I had to make two part's to Lawliet's because his ending is where the anime continues and no one dies.

Nothing was happening. No one was falling on the ground or dying. Everyone was still alive.

   " We're still alive. It's been over a minute and we haven't died! " Matsuda said with amazement.

   " Didn't I already tell you all that no one was gonna die? " Near said

   " But why? Why won't they die? God! I did everything you told me! " He said shouting at Light

   " Rester, Gevanni, take him now! "

They charged at him and held him in place. They handcuffed him and he dropped the notebook. Light looked stunned. It looked as if his brain couldn't function.

   " Gevanni, the notebook, please. "

He brought the notebook to Near. Near let go of my hand to read it.

   " If you didn't believe me earlier, then see for yourselves. I can confirm that the first four names are definitely real names of the SPK members. The second four are the names of your team. The only names that haven't been written down...is Y/n's name and Light Yagami. "

I could see Light snarling at Near.

   " We can tell it wasn't Y/n because Mikami here addressed you, Light Yagami, as God and said he did what you asked him to. It's settled. "

Light started taking deep breaths. It looked like he was about to have a panic attack.

   " It's a trap! This whole thing is a setup! This is all part of Near's plan to frame me! Isn't it a little odd that no one died after having their name written in the notebook? This proves its a trap! "

   ' I've never heard Light like this. He sounds... desperate. '

   " I believe I already told you that no one would die because I modified the notebook. "

   " No! You-That can't be! This is a setup. I don't know this guy! "

Mikami started crying from what Light said. Aizawa walked up to Light and placed a hand on his shoulder.

   " Light, it's too late to deny it. You know Near has won. Just a moment ago you said ' looks like I win '. How much more of a confession do we need? "

   " Light...why? "

Matsuda fell to his knees and Aizawa took his hand off of his shoulder. Mogi walked up to him and was about to put handcuffs on Light. When he yelled.

   " Stop it! "

He moved away from Mogi and started running away. Ran and then tripped. He started running again until his body met with a door to the building. One you would lift upward. He looked shaken and desperate for something, anything to happen. I walked closer to them. To the Task Force.

   " Light Yagami, L, Kira, it's over. You've lost the game. Just a moment ago you proclaimed your victory, expecting us all to die. And to tell the truth, you might've actually won. And I would've lost. We ended up doing exactly what you expected us to and altered the fake notebook in Mikami's possession. "

   " However, when he said they had modified the notebook, he was referring to the real notebook as well as the fake. They only switched part of the fake notebook. But as for the real one they replaced the entire thing. " Lawliet said

   " This notebook here is actually the real one. " Near said pulling the real notebook from his white shirt.

   " No! Impossible! " Light screamed.

   " We used the same kind of pen that Mikami used, copied his handwriting perfectly, and made both the inside and the outside of our fake look exactly like the original. Gevanni was able to do it in a single night. Of course, since I touched the real notebook before coming, I've been able to see the shinigami as well. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Shinigami. I'm Near.  "

   " Nice to meet you too. My name is Ryuk. "

   " Some of the edges of this notebook's pages are torn. Tell me, if someone's name is written on a ripped-off piece of this paper would they still die? "

Light's thoughts were as clear as day, but Near got him out of his thoughts.

Takeda's name was written in the notebook. Light must have killed her earlier with a slip of paper but her name is here.

   " God! You told me you couldn't move freely. I had to make sure Takada was taken care of! Wasn't that my duty to you? " Mikami said.

   " I had been following Mikami for days. One day he claimed to go to the bank. He always went to the bank on the 25th of every month so it was strange to see that he was going again two days later. This was the only time I ever saw him concerned about if someone was following him or not. I went to his safe deposit box and the real notebook was there. Takada's name was already written inside. " Gevanni said.

   " Do you understand Light Yagami? You didn't realize Mikami made a move on his own and wrote Takada's name in the notebook. Because you had already killed her using a notebook clipping yourself. This made me consider the possibility of a fake notebook. We were able to stop you thanks to the efforts of one person. It was Mello who did it all. I bet Mello knew in his heart that working by ourselves, neither of us would be able to attain our goal and surpass our mentor, L but together, we can stand with L. Together we can surpass L. And now, acting as one we face the Kira who almost defeated L but couldn't because of Y/n who surpassed him and with solid evidence, beat him at his own game! Let's see if you can talk your way out of this one. " Near explained.

It was silent. Nothing was said and no one made a move. I was standing by Matsuda when Light started laughing like a maniac. It sounded crazy. Then he stopped and smiled at everyone.

   " That's right...I am Kira. And what can you do? Kill me right here? Hear this. I'm not only Kira. But I am also God of the new world! Kira has become law in the world we now live in. He's the one who's maintaining order. I have become justice. The only hope for mankind. Kill me? Is that really the right thing to do? Since six years ago wars have stopped, global crime rates are down by 70%. But it's not enough. This world is still rotten! With too many rotten people. Somebody has to do this! When I first got that notebook all those years ago, I knew I had to do it. No, I was the only one who could! I understood that killing people was a crime. There was no other way! The world had to be fixed! A purpose given to me! Only I could do it. Who else would have done it? And come this far? The only one who can create a new world...is me."

   " No. You're just a murder Light Yagami. And this notebook is the deadliest weapon of mass murder in the history of mankind. You yielded to the power of the shinigami and the notebook. You confused yourself with a god. In the end, you're nothing more than a crazy serial killer. That's all you are. Nothing more and nothing less."

It was quiet again. Light turned around and walked a little. He was asking about the real notebook. When he yelled We realized there was a piece of the notebook in his watch. Matsuda quickly shot his hand and blood started flowing. They both started yelling at each other. Matsuda kept the gun on Light.

   " Shoot them! "

When he didn't Light looked at me.

   " Y/n! Help me! I kept you alive for a reason! I love you but you have to help me here! You were going to be the goddess of the new world! That's why I never killed you and I tried to lead you away from L and Near! My goddess, you have to help me! "

   " Light..."

Matsuda started shooting at him. Every bullet Matsuda shot had hit Light. Matsuda would've killed Light if we didn't pull his gun away from Light's head. I felt tears running down my face.

   " Damn you. What the hell is this? " He croaked.

He screamed at Mikami to kill them. Mikami was struggling.

   " Where's Y/n? Please! "

   ' He doesn't want to die alone. '

Then Mikami stabbed himself with his own pen. Light was able to escape While Mikami died on the floor. Lawliet and I chased after Light. Everyone else ran around to find him but we saw where he was going.

( Anyone's P.O.V. )

As Light was running he was having flashbacks of his life. He even saw his old self before he picked up the notebook walking and studying for school.

   " Well, Light it looks like you've lost. Remember how in the beginning when we first met, I told you that I'd be the one writing your name in my notebook? That is part of the agreement between a shinigami who brings a notebook to the human world...and the first human who picks it up." Ryuk said.

Light struggled as he went inside a building.

   " If they put you in prison, who knows when you'd die? And I don't wanna lie around waiting. So, it's all over. You'll die here."

Light made his way to some steps before collapsing. You made your way to him with Lawliet by your side.

   " L-Light... "

He looked at you and held your face in his hand.

   " It was good while it lasted. We eased each other's boredom for quite a while. Well, Light it's been interesting. " Ryuk finished

   " I-I...love you...Y/n. "

Then Light Yagami, Kira officially died.
