{Harry's POV}

The airport was awfully crowded. Luckily not because of me. There were no fans or any paparazzi which was surprising.

Since the album was coming out in three days, people have been going crazy for the band. It was sometimes weird how violent people would get around the band, especially when we were all together.

If someone would have told me three years ago that all this would have happened I would have laughed in their face.

Three years ago me, Zayn and Louis were just lads that were messing around with a guitar and beats. We were just getting started. People thought we were a joke and we didn't take our music that serious. It was just for fun. Then James found us at a ColdPlay concert that we were at. He had seen one of our videos online and liked us.

Three years later and we're about to headline our own tour. Cailin had joined our band but I didn't like to think that she helped the band. She was just a small part of it, if that.

The airport gate opened and my eyes began to search the crowd. Most of the people coming out were business men and women. There was group of Asian tourists that were taking pictures of pretty much everything. Strangely enough we were still inside the airport baggage claim.

After a couple of minutes, I finally saw the blonde headed girl I had come here for. She caught my eyes and ran towards me. As she reached me, she jumped into my arms and held on as tight as I did. We spent about a minute just hugging. God I missed her.

She pulled away and looked at me.

" don't get used to those big hugs" my sister teased.

" you wish Jess" I teased back.

I hadn't seen Jess in almost six months. Mainly because I was always traveling because of the band and she had just finished school.

Jess was 2 years younger than me, 18, but still acted like a fifteen year old. But I couldn't say anything because I acted the same way sometimes.

When we were younger, we didn't get along at all but as things changed so did we. After all, all we had to hold on to was each other.

" so how's Lia?" Jess asked.

" great, she's at the apartment right now actually" I nodded grabbing her luggage as she pointed it out.

" perfect" she mumbled making me chuckle.

Lia had met Jess about a year and a half ago when we were still just friends. They got along great in the beginning, even when Lia and I were still fake dating. But as soon as Jess found out that we were dating for real, she started hating Lia.

Jess didn't agree with me dating Lia. She kept saying that we weren't right for each other. Then again, in Jess's eyes no one was ever good enough. Of course Lia noticed but she didn't say anything, I guess because she didn't like confrontation. So now Lia and Jess only spoke when they had to. Usually only hellos and goodbyes.

I opened my apartment door and the first person I saw was Lia sitting on the couch with her phone in hand. She looked up at smiled at me but her smiling gradually faded as she saw Jess right behind me.

" hi Jess" Lia said sounding neutral.

" hi" was all Jess said before taking a seat on one of the chairs on the island.

" do you two wanna go out tonight? I asked with a chuckle knowing what their response would be.

Jess gave a glare and Lia rolled her eyes.

" I'll take that as a no" I smirked.

" you think?" Jess scoffed as Lia went back to look at her phone.

" are the guys here?" I asked Lia.

" Louis' s in his room, Zayn went out on a date and Cailin's about to go on a date too" Lia said after looking up at me again.

Cailin was gonna go out with that prick, Carter Dane. Was the only one who saw that he was bad news? I was no angel but Carter was even worse. I didn't pretend to be the good guy, he did.

Carter was nothing but but a douche.

All of a sudden, one of the bedroom doors opened making us all look towards that direction. Cailin walked out glowing with her smile causing me to swallow dry.

She was dressed in tight black shorts and a long sleeved blue lace shirt. Her cleavage was semi covered with lace but you could see it pretty clearly. Her black heels made her legs run for miles.

Suddenly her eyes met mine and something in her eyed changed. As if she hadn't expected to see me tonight. Usually, if we weren't working we weren't even around each other anymore. I didn't blame her though. In a way, it was better that way. She knew that there was no way I was going to break up with Lia.

I'll admit that it crossed my mind but it wasn't an option. Lia and Jess were the ones I trusted most in life and I knew that if I broke up with Lia, I would loose her.

" you must be Cailin" Jess smiled getting off the high chair.

Cailin smiled back and tilted her head. Then I realized Cailin didn't know who she was. I didn't really talk about Jess much since I didn't talk about my life to her. Some people knew I had a sister but she wasn't really the type to get on tabloids or point out that she was my sister.

" I'm Jess, Harry's sister" Jess introduced herself.

" I didn't know he had sister" Cailin said.

" thanks for acknowledging my existence bro" Jess glared with a playful smirk on her face.

" you're welcome" I smirked back.

" well it's nice to meet you anyway" Cailin smiled at my sister.

Just then there was a knock at the door.

" that must be him" Lia giggled.

Cailin's face lit up with a smile and started to walk towards the door. Why the hell was Lia so happy about Cailin's date with Carter. Lia knew I hated this kid and still Lia was friends with him. I understood that they were filming a movie together but still, couldn't they keep it professional and just talk at work?

Cailin opened the door to greet Carter and got out as fast as she could. She didn't want him to talk to me. She knew I hated him and wanted to avoid conflict. Cailin didn't want me to ruin her night like I had so many nights before.

Something about them together made me cringe. He didn't deserve her. She deserved someone better.

" so what do you two have planned for the night?" Lia asked.

" strip club" Jess smiled at Lia. I couldn't help but laugh. Jess knew exactly how to get to Lia and never failed. It didn't bother me, mostly because Lia was never the type to have a comeback.

Lia rolled her eyes and then looked directly at me

" don't worry, we're just gonna watch a movie on netflix or something" I said to her.

