Harshad pulled away a minute later, cupping Kiara's small, round face in his large, rough hands. "I am sorry..." he apologised, sounding sincere.

"Aww... they are so adorable," Aditi muttered, leaning more into Dhruv's shoulder.

Aditi's comment made Kiara realise their position, and she moved backwards, putting a gap between them. Harshad had a sheepish smile as they walked out of the amusement park.

"I enjoyed the day with you," Avni confessed, making Harshad laugh.

"So, you approve of me?" Harshad questioned, making Avni stare at him in confusion.

"You hadn't approved my friendship with your friend on our first visit. You were very much suspicious about my existence. I hope, your doubts are cleared." Avni smiled at his statement.

"Agreed, I wasn't impressed by you on the first meet. I considered you as someone..."

"Over friendly? Creepy person?" Avni was going to justify but Harshad continued, "believe me I had heard worse."

"So, the statement is true. Never judge a book by its cover."

"Exactly! And don't you ever judge it with the first chapter as well." Harshad winked making Avni giggle, shaking her head in disbelief.

"I should be ready for more surprises?" Avni played along with him.

Yami and Kiara moved towards Harshad car to find them engrossed in a conversation. "He is never going to change." Commented Yami as they moved towards them after departing from their other friends.

Kiara glared at them, "Avni, Dhruv was waiting for you. Are you coming with us?" She inquired making Avni nervous. Avni avoided eye contact with Kiara. She wasn't planning to share Aditi's hostile attitude towards her. Not in front of Yami and Harshad.

"Maybe she wants to spend some time with me." Murmured Harshad, placing an arm around Avni's shoulder. "Don't be jealous of our friendship." Kiara glared in his direction.

"Why shouldn't I be jealous?" Kiara countered back; her hands folded around her chest. "My all friends are supporting you instead of me. You just owned them within a day." Kiara narrowed her eyes at Avni.

"I don't know about others Kiara but I will be always there for you," Yami said making Kiara raise her brow in question.

"Really? The view was different a few minutes back. You people were supporting him. Even you Avni," she stared at Avni in disbelief. "You had challenged him and still you were in his team." She pouted making Harshad stare at her in adoration.

Harshad was getting to witness a completely different side of Kiara. A lady that was far more shade than a workaholic colleague. The woman that had hidden child behind her reserved, mature spirit. The person standing before her was arguing with her friend on a silly topic while she hadn't voiced a word against Dhruv announcing to marry Aditi. She hadn't shown her displeasure.

"Kiara, you know I can't be ever against you. It was just that he met us for the first time. I didn't want him to be embarrassed in the crowd and maybe I desperately wanted you to try some rides." Avni made a sorry face as she reached for Kiara. "You're still my favourite person and none is going to change it."

"Not even your future life partner?" Kiara inquired making Avni giggle.

"I am not even aware if he is ever deciding to land in my life," Avni grumbled making the other laugh. "I am waiting so eagerly for him but seems like he has no interest. Should I try that dating app of yours?"

"I haven't even checked any notification from it," Kiara confessed making Avni giggle more.

"Which dating app?" Yami asked getting curious.

Avni was going to elaborate but Kiara interrupted her. "Nothing, important just another of my foolishness."

"Kiara, you are hiding things from me?" Yami accused her, Kiara whispered in her ear.

"I will narrate entire thing when we are alone." Yami nodded in agreement making Harshad stare at their exchange in suspiciousness.

"Oh! Attempting to hide things from me. I have no interest," he grumbled getting into the car and the rest followed him.

Harshad unlocked the car and leaned towards the passenger window. "Avni, you can seat in front as your dear friend have big problem seating next to me." Commented Harshad making the rest two giggle while Kiara glared in his direction. She opted to ignore his triggering weapon.

"You love annoying her, right?" Avni whispered as she slide into the passenger seat.

"Have to keenly observe her face when she gets annoyed. The way she rolls those set of orbs, her cheeks expand like balloons." Avni's eyes glanced at Kiara with the description going on.

Avni pulled her lip together to not burst into laughing and fume her anger more as she was curiously spying in their direction. "You were so accurate..." she giggled. "But why she is glaring in our direction?" Avni seemed confused with Kiara's attention.

