*Jack's POV*

After the kiss Quint gave me, I started to have the same feelings towards him. I find out that I'm bisexual since fourth grade. I used to have a crush on the most popular fourth grader. He is cool-looking, his parents are famous for making good foods and owning a restaurant, he often wear video game shirts (mostly Mario or Pokemon), and his older sister is a openly lesbian who goes to high school. 

When I told that kid how I felt, he laughed and thought it was a joke. Then, he said that he doesn't even know me! My feelings towards him are gone because of his cruelty. That's how I had a crush on June during 6th grade. I feel like I should ask Quint for a date. But, at the same time, he's my best friend. But, I just want to make this friendship to the next level.

*Nobody's POV*

Quint's mind is filled with the kiss he gave to Jack last night. He has no idea what to do during this time. I told Jack that I am gay and had a crush on him, he thought, and he likes me back. He put his hand across his chin. Then, suddenly, he came up with an idea. I know, he thought, I should ask him for a date! Yeah, let's do that.

*time skips to the afternoon, almost evening, after yet another zombie fight*

The four kids plus Rover become exhausted from running and fighting. "Man," Dirk complained, "I could really use a nap." "Same," June replied. The gang lower their bodies to the ground and rest for a couple of minutes until they head to Joe's Pizza for dinner. Quint feels shy because he wants to ask Jack for a date. But, he doesn't know what theme is perfect for the date. Then, he asked some monsters for advice. Meanwhile, Jack wants his date to be perfect, so he asked a bunch of monsters to help him out. Both groups agreed to help. Then, Jack notices Quint and walked to him.

When Quint notices Jack walking to him, he blushes and waved at him. Jack waved back. "Hey, Jack," Quint said, "whatchya doing?" "Quint," Jack said before let out a sigh, "we're just friends for a long time, yes?" "Yeah," Quint responded.

"Well, Quint. There's something I wanna ask you."

"OMG, Jack! I have something to say too."

The boys take a deep breath and at the same time, they ask each other, "Will you go on a real date with me?" The boys gasped as they said the same thing. Again at the same time, they responded, "YES!" The boys laughed and headed their own ways. Then, they tell their group about it. Then, they walked to each other. 'So, what time?" Jack asked. "How about 9 PM?" Quint replied. "OK, 9 PM it is," Jack repeated. 

Then, Jack notices June. She appeared to have a smirk and said to him, "Don't worry, you might have some time to spend time with me." "Okay, I'll try to find some time," Jack said as he kissed her on the cheek. As Jack exited out the pizzeria, he thought, I hope this date end well.
