Why are rare pairs so freaking good yet there is so little fanfiction about them.

Like I'm not picky bout my pairs but sometimes I'm in the mood for something that just isnt written about.

I could write about rare pairs and am totally for that but urgh reading ones own writing and being satisfied is hardly possible so satisfying my rare pair need is non plausible.

Anyone relate?
