Shu :

Shu is really unfair, and you discovered that firsthand when you adopted a stray dog. Afternoon sunlight peeped through tall, royal panels when you find the two resting in the family room.

"Shu-san, it's time to walk [ Dog's name ]!"

His eyes open, only to see you holding a leash. He groans in response before closing his eyes again. "You got it, you take care of it. It's your fault for accepting the responsibility in the first place."

You crossed your arms. "If it's my responsibility, then how do you explain this?!"

You pointed glaringly at your dog, its head nestled comfortably on Shu's stomach. They've been in this position all day, having the occasional nap.

"It just likes me best."

He says that while rubbing the dog's head affectionately.

Reiji :

"[Y/n], get it out of my laboratory."

You laughed softly, holding the hyper pup down. Both of you were covered in dried mud, and Reiji was not pleased.

"'It' has a name, Reiji-san, and [ Dog's Name ] just wants to have fun," You ruffled its fur, earning a bark in response.

He huffed, dusting off his pants. "Fun as in destroying my concoctions and running amok, leaving nothing but soiled footprints on my carpets. Is that what you mean, [Y/n]?"

Whoops.

"Sorry, sorry!"

He speaks about the dog in exasperation, but it's always Reiji who feeds it accordingly, and grooms it.

Laito :

You walk in to see your dog on the floor, and Laito rubbing its tummy fondly. You giggle at the sight, and your boyfriend looks at you, his grin widening.

"Double Bitch-chan!"

" . . . Eh?"

You stared at him. Then the dog. Then him again.

"Are you referring to the . . . both of us, Laito-kun?"

He chuckled. "It's very fitting, ne, Bitch-chan~?"

You sighed in faux vexation, "I just wish you liked walking it, showering it, and feeding it just as much as making nicknames for it, Laito-kun."

Kanato :

It took a lot of convincing on your part to persuade Kanato to finally get a dog.

"Only get a puppy." He had said, shunning out the option of getting big dogs.

When you got it, the first rules were set : Don't touch Teddy!

He's extremely cautious towards the pup, his anger always spiking when you pay "too much" attention to it instead of him.

"You mutt! Don't hog [Y/n]-san to yourself! I'll kill you!"

Ayato :

The day you got the dog, was the day you found out Ayato was a major dog person. You remember the first thing he said about it. "Oi, Chichinashi. Let's name it something stupid. Like 'Naked'! So when we're calling for it, we can say "Eh, we're just getting naked!""

And to be honest, you feel as if you don't have a dog; Ayato keeps hogging the damn thing, with the exception of feeding it, walking it, taking responsibility for it.

"Ayato!" You shouted. "Stop letting [ Dog's Name ] run in here! It's tracking mud!"

"You sound like Reiji. It's annoying," He clicks his tongue, ruffling the dog's fur. "Stop bein' so naggy; it's cute."

He probably falls asleep with it, too. A dog is a boy's [ vampire's ] best friend, so they say.

Subaru :

"Oi, I didn't agree to this," Subaru glared at the small pup in the doggy cage. "Why'd you bring a dog in here? It's gonna piss all over the damn place."

You frowned at his pessimistic comment. "But it's cute! We'll train it! Pleeeeeeeease~"

Both you and the dog flashed him your best puppy dog eyes. Please, Subaru-kun~

"Tch. I'm not gonna be helpin' you," He scratched his head. "So don't come to me complainin'."

He leaves the dog to you, or you thought. But when you weren't there, he always scratches its head, a small blush on his face.

Not that he'd ever let you see, though.

Ruki :

"Sit."

You stare in amusement as the dog you had only gotten yesterday sat. Ruki has already taught it the basics, which made it easier for you.

Its gray collar bounced when it sat, its tail wagging eagerly.

"Teach it how to play dead!" You joked, "C'mon, Ruki-kun! It'll be hilarious!"

[ extra ]

"I don't see why you find so much amusement in my disciplining, Livestock," He glared at you. "You're next."

Kou :

"Why not a cat?" He says in distaste, scrutinizing the poor puppy with hostile eyes. "They're cuter, more obedient, smarter."

Even after the dog rubs Kou's leg, he only sighs. "Fiiiiiiiine. It can stay."

Over the course of the days, Kou begins warming up to it, although, everytime you asked him, he would always respond, "It'll have to do for now."

Despite his complaints early on, he always buys little clothing and an assortment of collars for your dog to play dress-up.

"Even if it's a mutt, it has to look the best! It's the dog of an idol, after all~"

Yuma :

You glanced outside, loud chuckles and barking drawing your attention to Yuma's garden. You walked outside, following the jovial laughter to the pumpkin patch.

You smiled.

Yuma and [ Dog's Name ] seemed to be having the time of their lives. The dog yipped happily, its tail wagging as it raced around the growing crops, its paws dirtied. Yuma, who looked equally as muddy, chased after it playfully.

"I'VE GOT YOU NOW," Yuma hollered, tackling the dog down, scratching its belly affectionately.

You couldn't help but laugh, knowing Yuma would receive an earful from Ruki for trailing dirt into the house.

Azusa :

"You're really soft and warm . . ." Azusa pet the dog, hoping it would get annoyed and bite him. He sighs in slight disappointment, but doesn't protest.

The sight of Azusa with a dog all cuddled up almost made you forget why you entered his room in the first place.

"Azusa-kun! It's your turn to walk the dog!"

He looks at you. " . . . Ne, [ Dog's Name]-san, go over to [ Y/n ]-san . . ."

It woofs, before happily trotting over to your feet.

"It wants you to walk it . . ." Azusa observes. "I think you should. . ."

You shake your head. "Azusa-kun . . ."
