The Argument
Star Stood Up And Dusted The Skirt Of Her Dress Off, Slowly Walking Into Marco's Room. She Opened The Door And Looked Around. "Hey, Marco-" Star's Sentence Was Jumped By A Beaming Marco, Who Threw His Arms Over Her Shoulders And Squealed. "You're Literally Never, Ever Gonna Believe This!" He Smiled, Not Waiting For Her Response. "Jackie Lynn Thomas Just Asked Me Over On Thursday!" He Smiled Triumphantly, And Waited For Star To Answer Him.
She Said Nothing. An Expression Of Crushing Defeat Showered Over Her Face. "She. . .Did?" Star Tried Her Best Sounding The Happiest She Possibly Could, But She Knew In Her Heart That She Just Couldn't. Marco Took His Arms Off Her Shoulders And Stared At Her. "Don't Sound So Happy, Star." He Sounded Annoyed. Star Looked Up At Him, Crossing His Arms. "Hey, Don't Get Mad At Me. I'm Not The One At Fault In This Argument." She Scowled. Marco Shook His Head. "Tch, Yeah Right. What Are You, Jealous Or Something?" Star's Mouth Dropped Open, She Clenched Her Fists And Quipped Back At Him. "No. I'm Not Jealous Of Your Stupid Relationships. They're Dumb. Besides, They're More Important Than Anything Else, Right?!" Marco Finally Stopped Her, And Took His Hand, Flinging It Two Inches Next To Star, Knocking Over A Plastic Cup That Was Filled With Water. Star Backed Away, Scared, As Marco Stormed Closer To Her, Pointing His Finger In Her Face. "Yeah! It's More Important To Me Anyways! Don't Sound So Innocent! You've Gotta Be The Worst Friend Ever! You Should At Least Try And Sound Happy, Not Scowl At Me For Something Like This! You Know. . .I Forget. . .I Sometimes Forget That The Only Reason I Was Ever Your Friend Was Because No One Else Would Ever Seem Interested With You! You're Just A Girl Who Destroys Every-" He Stopped Mid-Sentence, Catching A Glimpse Of Star's Expression. She Was Completely Stunned. She Finally Regained Her Composure And Squeaked Out A Final Sentence. "Okay. . .Then If You Don't Need Me, Leave Me Alone For The Rest Of The Time I'm Here. And Don't Apologize. You Don't Mean It." She Showed Sadness In The Last Sentence Before Breaking Into Tears. And Then She Ran Out Of His Room. Marco Stood In His Doorway. He Sat On His Bed And Sighed Deeply, Burying His Face In His Hands.
"I'm So Stupid. . ."
