Hinata pov~

Kageyama and I walked home together today. The truth is, I didnt want to go home. I knew exactly what was waiting for me. But, I can't speak up or he would find a way to hurt the people I love. He doesn't love me. He doesn't care. He wants me dead. The thoughts filled my head, overwhelming me.

"Hinata? You seem out of it." Kageyama said pushing my head.

"Oi! Don't hit me!" I yelled. Kageyama just truned his head back to the front and continued to walk.

"Well, thanks for walking me home!" I yelled at kageyama as he left.

"Yea, whatever, idiot." Kageyama said and continued walking.

-time skip- -hinatas house, before dinner-

"Hinata! Come down here now!" Someone yelled from downstairs. I felt my knees give out remembering I left my phone downstairs. I had dropped the phone a while ago leaving a small crack of the screen. It was barely noticeable, but dad gets worked up about the tinest things. I didnt want to go downstairs but I knew the punishment would only be worse if I stayed.

"W-whats wrong?" I asked walking slowly through the kitchen.

"Were you just not gonna tell me about the crack in your phone?! What even happened!? I gave you your own phone and this is how you treat it?!" He yelled at me in pure anger.

"I- i- im sorry! I- I didnt mean to drop it! I.... i tripped!" I said lying to my dad. The real reason I had dropped my phone wasn't that, it was that some boys pushed me down before school a few days ago. But I wasn't going to say anything, he already sees me as weak.

"Also, didn't I tell you to stop hanging out with that kageyama guy!? You always look at him like you like him! That's so embarrassing, to have your son look at boys that way!" He yelled at me, basically throwing my phone on the counter.

"I dont like him like that! Hes straight!" I yelled. Though I was lying about that first part... 'i really do like kageyama- wait! What am I thinking!? Me? Likeing kageyama?! No! No...right?' Soon my thoughts got cut off by my dad slapping me in the face.

"You should be to, you should be straight. That's why I hate being around you! I'm disappointed! I dont want you!" My dad said slammimg the front door on his way out. I stood there is shock after what he just said. Soon I dropped to my knees letting out my tears.

I couldn't help but keep thinking about kageyama... 'do I like him...? More than a friend? No- he's straight! And... and he doesn't like me. Plus, he has tons of girls falling at his feet. Which i hated. I hated the girls that wanted to get with my crush- MY CRUSH!? WHAT AM I SAYING!?' I got up and washed my face in the bathroom sink looking at the red handprint on my face. I cant hide this like I can the other brusies from my dad.. what do I do? I have volley ball soon stopped worrying and put on my white shirt with a black jacket and black sweat pants.

"Oi! Kageyama!" I yelled as i saw him walking down the sidewalk on his way to the gym. I ran to catch up to him, looking down, hoping to hide the slap mark on my face a bit.

"Hi, shrimp." He said not taking his eyes off his phone.

"....your reminding me of tsukishima." I said referring to the fact he won't take his eyes of his phone.

"Hey! Don't associate me with that walking ladder!" He said finally putting his phone away.

I laughed as we walked into the gym. We were a bit earlier but never expected to see what we did.

"S-suga?" I called out for him. Suga sprang out of daichis lap and let out a yell.

"AGH- oh.. h-hinata, kageyama, you scared the life out of me!" Suga yelled at us hiding his blushing face.

"Were you.. kissing daichi?" I asked and tilted my head to the side with a confused look.

"Uhm- nope!" He said way to quickly. The other boys started walking in breaking the awkward silence between suga and I. After a few mintes of preparing, setting up the court and stuff, daichi yelled: "Lets start practice!" The team awnserd with a loud: "okay!"

-time skip- -after practice-
Kageyama pov~

"Hinata! Kageyama! Its your turn to clean the gym!" Daichi said leaving along with the rest of the team.

"Hinata! You have to stay and help me." I yelled at hinata, who was trying to sneak out of the gym.

"Fineeeee" he groaned, grabbed the bin of volley balls and bringing them to the closet. A few seconds later I heard a crash coming from the storage closet.

"Hinata!? You okay?!" I yelled, nervously waiting for an answer.

"Ow... ow.. owwww" hinata limped as he made his way over to me.

"What happened, shrimp?" I asked bending down to look at his ancle.

"I was trying to reach something, but I slipped and fell." He explained.

"Baka... be more careful." I said putting a wrap around his ankle.

"Thanks!" He said giggling and smiling.

'Cute. Wait- what!? What am I thinking? ...but he is really cute....' i thought to myself.

"Y-yeah whatever.... also.. what happened to you face..? It looks like you got slapped." I said worried for hinatas health.

"Oh-! I fell on my face earlier!" Hinata said with a smile, reassuring me.

"Oh.. okay." I said and we finished cleaning the gym. We began walkimg home in a comfortable silence until hinata ruined it.

"Oi kageyama.....?" He asked. I couldnt help but notice the light blush that spread across his cheeks.

"What is it?" I asked blushing a bit.
'God hes cute....'

"Uhm... i-i was wondering if you want to go see a scary movie with me tomorrow night...?" He asked playing with the zipper on his jacket. "Y-you don't have to! i was just-" he frantically said until I cut him off.

"Sure, ill meet you here after school tomorrow and we can go to my house for a bit. See you, baka." I said and turned to go to my house.

Hinata pov~

I stood there in shock watching kageyama walk away. Then it hit me....
'I'm going on a date with kags!' I was so excited I ran all the way to my house. When I got there I heard some noises from the kitchen which statled me. 'Usally dad doesn't come home for a week or so after we have had a fight...'

"Hello...?" I yelled into the darkened kitchen.

"Hinata!" A voice yelled as they made their way closer to me.

"Mom! I missed you!" I yelled pulling her into a hug.

"I missed you too hun! I thought I would come and visit while I'm off work, I made dinner!" She said as she handed me my plate. "I assume you probably have homework so I made it easier to eat in you room!" She said with a smile on her face.

"Thanks mom! I love you! Night!" I yelled making my way upstairs. I set everything down and got my homework out. Though, i couldn't focus very much... i was busy thinking about kageyama. Soon I finished my food and homework and fell asleep.
