anyone is coming, her work took quite long and it started getting dark.
"Give me my glasses."
We handed her night vision goggles as she asked.

And then it happened.

A shiny light went out from whatever Serena just made. We heard screams and then three canons.

The careers were dead.

"We did it! We actually did it!" I said happily.
"Unbelievable!" Luke replied.
"Guys?" Daphne was worried.
We turned around and saw Serena's almost burned body. She must have gotten electrocuted while making the trap.
"Serena!" I yelled and sat down next to her.
"Good job, team." She whispered and her eyes closed.

A canon sounded.

I don't know for how long I cried. We all cried. Our leader and friend was dead. Her face was shown on the sky with the careers. Serena was smart, I wonder if she knew that she was going to get electrocuted. I have always seen her as the victor.

"It's over." Daphne said.
"The games are still happening." Luke pointed out.
"Not for me." Daphne took out an arrow and pointed at her heart.
"Daphne, stop!" I shouted.
"Goodbye everyone."
When she fell her arrows rolled down. I took one of it and promised myself to keep it as a reminder of her.
"I think, we should break the alliance." Luke said.
"Why?"
"It soon will he over, I don't want to end up turning my back on you."
It made sense, I wouldn't want to end up winning or dieing as a traitor ethier. Despite, there three tributes left.
"Alright."

We shared the supplies so both of us has the same amount and went separate ways.

I went asleep, under a tree. I didn't care if someone will kill me.

I slept for too long. Because when I woke up, it was day 14. I don't know how I managed to sleep through the entire day. But what got me awaken was a canon.
Who did it belonged to? Luke or Sebastian from 4? Whoever it is, I will have to fight them. I took Daphne's arrow and was determined to win.

"Florence!" I heard Luke's voice.
Why?
I we ended our alliance so we don't have to kill eachother but here we are.
"Luke!" I let him know where am I, I want to end this.

He was bleeding heavily from his head but threw the spear in my direction. I managed to avoid and fell into the snow.
I broke his wooden spear so he doesn't have a weapon.
"Florence, let me end this."
"You gotta try harder." I smirked.
He put his hands around my neck, too bad for him he isn't that strong. I pushed him off to the snow, he then realized that I will kill him with my arrow.
"I'm sorry." He said.

I put an arrow in his heart.

I broke into tears, I killed him. But I had no choice.

"Florence Terson from District 9 is the victor of 275th Hunger Games and the 11th Quarter Quel!"

Florence lived in Victory Village with her mother. She decided to meet with Luke's family and later married his brother.
