On the second day only one person died who wasn't Jose but a boy from 10. It made Daphne very relieved.

We were walking to the edge of arena. We had a long way to go, I started getting used to walking in the snow. Finding careers was one of our main goals but it was very hard.
"Hey, Daphne." I started.
"Yes?"
"You can hunt?"
"People or animals?"
"Animals."
"Yes."
"Maybe you could hunt the raindres so we can eat it."
"Walking around with a reindeer will be very hard, don't think?" Serena said.
"Yeah, right."
Serena was pretty intelligent for her age, I wonder if all District 3 kids are like that?
I suddenly notice how Isaac started whispering something to Serena. She then told him that it will be okay.
I wonder what they were talking about, Isaac looks like someone who can be stressed but why didn't he asked out loud?
"They were here." Serena spotted a throwing knife in a tree.
"It's probably from tomorrow when they killed that boy." Luke added.
"Probably they will go hunt here later."
"So we should just wait for them here?" Daphne questioned.
"We will stay here for the night, one person will keep watch."

We then set a camp in that place and stayed for the night. During the night we didn't hear anything or saw any faces on the sky.

In the morning I was awakened by Luke's voice.
"Someone is coming!" He said.
"Isaac and Florence hide, we will take them." Serena told us.
Me and Isaac couldn't fight so us hiding made sense. Isaac immediately ran to my arms while we were hiding behind trees. I don't remember when was the last time that I hugged a child. 
  Heaven from 1 came, she was alone which gave us advantage.
"Remember, we don't kill her. Just put the chip and run." Serena remained.
Daphne shot an arrow at her leg, Luke then took a chip and started pretending like he wants to fight Heaven. He put the chip on her jacket, before she even got to realize what's going on.
"Run!" Daphne yelled.
We all ran away and made sure that Heaven doesn't go after us. She couldn't do it even if she wanted.
"We did it." Luke said after we stopped running.
"One career done, five left." Serena replied.
"We should do it faster. Maybe let's leave District 4 tributes and take just 2 and 1?" Daphne suggested.
"Yeah, we can assume that they're not that important." I answered.
Serena thought for a second, she was very focused, that decision could kill us or makes us survive.
"You're right, let's do that way." She said.

We then kept moving through the arena. Serena tried to figure out where the careers could be but with no big luck. Daphne was still worried about her friend, this boy didn't have much chance of surviving on his own.
At the end of the day no canons sounded, that was good but it also made me worried that the gamemakers will do something.

Another day came and we kept moving. We assumed that the careers go to the hunting separated, it was kinda good for us because we didn't want to deal with all of them at once.
"We don't have to worry about water as long as we have snow but we gotta find some food." Daphne said.
"True, I was thinking about those raindres." Serena replied.
"We could cut them into pieces." I suggested.
"Yeah, let's do that." She answered.
Daphne killed a reindeer with an arrow, we cut it and ate some. I don't remember when I last ate meat. To be honest in District 9 we don't eat meat a lot, we mostly eat bread or plants. Meat is something that we have for special occasions, me and my mother used to eat it after every reaping.
"I think this will be enough for five people." Daphne said after we put meat in our backpacks.
"The raindres are everywhere, so we can hunt them any time." Luke added.

We continued travelling and noticed Regina from 2 fighting with Nadia from 6.
"She's distracted, let's go." Without hesitation Luke went to Regina.
"Luke, wait!" Serena tried to stop but with no luck.
I was scared that Luke won't make it out but luckily he didn't managed to put a chip on Regina without her noticing that he was here.
After we ran away, Serena seemed to be very mad at Luke for not listening to her.
"You could've been killed! You have to be more careful!" Serena told him.
"But I'm fine now."
"But what if she noticed you? You can't walk up to her without a plan."
"I did the job and somehow you're ungrateful." He rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, just don't do it ever again." She walked away.

An uncomfortable was between us for next minutes. We heard Nadia's canon, poor girl didn't stand any chance. While she was dieing she had paint on her face, she probably wanted to camouflage herself.
The cold was getting more intense that we stopped earlier to light up a fire. The gamemakers did it to make tributes die from freezing, it worked because we heard a canon.
"Alright, who is keeping a turn first?"
"I will." Daphne volunteered.
We all went to sleep but I was kinda anxious. What if Luke will hurt Serena? He could kill her easily. From past games it's easy to know that small fights can be a reason to murder.
My sleep was interrupted by the fallen tributes, this time however we saw what we didn't want to see.

The dead tributes were: Nadia from 6 and Jose from 12.
