Eren's POV

It was a normal day, I went to class, sassed some teachers, relaxed with my friends at lunch and getting ready for lunchtime soccer practice.

Everything was coming up Eren, but that Horse just had to ruin it!

Right now I'm sitting in front of the principal and my soccer coach with bloody knuckles, a busted lip and an ice pack on my head.

"Yeager we've been over this, you need to learn to control yourself!" Principal Eyebrows, as we call him, exclaims rubbing his temple in annoyance.

"Its not my fault he got all in my face." I muttered but he still heard and was about to yell at me until the school nurse/counselor Ms. Zoe walks in with medical supplies.

"Sorry to interrupted but I need to patch up Eren." The principal nods and she gets to work on my knuckles.

"How is Jean doing?" Coach Pixel asks in concerned, I mean why wouldn't he be? That Horse is his star player.

"He is worse shape than Eren that's for sure, luckily nothing to serious." Coach Pixel sighs in relief at the news. I honestly could care less about that Horse, he gives those majestic animals a bad name.

"Okay, Eren do you remember what happened? Like what Jean said or did?" I shook my head no and Ms. Zoe sighed in response and stood up to walk next to the principal.

"You don't remember anything, nothing at all?" The principal says staring into my soul.

"I remember him saying something about my parents but that's about it." I say crossing my arms and leaning back in my chair.

Ms. Zoe started writing something down and then turned to the principal who looked done with my bullshit already.

"Eren I'm sorry but at this rate we'll have to pull you out of soccer." Principal Eyebrows say making my eyes widen.

"What?!"

"I don't wanna hear it!"

"I don't think that's a good idea Erwin." Ms. Zoe says, at least she's sticking up for me. "Sports is the best way for him to express his anger without hurting others."

"Tell that to the kid from the Garrison who pushed Eren during half time and got the snot beaten out of him." Principal Eyebrows say as I lowered my head to hide my smile. Hey the kid asked for it.

"Okay but give him a chance Erwin." Ms. Zoe says giving him puppy eyes.

"Fine, he has three strikes. After the third he's done with soccer and this school. Any objection?" Principal Eyebrows says raising one the caterpillars on his forehead.

"Deal!"

"I see no problem with it."

"Eren?" Coach Pixel says looking at me.

"Sure, whatever."

With that I was dismissed and was allowed to go to class.

Timeskip

"Yes! The weekend!"

"Later Eren."

"See you later."

"Bye guys!" I exclaimed as I ran out of the school. I have to get ready for tonight or else my superiors will kill me.

Once I reached a good distance away from the school, I started walking. Today was stressful I hate blacking out like that, I can't even remember what he said. He said something about my parents, I blacked out and next thing I know I'm getting pinned down by five teachers and Jean was a bloody mess on the floor. I looked at my knuckles which were wrapped in gauze.

"I need to get my emotions under control, or else it might get me killed one day." I mutter under my breath.

Before I knew it I was outside my broken down apartment building. I entered ignoring the drunks, prostitutes and crackheads as I made my way up the stairs. I went into my apartment flopping onto the couch, it's not the best apartment but it's my only option.

After a few minutes of relaxing on this uncomfortable couch I got up to get dressed for tonight. I walked into my bedroom and I almost jumped onto my bed which was the only comfortable piece of furniture in this apartment.

But if I did there is no way I'll get up until tomorrow afternoon. Grabbing my uniform for the night, which was a black dress shirt and red skirt with gold markings. Along with black legging and brown combat boots.

Once I was dressed I quickly stuffed one of my many silver daggers inside of my boots for safe keeping. I was contemplating if i should take my sword or my gun but lately there havent been many serious missions so I decided against it.

Walking over to my closet, I opened it revealing a red hood with my family symbol on it.

It was my mother's, she was the greatest hunter out there...Until she died on the job. I stared at the pair of wings on the back of the hood, she always told me these were the wings of freedom and that this hood was pasted down from generation to generation.

