It was near the finals for the Vytal Festival Tournament and you were spending some time your girlfriend, Blake. The both of you were walking around enjoying the festival, playing carnival games, enjoying a few treats from the stands and simply walking around, while holding hands, to enjoy the view.

(Y/N): I'm glad we had the chance to finally spend some time together.

Blake: Yeah, it's better to actually walk around instead of spending time with you stuck in bed.

You smiled at the comment knowing that it was true. 

(Y/N): Well I did say that we'd have a proper date when I get out.

She turned her head to smile at you and peck your cheek.

Blake: I think we've had enough fun for now. Let's head back to the theater to watch the next round.

(Y/N): Yeah,  let's get some popcorn before we -

Ring! Ring!

You let go of Blake's hand to look at your scroll that is currently ringing.

(Y/N): It's a message from Ozpin. *sigh* Oh great, he wants to see me right away.

Blake: Just hurry back, then. I wouldn't want you to miss the rest of the matches.

(Y/N): I'm sure it's nothing special, I'll try my best to make it back in time.

As soon as you put your scroll away, you brought Blake in for a kiss. The both held the kiss for quite a while till the both of you parted. You've said your goodbyes and left to speak with Ozpin.

During your walk from the colesseum,  you've noticed a troubled Pyrrha walking to the direction you came from. You figured that Ozpin has told her and she obviously looked as if he wasn't exactly feeling well. The both of you walked past eachother without saying a word but you decided to stop for a quick second.

(Y/N): Hey!

Pyrrha stopped to look at you still facing away from her.

(Y/N): If you don't accept I'll be grateful but if you do accept, I won't hold it against you for what happens to my cousin.

Pyrrha's eyes widened as she listened to what you had just said.

(Y/N): Sometimes a lot of us have to sacrifice something important in order to keep moving forward. It may not be the best option but... There are times where we have to do something incredibly drastic in order to protect those precious to us.

Pyrrha: (Y/N) I...

(Y/N): I know what the risks are and questioning yourself like this isn't exactly helping your case. Just hold to your will or something, maybe that'll keep you as yourself. 

And with that, you continued walking to Ozpin's office, leaving Pyrrha to think for herself. It may have not been the best advice but it was at least something so she wouldn't lose her mind over everything.

Time Skip The fall of Beacon

(Y/N): Dammit, where the hell is everyone?!

You were runnig through the streets of Vale during a Grimm invasion, as well as members of the White Fang.

???: Hey, You!

You stopped your running as you were surrounded by numerous White Fang soldiers.

(Y/N): I don't have time for this!

You drew your sword from back and immediately sprung into action. All of them fired their weapons at you but they stopped when you vanished into thin air.

White Fang Soldier: Where'd he go?

The surrounding group weren't prepared for them to be knocked back by an unkown force, rendering them unconscious. You reappeared back in the center right after they were knocked back and holstered your weapon.

(Y/N): I've wasted enough time as it is!

Your scroll rang and you immediately answered it to hear Yang's voice on the other line.

Yang: (Y/N)! Where have you been? Everyone is meeting at Beacon! I'm out here in Vale looking for you and Blake.

(Y/N): If that's the case then you should be there as well. I'll look for Blake and bring her back.

Yang: No can do! I'm not leaving the both of you here!

(Y/N): *sigh* fine. Just let me know if you find her and I'll meet the both of you back at Beacon.

Yang: You got it!

The both of you hung up and you began running around looking for the black haired Faunus. You cut down numerous grimm along the way to keep them from causing anymore harm. 

As soon as you finished battling with another group of Grimm, you heard the sounds of distant screams. Taking any chance you had, you immediately moved at full speed to follow the yelling which led you to a burning building. What happened next horrified you more that he sight of the ruined city.

Yang's arm had been cut off by someone's sword while Blake was behind him bleeding on the ground. The man then turned to finish off Blake but you stopped his blade with your dagger.

???: What?! 

(Y/N): Hmph, begone!

You then used one of your feet to kick the man back into a wall. You took the chance to turn to Blake. You then ripped off half of the sleeve from your jacket to place over Blake's wound. After the makeshift bandage you brought her on her feet so she can make her escape.

