Anyways picking up where we left off.

Mysterious Girl: You're joking...

(Y/N): I wish I was

Mysterious Girl: Really? We've known each other ever since we were kids

You bring your hand into your chin to think about this girl until  you finally realized she was.

(Y/N): Blake?

The girl now identified as Blake nodded in reply.

(Y/N):  Heh, didn't expect to see you here. Especially after we lost contact six years ago

Blake: We didn't lose contact, you disappeared after that 'incident'

You immediately felt a pain in your chest after a certain memory was recalled into your head. You never dropped your smile, but you truly felt pain after remembering the memory.

(Y/N): Touchy subject to bring up when we were eleven, but I'd rather not get into details at the moment.

You turned and started walking to orientation.  You stopped after a couple of steps to speak to Blake.

(Y/N): Besides we have an orientation to attend. Next time we speak, I'll be sure to give you my side of the story.

Time skip After Initiation

(Y/N):  Hm, didn't expect Jaune or Ruby to be leaders of their teams. Well maybe I did but it somehow seemed surprising.

You patiently wait as everyone was given there newly formed teams, although you were secretly nervous that you might've been forgotten. All of that changed until the images on the monitors were changed to small clips of your adventure in the Emerald Forest. One particular clip stood out among the rest that shocked the entire crowd, minus Professor Ozpin. It was a clip of you battling multiple types of Grimm mixed into one horde.  What shocked everyone was the fact that you've  sliced through all of them with only two daggers.

Ozpin:  Interestingly enough you've even come out of these battles unscathed. Even I'm impressed at the display in front of me. You were the only one to return with the golden pawn and you've completed the task without taking any form of damage. Normally you'd be sent home since you don't exactly have a time, but I will make this one exception. You, (Y/N) (L/N), will be the only one man team, Congratulations.

(Y/N): Hm,  this isn't my first time running solo.

Ozpin: I expect great things from you Mr. (L/N). Do not disappoint.

Timeskip One Week Later

(Y/N): at this point you start to wonder if Professor Oobleck gets his speed from the coffee or his semblance.

You walk out of your last class of the day, yawning from another long boring day of school. The only event part of school days are usually combat training with Professor Goodwitch,  even so you only find a few of your fellow classmates an actual challenge. Luckily,  nobody has been able to land a single hit on you, otherwise your secret would've been revealed to the entire class.

???: Hey (Y/N)!

You turned around to find Ruby running towards you.

(Y/N): Yo

Ruby: Me and the others were heading down to the cafeteria for dinner and we were wondering if you'd want to join us.

(Y/N): Sure, I don't exactly have much left in my fridge to make dinner anyways.

Ruby: Aw yeah! The One Man Army is having dinner with us!

You let out a chuck at the young teen's excitement as the both of you walked to Beacon's cafeteria.

(Y/N): I didn't think I was tha- wait one man army?

Ruby: Yup! That's what everyone in beacon calls you! It's either that or The Speed Demon.

(Y/N): Kinda fitting to my semblance.

Ruby: I've been meaning to ask, what is your semblance?

(Y/N): I can manipulate wind to enhance my speed, which is why I chose to use daggers instead of any other weapons. That and I can use the wind to make my weapons significantly more sharp. I also have no trouble with ranged attacks since I can also use my semblance to send wind blades at my opponents. 

Ruby: That's.... Awesome!!

(Y/N): Yeah well, even after all of those power, I still have some weaknesses but that's something for you to find out if I'm ever beaten.

Ruby: Heh, I'll beat you one day! Me or Blake, or the both of us since we can match your speed. Although, Blake get seen more quiet when she's around you. I don't know why.

You laughed as you ruffled the girl's hair as the both of you neared the cafeteria.

(Y/N): It's nothing for to worry about at the moment, for now let's just enjoy food with some friends.

Ruby: 'Kay!

As the both of you walked into the cafeteria, you immediately set your eyes on Blake. Said person saw you and immediately looked down onto her food to hide a slight blush.

(Y/N): *in thought* Ha! You may have everyone fooled but you were never good at hiding things from me. I'm goin to have so much with this!

Alright, that was the end of that. I hope everyone enjoyed that, I know this is a Male Reader X Blake but even I nearly thought this seems more like a male reader x reader. Don't worry, there will be more Blake after this, this one was just to explain semblance and well just some time to give myself some time to change up some ideas. I'll be sure to post more often after this one so to anyone reading this... Anyone... I apologize since this one was a filler chapter but I kinda make these stories a good length before ending them. I will go as far as volume 3 for these stories, not sure when I'll cover volume 4 but it will happen eventually.