"Because she feels I am trying to flirt with you and that's annoying her. She is hell possessive towards me." That was it, that was the limit Avni could muster.

"What the!" Avni laughed loud, leaning her head back as she grabbed her stomach. "You're really genius!" Avni was offering praises between her laugh making Kiara's brow knit in confusion.

"What had he done so wonderful?" Yami asked getting curious before Avni could attempt to answer her in between her laugh. Harshad answered Yami.

"Why should we share? You people like keeping secrets, right?" His orbs darted at Kiara for a minute before staring straight on the road.

"I heard someone was least interested in knowing about it. So, now why this mocking?" Kiara answered making Harshad smirk. He was aware her ignorance session would be short-lived.

"So, are you curious to know what I uttered? Are you interested in my talks?" Harshad twisted it with his amazing skill of language.

"I am not interested in your talks just concerned about my friend. She isn't aware that you go on flirty with every random girl on the street." She mocked back making Avni's eyes widen in surprise. She had never seen Kiara insulting someone in such a manner not even Dhruv.

"My reputation is much higher; I don't flirt with random girls. Only girls that appreciate my flirty skills and unfortunately not everyone can understand the talent I hold." Harshad muttered back making Kiara roll her eyes.

"Not even interested in your talents," she pushed her eyes towards the window.

"Maybe your friend is..." he pulled the trigger forcing her to glare at him again.

"She isn't as well..."

"But you should let her decide it," Harshad wasn't letting it slide away. He was enjoying Kiara's annoying state.

"Avni!" Kiara glared at her.

"Yes, Avni tell your friend that you don't mind having a friendship with me."

Avni stared at both of them in dilemma, "I don't make friends easily." She muttered making Kiara grin.

"Seriously, Avni?" Harshad stared at her in disbelief. "Stop getting scared of Kiara."

"It isn't fear but loyalty. You won't understand it, as you can't be loyal to your girlfriend." Kiara had unknowingly spoked the worse thing making the car go silent. Harshad face was rigid not giving a hint of the emotions he felt. Avni glanced at him for a minute and later decided to glance out of the window. The entire journey prevailed in silence until Avni's mansion came into view.

"You aren't coming, right?" Avni inquired, finding Dhruv's car wasn't parked inside. Dhruv had informed Avni that they were going to visit his mansion and have a conversation about the postponed engagement. Aditi had to reason it out with Atul as he was very pissed by Aditi's decision. They had very much to sort out so they were spending the night in their mansion.

"No, I will spend the night with my parents. If I go after a week and don't get some time alone with them it will displease them."

Avni nodded in agreement as she walked out, "good night everyone. Harshad and Yami, I am looking forward to meeting again." They both nodded faking a smile and soon Avni got inside her mansion Harshad drove the car to the next destination.

"Are you still planning to go back after a week?" Yami inquired sounding sad, "I thought maybe things were getting well between your friends."

Kiara slightly nodded her head, "it's not going to be easy. I need some time to grab myself..." she muttered while Yami nodded in understanding.

"Keep visiting me or I will come knocking on your cousin's door." Kiara smiled at Yami's warning. She was going to miss their presence after a week. So, she wished she could grab herself together. She wasn't hurting only herself but her friends as well with the distance.

Harshad hadn't voiced a word on the exchange making Kiara feel weird. She wasn't aware that unknowingly she had gotten used to his comment. His mock, his teasing but his silence was conveying to her that he was hurt by her comment. Maybe she crossed her limit. She wasn't someone to speak without thinking. She never humiliated or insulted anyone as she knew what a mere word could make someone feel. And yet she often had blabbered things to Harshad because she felt they shared such a bond. She had often said it in a fun way and even he had returned worse to her.

Harshad stopped the car in the parking lot, and a bunch of people were walking out of the office building. "Reach on time," Yami muttered getting out of the car.

Kiara waited for a minute long, determining whether to apologize or walk away. They shared a weird relationship, she wasn't sure if he would take the apology or mock back at her for it. She shook her head, walking out of the car without uttering a word. As Kiara walked towards her scooty, Harshad gaze was planted on her.

