I'm Starting a new school soon, and I keep hearing my mom telling me I should start 'dressing better'. The problem is that I like my geeky/gamer style. Should I change my appearance, or keep is the same?

Well, people do judge in school, but I have seen people who wear geeky/ games clothes around the school and they don't get judged that much. Some do get judge though! I told my friend I think a guy looked like my 7th grade crush and she asked me who, so I showed her and she said "Ew! He's to nerdy to look like your 7th grade crush" I got mad at her because she wasn't being really nice. What I think I recommend is that one day you wear your usual clothes and the other day, you wear new clothes. It's a win win in my opinion. But if you don't want to wear those type of clothes then wear what you usually wear! If people start to hate ,then ignore them! You like it and that's all it matters. Its better to be yourself then to be like everyone else.