" don't lie to the poor girl" Jess continued.

Lia sighed and picked up her bag off the counter.

" leaving so soon?" Jess fake pouted.

" I'll see you tomorrow babe" Lia said before pecking me on the lips and then leaving.

As soon ad Lia shut the door, Jess plopped herself on the couch and stared up at me.

" what?" I asked.

"when are you going to dump her?" Jess questioned.

I rolled my eyes and sat myself down right next to her. Jess didn't understand why I kept Lia around. She knew that I didn't feel the same why that Lia did so I guess that's what bothered her the most. She somehow thought Lia was the one that was holding me back from really falling in love. But in reality, I was the one holding back Lia.

" so what's up with you and the brunette?" she asked as I pressed play on a random movie on netflix.

My mind immediately went to Cailin. That smile she had when she had walked out of her bedroom made forget everything around me, including Lia.

" stop imagining things Jess" I mumbled.

" please, I could smell the sexual tension between you two from miles away. I don't know how Lia didn't notice, then again maybe she did" Jess shrugged.

" you think she noticed?" I turned to Jess.

" HA! There is something between you two!" Jess pointed at me with a smirk.

Shit.

I shouldn't have said anything, especially around Jess.

" tell me Harry!" Jess demanded.

The thing with Jess was that she always got her way. No matter what it was, objects or answers. There never saying no to her.

" there's nothing between us, at least not anymore" I confessed.

Jess stayed quiet waiting for me to continue and I did.

{Cailin's POV}

" I hope you had a good night" he smiled.

Carter had been everything and more that I had imagined. A fun guy and a complete gentleman.

" I had the best time" I smiled back.

He had taken me to Dave and Buster's, one of my favorite places to go. It was awkward at all, much better than an old fashion dinner.

Carter parked his car in front of my apartment complex and got out of the car. Before I could open my own door, Carter had already opened it for me.

" what a gentleman" I teased.

" no other way" he smiled.

After closing the door behind me, Carter wrapped his hand around mine. His hand was warm and soft, comforting in a way.

In the corner of my eye, I could see a couple of flashes. Surprisingly Carter didn't pull his hand away from mine. It was quite the opposite, his hand tighten against mine. That small gesture made me smile like an idiot.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, Lia was the first thing in sight. Her eyes were red and puffy. Tear stains were placed upon her face. The expression she gave me was as if she didn't even know me. Then she took a look at Carter and traveled her eyes down to our hands entwined.

Lia pushed past Carter and I and ran towards the lobby bathroom. Before Carter could say anything I stopped him.

" I should go see what that was about" I said pulling us away from the elevators.

" I'll see you tomorrow right?" he asked.

" of course" I smiled.

Slowly Carter gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the lobby. I would have expected at least a peck on the lips hut due to some people with camera phones, I fully understand and mentally thanked him.

I made my way through the lobby and into the bathroom. Lia wasn't against the bathroom sink with her arms. Her head down and crying. I had seen Lia cry but never this much.

" Lia?" I said as I locked the door behind me.

She didn't respond. I walked closer over to her until I was right in front of her. I could already imagined what happened. She and Harry must have had a fight once again. But it still didn't explain why she was crying so much.

" what happened?" I asked putting my hand on her shoulder.

Immediately she shook my hand off and turned to face me. The look in her eyes made me worry on what she was gonna do next.

" how dare you?" she said.

" what's going on?" I asked still not understanding what was going on.

" don't play stupid like you've been treating me all this time!" Lia shouted.

No..

" how could you have done this to me Cailin? I let you into my life and this is what I get? Why couldn't you have just said something? Actually you shouldn't have said anything! You should have just kept your legs shut!" She yelled.

A sharp pain came from my cheek. Only then did I realize that Lia had just slapped me across the face.

Lia knew... she knew everything. I couldn't react. I couldn't say or do anything.

" how could I be so stupid?" Lia cried.

" Lia.." I somehow managed to say to her.

" why would you do that to me Cailin?" she continued to cry.

I couldn't answered. Hell, I didn't even know the answer.

" so he decided to tell you?" I asked.

" I overheard him" Lia shook her head.

" did you say anything to him?" I asked panic rushing through me.

" I broke up with him" she said looking up at me.

Holy shit.

My legs immediately carried me out of the bathroom and towards the stairs. I wouldn't have had the patience to wait for the elevator so running up the five floors seemed like a better choice.

As I got to the apartment door, I saw that the door was slightly opened. I could hear things being thrown around and breaking.

I walked in to see that Harry was the one doing all of it. Jess was standing away from him just watching all of his anger unravel. Louis was standing in the corner with a shocked expression across his face.

" Harry..." I said sounding more like a whisper.

" this is all your fault!" he yelled marching over to me. I flinched as he got in front of me.

" stop..." I begged looking down to the ground.

" if you never joined the band, this would have never happened and Lia would have never broken up with me!" he continued to shout as he pointed his finger to me.

" we slept together before I joined the band, remember that" I said as a tear streamed down my face.

He took the vase beside me and threw it to the ground breaking it into a million pieces. I closed my eyes wishing this wasn't happening.

" I hate you" he said in a lower tone.

I opened my eyes and looked at him. Pure hatred was all I saw in his eyes. Before I could starting bawling my eyes out, I started to walk towards my room past Louis and Jess.

" you're just for show Cailin, nothing else" Harry spat.

Those words continued to echo through my mind as I entered my room.
