"Summer," Janet whispered.

"Summer." Trin sang glancing at me.

"Shut up! This is not high school musical!" Ivan yelled and Mr. Bald glared his way. "Oops," he said and we laughed.

"Summer," Traci said nudging me while smirking.

I flushed nodding. "Yep, summer," I said giving him a weak smile.

Skipper, that's my name. Don't wear it out hahaha.....lame I know. That's what I am. Lame.

I use to love summer. But now that school is over I won't see my crush anymore. And who's my crush? Uh well-

"Why are you looking star struck at Traci?" Ivan asked smirking and I blushed while Traci raised an eyebrow.

I hate you, Ivan.

"Yeah, why?" Traci asked smirking and I opened my mouth to make an excuse that would probably fail but the bell rung making me smile.

Saved by the bell.

I stood up slinging my backpack over my shoulder. I started walking out the classroom like other students but Mr. Bald stopped us.

"Also, during the summer you guys still have work to do. When you guys get back to school I want a whole diary or journal whatever you want to call it, about your summer" he said and groans went everywhere except Ivan.

"Yes! Partners?" he asked and I smacked him in the back of the head.

"Ow," he said glaring at me as he rubbed where I hit him.

Sometimes I wonder how I became best friends with this nerd.

"No partners." Mr. Bald said and Ivan nodded before we headed out of class.

"We're all still heading over your house right?" Ivan asked me and I nodded.

Everyone but Traci.

"Yeah, don't be late," I said shooting a glance at Janet and Trin.

"We won't be," Trin said smiling before tangling her arm with Janet's and walking away.

"Video games?" Ivan asked as I pushed the doors open.

"Yeah," I said walking down the stairs to the outside.

I took a deep breath smiling. Well, at least no more school, quizzes, tests, none of that...well except for a diary about your summer.

I spun around in my computer chair as Ivan and I waited for the girls to get here.

"Is it really okay your parents are paying for me?" Ivan spoke breaking the silence.

"Ivan, for the last time yes. This is a trip for all of us to enjoy." I said.

"But Janet's and Trin's parents paid for them to go." he pointed out.

"Well, that's because..." I said glancing at him and he raised an eyebrow.

They're not broke...

My bedroom door swung open. "Sorry we're late!" Janet said walking in with Trin and I spun in their direction glaring.

"I said not to be late." I said.

"Yeah yeah shut up and eat this." Trin said throwing a bag in my face.

"Ow." I said pointing then opened the bag. "Ooooh donut holes!" I said smiling and took one out then began nibbling on it.

"Weirdo." Janet said laughing as Trin shook her head smiling and rolled her eyes.

"Hamster." Trin said and I pouted.

"I am not." I said as Ivan stole the bag and plopped a donut hole in his mouth.

"Thief." I said glaring and he shrugged smiling.

"Soooo anyways, about the trip!" Janet said smiling and I rolled my eyes.

"We're all leaving tonight so I hope you guys have all your stuff packed, we'll be gone the whole summer." I said smiling and the girls cheered while Ivan's eyes widen.

"The whole....month?" he asked and I nodded. "But...isn't that expensive?" he asked and I hit him with a pillow.

"Shut up and be grateful your going." I said and he glared fixing his glasses.

"I don't want your parents spending so much money on me." he hissed.

"Ivan, chill. This is suppose to be fun." I said as the girls nodded and he crossed his arms.

"I just feel terrible." he mumbled.

"Feel unterrible." I said smiling and he glared.

"Count me out on this trip." he said heading towards the door and the girls frowned.

"Ivan;" I said smirking. "You'll be wasting their money if you don't go." I said and he turned to look at me.

He crossed his arms and smirked. "Invite Traci." he said and I blushed huffing.

"Oh my gosh yes." Janet said shaking Trin. "He's so hot we must invite hiiim." she said and I crossed my arms glaring at her.

"We can't, Ivan is suppose to be going." Trin said pulling away from Janet.

"And may I add, he will." I said shooting him a glare and he glared right back.

"Why do I have to go?" he asked and I sighed.

"The truth is, that I'm madly in love with you." I said and the girls gasped.

"Yeah right." he scoffed.

"Eh, I gave it a shot." I said shrugging and Trin laughed nudging me.

"Go on, tell him the truth." she said and I sighed again.

"Okay...Ivan, I don't want to be stuck with girls!" I yelled fake crying.

Janet glared at me while Trin rolled her eyes smiling. Ivan rolled his eyes also then huffed.

"Fine...only because I don't want your parents to be wasting their money." he said grumbling.

"Yaaaaaaay!" we all said hugging him.

And he rolled his eyes smiling before letting out a breath then hugged us back.

"Okay...getting awkward here." I said flapping my hands around and we pulled away laughing.

"For the first day of summer, well it hasn't really begun." I said chuckling to myself, looking into my video camera that I got when I was twelve. "But we'll be abording a boat when dad drives us there. Ivan is gonna be soooo pissed, he gets sea sick easily." I said laughing. "Well anyway this is like a intro I guess. It's May 30th 2016, summer doesn't start till tomorrow. Good night." I said smiling then stopped recording.

Hehe looks like Ivan was wrong. I do plan ahead and do my work. I stuck my tongue out at practically no one.

"Son are you ready?" dad asked knocking on my door scaring the complete shit out of me.

"O-Oh um yeah." I said putting my video camera up then opened my door.

"Good, your friends are already in the van." he said and I nodded rolling my luggage following him down the stairs.

Summer here we come

XD so how was that? Bad? Good? I tried my best hahaha. Also for the challenge I am not counting these little notes for the word count. Well byeee my little potatoes.