(Y/N): Can you walk?

Blake: Yeah but-

(Y/N): Take Yang and head to Beacon.

Blake: You're not coming with us?

(Y/N): No, I'll make sure this guy doesn't follow.

Blake: But Adam will -

You cut her off by placing a kiss on her lips. You seperated after a few seconds and led her outside along with Yang over your shoulder. You placed yang's remaining arm over Blake's shoulder so she can walk away with her friend.

(Y/N): Go, now!

She hesitated at firs but she walked away from the sight to leave you in a much heated battle. You walked back inside the building to find Adam slowly rising from his spot.

(Y/N): I'm going to make sure you suffer just as much as you made Blake suffer!

Adam: as if you stand a chance against me. You can't even use your other arm.

(Y/N): Heh, I don't exactly need two arms just to kick your ass.

You then brought your sword and swung it to the side to create a powerful wind which destroyed some rubble to block any exits.

Adam: You mean to kill the both of us?

(Y/N): No. Both of us have the power to escape this death trap... But only one of us will walk out of this place.

The both of you began to glare at each other until the both of you moved at each other in blinding speeds. 

Both swords began clashing as the two do you slashed at one another.

You then held off one of his attacks keeping the two weapons locking with each other. You grinned as the swords held each other off and you disappeared in an instant.

Adam: Coward!

You reappeared right in front of him and sped right through him as you appeared behind him.

(Y/N): They don't call me the speed demon for nothing.

Adam then turned around but stopped when he realized that part of his mask had fallen off. It didn't reveal much but what fell of next angered him. You watched as both of horns had fallen into pieces.

Adam: Why you!

(Y/N): C'mon, don't be a hypocrite. You've done something much worse than your precious little horns.

The wind inside the room began to pick up, causing the fire to grow wildly. The fire then began to around you as if you were controlling the flames themselves. The fire didn't stop until you were completely covered in a vortex of fire.

(Y/N): You brought harm to the one I love. For that, I'll make sure you're erased from this world.

Adam stepped back in fear, thinking that you are something far than human. He needed to escape, but it was too late. You dug your fire covered sword into his side and blasted him with the fire and wind to send him flying outside of the building.

He coughed blood as he sat in his spot against a wall outside of the building. He looked ahead to find the building had completely fallen, with your body nowhere to be found.  The red haired Faunus then stood up began to slowly walk away to find aid from his soldiers.

Time Skip Blake's Departure

Blake: I'm sorry everyone. 

Blake ran through the streets of Vale as soon as she quickly recovered. Your body was nowhere to be found after your battle with Adam Taurus. She cried for hours when she heard the news of your disappearance. She nearly reached the edge of Vale until a dagger was thrown in front of her. It was dug into the wall next to her, but she recognized the black and red design.

(Y/N): Going somewhere?

Blake turned to where the dagger came from and found you in different clothing. You wore robes as if you were hiding your identity but the hood wasn't up.

Blake: (Y/N)... I thought you -

(Y/N): Yeah, that's what I had Ironwood tell everyone,

Blake: Why?! You had everyone believing you were dead!!

(Y/N): I'm sorry I've caused you so much pain... But from this point on, I need to continue in the shadows... what I've learned from Ironwood, a relative of mine has been killed by the one behind this mess. So I want to start getting some leads by tracking down this Adam.

Blake: (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Listen, I know that both of us have some things that we haven't shared with each other. 

Blake looked down at the ground knowing what your words mean. You simply smiled and placed your good hand in her shoulder.

(Y/N): Why don't we talk about it on the way home?

Blake: How did you know where I wanted to go?

(Y/N): You just told me.

Blake: ... Alright, let's go.

The both of you then took your leave and fled Vale.

Blake: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Yes?

Blake: I love you

(Y/N): heh, love you too, kitten.

Well I hope you enjoyed that. This was my first male reader insert story so I hope I didn't do too bad. I might've said this before but I still an undecided on the next character. I'm at a choice between Ruby or Yang... We'll see by the end of the weekend.
