john made a gagging sound.
"oh shut it," ringo laughed, playfully hitting his shoulder. "it was sweet!"
"too sweet actually. eh. whatever." john rolled his eyes. "christ we've been walking for ages!"
ringo gave him an "are you serious?" look.
"john, it's been ten minutes."
"exactly!"
"you're such a child." and with that ringo went back to his phone, then looked up. "oh wait, we're here!" he said excitedly, grabbing john's hand and rushed off to the house with bright light pouring from behind the curtains.
"ritchie wait!"

as expected, george greeted him with a sweet kiss.
as expected, ringo stood on his tiptoes and kissed back.
as expected, john looked away and pretended to do something with his phone.
"i'm surprised you came along with ritchie," george said in a sort of weird-friendly-casual tone.
"i'm surprised too." he uttered an "oof!" when ringo elbowed him in his side. "i-i mean nice party you have in here."
george grinned. "thanks. but it's really my sister's idea."

normally, john would've been the life of the party. he would've been dancing with a bird on the dancefloor right this second.
but right now, he was sitting on a bar stool, alone, drink in hand with an expression of "fuck my life" written across his face.
and he missed paul. and he rarely missed paul. sure, he was a nice guy. good kisser. sweet. john dated him once or twice but there was also that diva asshole side of him. and for the first time in his life, john missed that side of him.
and he missed ringo even more.
god, this chapter is depressing. john thought glumly, swirling his half-empty of beer in his paper cup in an attempt of free himself from boredom.
"hi."
john looked up. he managed a small, friendly-esque smile that made his face look even more grim if that was even possible.
"hey."
"you... okay?" the girl asked, sitting beside him.
"yes. no." he buried his face in his hands. "oh i don't know anymore."
"woah. that bad?"
"that bad."
"oh well," she sighed. "i'm helen."
"john," he replied, raising his face to face her. "john lennon."
"well, mister john," she grinned. "what's your dilemma?"
he groaned, his face falling to the table again. "i'm in love with someone who can't love me back."
she winced. "does she have a strict dad and that?"
he turned to her, eyebrows knitted. "she? no, no, she's a he."
"you're gay?" she gaped at him. "i-i mean i'm pretty cool with that but... you don't look the type."
he shrugged. "i prefer the term bisexual. and he has this douchey boyfriend. i don't really know why he likes george but he's jus' so really in love with him and—"
"wait, like george harrison?" she interrupted.
he snorted. "no, i meant george washington." he quickly regretted it, eyes going down to his shoes. "sorry."
she gave him a smile. "it's alright. but really, do you mean like george harrison?"
"what's wrong with gregorio?"
with her thumb she pointed at the direction of the dancefloor.
john sat up properly, giving helen a a confused look. she sighed and grabbed a hold of his face and turned it to the direction he was supposed to be looking at.
"that's wrong with gregorio."
john's mouth fell open. then an angry, no, a furious look formed in his face.
"oh hell no."
