ringo nodded slowly, a bit confused on hearing the sudden change in john's tone.

"well, it's true." ringo admitted, looking straight at him through the mirror.

"anything else you want to say to me?" john smirked cockily, heart beating so loudly in his chest he was sure ringo could feel it.

ringo turned and gave him a look. their faces were inches apart.

"you've got morning breath, if that's what your asking."

john clasped a hand over his mouth. "goddamit ringo." he grumbled, his voice muffled. "why didn't you tell me earlier?!"

"you were busy tickling the shit out of me!" ringo defended. after a while, he bit his lip. "but, really, thanks for that john."

"i should be a motivational speaker," john said before grabbing the mouthwash from the cabinet. he gargled. he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand before speaking. "you know you being chubby doesn't change anything about you, right?"

not wanting another tickle fight, ringo nodded. "right."

"and you know there's pros to being chubby, right?"

ringo frowned. "what pros?"

a grin graced john's lips.

"that you're going to be a good fucking cuddle." he grinned at him. "and since it's still five am and i haven't gotten my complete eight hours of beauty sleep---"

"you sleep like a cat, john. which is more than just eight hours----"

"i want to cuddle with you." john finished, trying to fight back the blush that threatened to spread across his cheeks.

ringo smiled. "okay." a cute yawn escaped his lips. "i'm the little spoon, aren't i?"

john rolled his eyes. "you're always the little spoon, rings."

and that was when ringo learned that if he needed someone to turn to, it'd be john. though his sides hurt, he was glad john did that. it made him forget about george and made him feel better about himself.

and he earned himself a cuddle, how about that?