But it seems the generation ends here cause I'm a dude plus I'm gay so kids aren't coming to take it like... Ever.

As I put the hood on I felt a sense of peace, like my mom's arms were wrapped around my shoulders.

"Hey little red! You ready yet?!" And there's my ride.

I quickly put my hood over my head and jumped out my bedroom window into the back of the building where Horse stood waiting outside a very fancy car. Nobody in the hunter business knows anyone's real name or face, it's all code names, masks and hoods. I'm called Red Riding Hood, cause of the red hood plus I specialize in werewolves.

Horse here is called Horse cause he wears a horse mask, and deals with half human half horse creatures.

"Let's go horseface." I say getting into the passanger seat. Horse clicks his tongue before getting into the driver seat. He seems more annoyed than usual today and he's covered in bruises.

"Okay, what pissed you off today?" I say as he started the car.

"Tch, just got my ass beat today by a friend of mine, I swear it's like he was an animal or something." He says pulling out before he speed off down the road, I quickly put my seatbelt on before I answered.

"Ha! Nothing new so what's up?" I ask as he spedsdown the street, I forgot how much of a crazy driver this man was when he's upset.

"Once, just once I want to kick his ass but no matter what I do he wins!" Suddenly the car sped up, is he trying to get us killed?!

"Well first off, slow down." The car suddenly slowed down significantly once I said that. "Secondly if he fights like an animal, you fight like a beast. Don't hold back, that's your problem. It's always been your problem."

"Hmm, you know what your right, I'll remember that. Come on we're here." He says pulling into a parking lot.

Once he parked we both made out way into a large building and into a backroom which led to a secret elevator to very top floor. I hate this thing though, actually I hate elevators in general.

The human race just can't stop making death traps it seems. We entered the elevator in comfortable silence excited for what mission we'll have today. The elevator doors open to reveal hundreds of people with hoods and masks armed with weapons walking around.

Horse and I walked over to the receptionists who is wearing a green hood. We call her the Mad Scientist cause before she started working at the reception, the amount of dangerous experiments she did was insane.

"Good evening, I'm guessing you here for your assignments?" She said in happy tone.

"Yep, Horse and Red Riding Hood." Horse says trying to get this done quickly.

"Okay... Horse, Horse." She says shuffling through papers. "Ah! Here we go. You have to catch an half human half bull that's been spotted at local park and bring it back here for containment."

"Okay, later little red." He says walking back to the elevator.

"You Red, have to catch a Neko that's been stealing from shops around town. It's most likely a stray trying to survive so just bring it back here and we can get it situated in the Neko Sanctuary." Great, a baby mission.

Nekos will be the death of me, they are demons to catch. They remind me of a cat in an anime I watched when I was young.

"Fine, where is it now?" I say annoyed.

"According to our sources, it's near the Cursed Forest. Usually I wouldn't tell you to go near it, but if needed you have permission to enter." She says smiling, I nod and turn to leave.

"What?!"

"The Cursed Forest?!"

"Don't go there! There's creatures who are hiding in the dark!"

Many members shouted out, warning me. But I ignored them and started to make my way out.

"Oh, and Red." I stop in my tracks turn around to face her." Never mind, just... Watch your back while your near that place."

I nod before continuing on my way to complete my mission.

Time skip

The Cursed Forest stood before me, it doesn't look cursed. The way the moon light shines down through the trees, it looks enchanted. But looks can be deceiving.

"Watch your back.."

I click my tongue in annoyance, she doesn't know what I'm capable off! Why should I listen to her?! It's just a stupid forest, I just need to catch that Neko and I'm practically done!

Suddenly I hear a rustling in the bushes inside the forest. I look into the forest to see a white tail swaying back and forth. I smirked, there's my target.

Without a second thought I entered the forest, leaves crunching under my feet. The Neko lifts it head up at the sound and looks me dead in the eye before running off deeper into the forest.

"It's just a stupid forest, what could go wrong." With that I ran after it.

Little did I know, a lot could go wrong actually.
