with ringo on a so-called "meeting", john grabbed his coat and went off to the cavern.

the thought of getting another cat sort of made his day easier to go by, then again, seeing that- that asshole pretending to be the victim. he couldn't blame ringo, he was a softie. john already expected this to happen since ringo always forgave people.

"ey johnny boy," pete greeted, a cardboard box in his arms.

john fought back a cringe. "hi pete."

"oh, uh," the bloke folded back the lid of the box and handed it over to him. "here she is."

"simba," john called out in a sing-song voice that may or may have not made the poor tom's ears bleed. "look what, er, who i got!"

said cat jumped off the couch, staring back at his 1/2 owner an annoyed look as if to say "you disturbed my afternoon nap, this better be good".

"you'll be thrilled," and as promised, the simba's eyes widened when john gently lowered the pussycat down to the floor.

slowly, alice (or nala, if ringo wanted that name) slowly aproached the ginger, like what simba did when he first saw john.

he smiled when the two cats finally got comfortable with each other.

lucky for him, he's got someone, he thought in a bittersweet sort of way.
