The gang are going shopping for more food after their food supply is almost out. They went to the largest supermarket in town. They hit zombies along the way, of course. June wrote the shopping list with each category, except veggies. "Alright," June said to the boys, "here's the plan: Dirk will shop for pizza, pizza rolls, cinnamon rolls, popsicles, and pop (people in my state called soda "pop"). I will shop for ice cream, some fruits because we need to be healthy, chips, and donuts. Quint and Jack will shop for candy together. Sounds good?" "Yep," Dirk responded. "Awesome," Jack replied. "Yay..." Quint said awkwardly. 

*Quint's POV*  

It's fine. I mean, Jack and I are together. Well, in a best friend way. I started to have strange feelings for my best friend ever since he saved me from being dogpiled by the zombies. I'm scared to tell him because it will definitely ruin our friendship and I don't want it to happen. When I heard that Jack and I shop for candy or sweets, I awkwardly said, "Yay..." and hid my almost blushing face. 

*skip to Jack and Quint's place, also nobody's POV*

"Hey, buddy!" Jack said to his best friend, Quint. "Um, yes?" quint asked confusingly. "We should get all of the candy of the store," Jack said with a big smile across the face. "Um... would that be too much?" Quint asked. "C'mon buddy," Jack said, placing his arm around Quint's waist, causing Quint to blush hardly.

"Um, OK," Quint replied, "but, we need to be careful." "Careful?" Jack said with a playful attitude, "usually, being careful isn't my thing." Quint tried to respond back, but lost his words.

*time skip to where Dirk accidently woke a monster living in the store*

"MOVE MOVE MOVE!" Dirk cried, as the four teens tried to escape. Then, the monster blocked the exit with its long tail and roared at them. Then, suddenly, Jack hit the monster at the eye with his Louisville Slasher, making the monster's tail move, giving the four an escape. When they get out, they catch their breath. "Dirk," June said angrily, "WHAT THE HECK?! WHY DID YOU WAKE THE MONSTER UP?!" "It's an accident," Dirk said, "I just stepped its tail, that's all." 

"Well, at least we still got the food we've been looking for," Jack said with a small smile as he showed his friends the shopping cart filled with food. "Thank god," June said as she took a deep breath. 

*time skip to where Jack and Quint sat by each other at the treehouse eating pizza and some chocolate candy*

Jack and Quint are eating pizza at peace while Dirk and June are playing a video game inside the treehouse. Then, Jack took out a Hershey's bar and took a bite. He, then, saw Quint eating a piece of licorice that Quint made a silly face. "This licorice tastes bad," he said, "I knew that we shouldn't shop for licorice." "Here," Jack said, "take my chocolate bar. I only took one bite out of it." "Um, isn't that gay to shave a bar with just one bite?" Quint asked as he blushed lightly. "Um, who said anything about gay?" Jack asked with a smile, "take it." Quint took the bar gently and took the bite. Mmmm, delicious, Quint thought and ate the entire bar. Jack laughed a bit and playfully hit Quint on the arm. 'C'mon," Jack said to Quint, "let's join the others for video game playing." "Good idea," Quint said with a shy smile. The boys headed inside and play video games with Dirk and June.