Harshad wasn't a guy to be affected by comments. As he had mentioned to Avni, he had faced the worse due to his nature. He had heard people judging him severely due to his friendly nature but their outlook on him never allowed him to change himself. He was way proud of himself to change for people that won't understand him. Kiara's word was nothing compared to the humiliation and revulsion he had faced in his life. Yet those words stabbed his heart, he wasn't able to mask a smile as he was used to.

Harshad eyes were intact on her as Yami greeted her bye as she started the engine of her scooty and drove to Harshad's car. "Good night, Harshad." She whispered glancing at his orbs fixed on Kiara. "She didn't mean a word and is filled with guilt for hurting you." Those words made Harshad avert his gaze from Kiara.

"I know..." Harshad muttered, shaking his head. "It's...just..." He wasn't able to bring words that could describe things going inside him.

"It's going to be difficult," Yami suggested. "At times you will feel like giving up just don't dare to do that. It's not going to be easy for anyone of you but you have to be the one to hold it tight. She has already lost her faith in herself, you need to pull her back." Yami assured him with a smile as she drove away.

Harshad shook his head, "this is a completely new territory for me, Yami." He muttered to himself, his eyes darting to Kiara. She was attempting to start the scooty but her frequent attempts went unanswered by her. "And this stubborn woman makes it extra difficult." He rolled his eyes at the stubborn lady before his eyes. A hint of a smile reached his lip on finding her cursing at the non-living creature.

The first encounter with her flashed back in his mind. The way she was expressing her annoyance on her stubborn laptop. The way her round, black orbs were shooting daggers at her lifeless laptop. Her nose blew in fury with her small, pink lip muttering curses under her breath. He had found that view so fascinating that he couldn't stop himself from walking to her. Her frustrated face had won his heart at that moment. He had developed an interest in a weirdo.

He walked out of the car having enough of her stubbornness. "Are you planning to spend the entire day over here?" He questioned walking to her and leaning on the bike parked beside hers.

Her gaze raised from the scooty, "you?" Kiara sounded surprised but she pulled herself together concentrating on her scooty.

"What do you mean by you?" Harshad rolled his eyes, "were you waiting for some other saviour? Maybe Dhruv?" That comment fumed Kiara and she glared in his direction.

"Stop getting obsessed with Dhruv," Kiara warned him making Harshad scowl at her.

"So, do you!" He growled, "stop obsessing over my girlfriend." He glared at her making her avoid his gaze.

Kiara kicked the scooty in another attempt but it wasn't helping her out. "Start! Up," she groaned not able to hold back her building frustration. Harshad intense gaze on her was further making her lose her patience.

"Are you done with ignoring me?" Harshad said after a few minutes of silence. "Kiara, stop acting stubborn and get into my car will drop you home."

"I am in no need of your help," Kiara grunted not glancing at Harshad and busy with kicking the scooty.

"Oh! So, your planning to spend a night in the darkest corner of the city." Harshad paused for a minute as he folded his hand around his chest, keenly observing the lady that was killing his patience. "Stop your dramas and get in the fucking car." He groaned at her on finding two random strangers strolling down the streets.

The building before them was locked as the employees had returned home. Darkness was slowly engulfing them and they were standing in the most deserted part of the city. Kiara was aware that it was a dangerous corner but she couldn't accept her defeat in front of Harshad. She wasn't ever a more competitive person but Harshad could trigger her to act one.

"What a gorgeous spirit to encounter?" One of the strangers commented as he was trying hard not to stumble on his legs. Kiara's eyes popped out of the socket as she heard those voices making her sweat in nervousness. She cautiously turned around and found two drunkards walking in her direction. She was cursing herself for her foolishness.

"The people you were waiting for, have finally arrived," mocked Harshad making Kiara narrow her eyes at him. "Hey, people!" He waved his hand, "she was waiting for so long." His comment made Kiara panic and she turned swiftly to face Harshad, he had a smirk on his face.

"Are you out of your mind? Why on the earth are you calling them?" She screamed walking toward Harshad in fear.

"What?" He acted innocent, "as you're planning to spend a night on the street. Don't you need a company?" His mischievous orbs were sparkling in the moonlight.

"You, idiot! Is this a time to joke?" Kiara was on the verge to punch him on his shoulder but Harshad grabbed her wrist had pulled her towards him.
