I guess you could blame it on the fact that in her escape, she accidentally ended up as a stowaway on a ship, and somehow befriended the God of Thunder, a Valkyrie, a giant angry scientist, and a rock-man played by Taika Waititi. 

So one year later, we find ourselves here:
