Sparring
Sero sighed as his phone dinged. "Sorry, guys. My agency needs me."
Kirishima and Kaminari booed as Mina chanted 'hero hero hero!'. Bakugou sighed, as he did genuinely enjoy Sero's company. The black haired man was a great hero and very trustworthy in Bakugou's eyes.
Mina sighed and kicked Kaminari's head. "We probably have to go too soon."
Kaminari whined. "Just stab me so I can get a vacation like Kiri."
Mina slapped him in the head. "Apologize!"
"I'm sorry that you were stabb-"
Kirishima shoved him to the ground and the two play fought, kicking and slapping one another. It went on for a few minutes until Kirishima took a pillow and covered Kaminari's face.
"Finally, he shut the f*ck up," Bakugou smirked.
A very muffled "I can hear you!" came from underneath the pillow.
Kirishima snickered as he kept the pillow on his friends face. "Next time I'll just let my friend die then!" He whacked Kaminari a few times before giving up and sitting next to Bakugou.
Bakugou unconsciously leaned into his red head friend, longing for his touch. Kirishima didn't seem to notice, and continued to chat with Mina and Kaminari.
"We should go to the new cafe down the road! I've heard it has amazing coffee!"
"The last thing you need is more energy, sh*tty hair," Bakugou answered.
"Would it be mean to go without Sero?" Kaminari asked.
"Yes! No man left behind!" Mina yelled.
Kirishima giggled. "Okay those will be our plans for tomorrow! Promise!" He grabbed Mina's pinky with his own.
"I'll take the burden of dragging him with us. I'm a master kidnapper." Kaminari pretended to be solemn.
"Remember that time when you put Kiri in a bag for his birthday but he actually thought you were gonna kidnap him?" Mina hung upside down on the couch.
"That was the hardest punch I've received in my life."
"That was f*cking funny," Bakugou added with a smirk.
"You just like seeing Kami in pain!" Kirishima teased.
Bakugou smirked and shrugged, not confirming or denying anything. Kaminari gasped in shock, as if it was a new revelation that he sometimes got on the explosive blonde's nerves.
Kirishima looked at his phone as he also got a notification. "Aw, shoot guys, Fat Gum needs me!" He smiled brightly at his friends. "Feel free to stay and annoy Bakubro!" He grabbed a small bag and waved as he headed out the door.
Mina punched Bakugou in the shoulder. "Confess already!"
"Yeah, Bakubro. You were staring at him all morning."
"I was not, dunce face!" Bakugou's face grew red as his friends continued to tease him.
"You're a coward for not saying something earlier!"
"Be a man an ask him out!" Kaminari agreed.
Bakugou grumbled as he shook his head. "I'm not a f*cking coward and I don't have to do anything if I don't want to."
"That's it! I'm texting him!" Mina grabbed her phone and was immediately tackled by Bakugou, who grabbed her phone and held it tightly.
"Do that and I f*cking blow you into the next goddamn galaxy."
"Awwwww, he's scared!" Kaminari chuckled.
"I'm not f*cking scared!" Bakugou was getting angrier by the second.
"He wouldn't reject you!" Mina pleaded and reached for her phone.
Bakugou threw it at her stomach. "No. You're not texting him that. You're never f*cking texting him that. And I hate you. And I hate the fact that I ever told you."
"Not her fault that you didn't lock the door while you were crying," Kaminari smirked.
Bakugou chased after him with an explosion ready in his hand.

Kirishima hummed to himself as he changed into his hero costume and went to visit Fat Gum. He set his phone in the locker, double checked he had all of his gear, and locked it.
Being as bright as always, Kirishima greeted everyone as he headed to Fat Gum's office. He gave everyone a bright smile. He knocked twice before entering, and flashed a bright, toothy smile at his mentor.
"Kiri! I'm so glad to see you're finally back to work!" The yellow hero smiled.
Kirishima nodded. "It feels great to be back!"
"Well, I'm giving you orders to try and stay away from this new gang as much as possible. New intel tells us their name is People Against Hero Society, or P.A.H.S."
"But it's my job to protect-" Kirishima started to protest.
"Yes, if somebody is in indefinite danger, you can help. But don't go searching for trouble. You're a target, according to what Bakugou told me, and he was adamant about keeping you safe."
Feelings conflicted inside of Kirishima. On one hand, he was excited that Bakugou cared about him enough to reach out to his boss. On the other hand, he was offended that Bakugou thought he couldn't take care of himself. Did the blonde think so lowly of him?
"We want you to patrol these areas," Fat Gum said as he handed his student a map. "Stay in touch, Tamaki is patrolling close to those areas so he'll be the closest available for help."
Kirishima nodded and complied. If there was one thing he knew was manly, it was picking which battles to fight. He would lay his life on the line without hesitation at any moment. Crimson Riot's words flowed through his mind as he returned the map and headed to the streets.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Not even a robbery or suspicious person was to be seen. His mind wandered as he strolled along the sidewalk. Why was he specifically a target? Did they see him as a threat? Or was it like when the League Of Villains kidnapped Bakugou, they wanted him in their ranks?
A fan pulled Kirishima out of his thoughts. He smiled and took a picture with him before continuing on his patrol. He headed back to the agency and grabbed his phone, texting his roommate.

Kirishima smiled rose himself. He would spar with Bakugou and ask him about his request. The red head believed one of the manliest things a person could do was go straight to the problem and not try to avoid it. He valued communication and reality with feelings and the relationships between one another. He admired Deku a lot for that reason.
Kirishima decided to head to the gym in his costume, as he hated changing into different clothes a lot. Another fan spotted him and ran up to him with a camera.
"Hi Mr Red Riot! I just wanted to tell you that you're an inspiration!" She smiled brightly.
Kirishima smiled back. "Thank you! It's people like you that help me become the best I can be!"
"Can I ask a question?" Kirishima nodded. "Do you have any insecurities? And how do you overcome them? I want to be a superhero too but I'm extremely self conscious." The girl became quiet.
Kirishima smiled and pointed to his arm. He hardened it before returning it to his normal state. "See my arm? I have stretch marks all over my body because of my quirk. I used to hate them, because I thought they made me look dumb. But I quickly realized it was my body showing me how well my quirk was working! Because of my stretch marks, I know that my quirk is working and that I've used it to save people! Insecurities suck, but if you view them in a different light, you'll learn to love yourself!"
The girl seemed close to tears as she launched herself at the hero, hugging him tightly. Kirishima chuckled slightly as he embraced his fan.
"Self love is healthy! Make sure you take care of yourself!" Kirishima smiled.
The girl nodded vigorously. "Thank you so much!" She waved and ran off, watching the recording on her phone.

Bakugou yelled as he kicked his gauntlets off of his wrists and threw them into his locker. His phone dinged and he grabbed it angrily, hitting on the twitter notification. He watched his best friend giving a speech about self love, but Bakugou just noticed how toned his muscles looked.
He shook his head and changed into his gym clothes before grabbing his bag and heading out. The gym was closer to his agency than it was to Kirishima's so he took his time and checked his phone while walking.
He scanned his card on the door of the gym, as it was especially made for heroes and required a membership for entry. He headed to the locker room to drop off his bag, noticing a few familiar faces. Testutestu stood out to him, and he watched as the silver haired man weight lifted.
The blonde couldn't stop himself from thinking of Kriishima when he saw the copy of him. He leaned his back against the wall and waited for his friend to show up. He had booked one of the sparring rooms so they were guaranteed a spot and time.
The red head, still wearing his hero costume, entered the gym and greeted the receptionist with a smile. He headed over to Bakugou and explained he was gonna change before they could spar. Bakugou only had to wait for five minutes before the read head was back in front of him.
Kirishima had tied his hair into a man bun, as he always feared it catching on fire. The sparring rooms at the gym were made to handle any sort of destructive quirk, so Bakugou was free to blast his friend into next week if he chose too.
"What's the winner get?" Kirishima smiled as he got into a fighting stance.
"I'll get bragging rights, like usual," Bakugou smirked and copied Kirishima's stance.
It was like clockwork. The two knew what the other was gonna do, so Kirishima hardened just as Bakugou sent an explosion at him. The red head usually ended up on the defensive first. He ran towards Bakugou, and at the last second, dropped to the floor underneath his friends legs and kicked them out from under him.
Bakugou cursed as he fell and sent an explosion in the direction of Kirishima, who hardened the wrong part of his body. He winced and readied himself again. He decided to continue his approach, and hardened his entire body as he punched Bakugou in the shoulder, catching him off balance.
Bakugou grabbed his friends arm and pulled him over his own shoulder, taking them both down with their weight. Kirishima, being on the bottom, took both of their weights as they crashed to the floor. He huffed and knocked Bakugou in the back, forcing the blonde off him.
Bakugou smirked as he held his right wrist with his left and fired a large explosion. Kirishima sucked and rolled out of the way, but the room was now covered in a thick layer of smoke that Bakugou had not accounted for.
Taking advantage of this, Kirishima snuck around to Bakugou's front. The blonde listened for any movements, but his friend had gotten quieter. He thought he heard a sound to his right and was ready to attack when something like a rock hit him in the chest and pinned him down.
Kirishima tackled Bakugou and smirked. "I win!" He declared. Kirishima's victories against Bakugou were rare, but they did happen.
"F*ck off and get the f*ck off of me," Bakugou snarled.
"Why would I when the view is so nice?" Kirishima teased and was met with an explosion to the head.
He huffed as he held down Bakugou's arms too.
"I have a question, blasty."
"Get off of me, sh*tty hair," Bakugou demanded.
"Why did you tell Fat Gum I couldn't handle the gang members?" He titled his head.
"I didn't f*cking say that."
"He told me you asked him to make sure I didn't engage them," Kirishima said. "Do you think I'm not strong enough?"
"That's not it at all, sh*tty hair." Bakugou was getting nervous. Kirishima was so close to him. Too close.
"Then what was it?"
"Get the hell off of me and I'll tell you."
Kirishima complied, standing up and then holding his hand out for the blonde. He pulled Bakugou up and crossed his arms over his chest, waiting.
"You're a target of theirs for some damn reason. I know you're f*cking capable, you're strong as f*ck, but who knows what they're capable of?" Bakugou looked at his friend. He wanted to say more, he wanted to tell him how much it would hurt if the red head went missing or was killed.
"But-"
"It's like when the league of villains took me, remember?" Kirishima nodded. "You knew I was capable, yet you jumped in to save me. Twice. So yeah. It's basically the same thing."
Kirishima hugged Bakugou tightly, smiling. "You care!"
"Tch. Whatever."
