San entered the locker room shortly after Wooyoung and everyone else looked up at him.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing... Get changed. We're about to leave," said Hongjoong, but San felt Yunho's gaze on him.
"What's up, Yunho?"
"Did you have sex?" - "Please what?" San squeaked angrily and ran past Yunho, panting. "No way in hell. Besides, I'm dating Yoohyeon... If I did, I'd sleep with her!" Yunho, who followed San, laughed softly. "Sure... San why are you denying this? Any blind man can see how you behave towards Wooyoung. What are you so afraid of? None of us have a problem with your sexuality, whether you're gay, bi or whatever. And your family has always supported you. They've always been there. I hardly think they'd mind. They love Wooyoung," Yunho said in a rage. "Stop it Yunho. I'm straight. I'm dating Yoohyeon."
"San please. You're hurting Wooyoung with your dismissive behavior!" Silence in the entire room. Everyone looked at the two of them. Confused and worried, but Wooyoung was the only one whose eyes were watery.
Annoyed, San turned away and changed his clothes. "S-sannie, don't listen to Yunho. You're not hurting me," he said with a smile. San nodded. He could tell from Wooyoung's expression that it wasn't true. He only said it so that San wouldn't have to feel bad.
"Wooyoung, please. Stop fooling yourself. He's hurting you, even if he doesn't realize it," Yunho whispered to him and Wooyoung pushed him away, annoyed. "I know what's good for me and what's not."
Sighing, Yunho went to Mingi, who pulled him into his arms and hugged him. San bit his lip. It could have been him and Wooyoung. But what was he so afraid of?
"Sannie!"
San turned to the sweet voice. It was Haerin. His girlfriend.
"Yes?" - "Can I come to your place after school today? Then I can meet your parents! And we can spend some time together, you know!"
"Um, sure. Why not?" said San, taken by surprise. After school, San officially introduced his girlfriend. They had been together for two months now. What neither of them knew was that this relationship would soon end due to San's career path. But not only because San probably had a much deeper problem with the relationship than they thought.
His parents loved Haerin. Whenever she was there, she was warmly welcomed. Her favorite meal was made or sometimes they did something together. But on one particular day, San realized that something wasn't right. That the things his friends had talked about had never happened in their relationship. Nor had San shown such an interest that it should happen. He was always a little more dismissive of the subject. But he had never thought about it.
Sexual activities. It was always just kissing or cuddling.
But he never got it up with her either.
"How have you not laid her yet? She's so fucking hot. What are you waiting for San?"
"You're not gay, are you? That would be disgusting. Go sleep with her!"
He heard things like that day in, day out. Even Haerin said things like that. "Sannie, why don't we ever go one step further? Why haven't you ever gotten hard?" She looked rather disappointed.
"I-I don't know..."
Uncomfortable, he lay in his bed one evening. Watched porn. But that didn't necessarily help either. Was he really into the opposite sex?
But he didn't want to disappoint anyone. Not his friends, girlfriend or parents. He didn't want to lose his friends. His parents liked Haerin so much and he liked her too, but why was there a problem with this?
"Eomma, Appa. What would you say if I broke up with Haerin?"
"What? Why? You two got on so well?"
"I don't feel.... interest in her," San breathed gloomily, biting his lip.
"But San, she's such a pretty girl, maybe-"
"Besides, I want to be an idol!" San interrupted his mother's sentence because she just didn't understand. Didn't understand him.
"Isn't the school choir enough for the young man?" His father laughed and tousled his hair.
So the relationship was over. His parents probably had doubts about the dancing, but if San could already do some Taekwondo choreography, he should be able to dance too.
After San was accepted as a trainee, he told Haerin and broke up with her.
"Great, I would have broken up with you sooner or later anyway. Disgusting cocksucker."
"W-what?" San looked confusedly at Haerin.
"Why else wouldn't you get hard with me? I hope you choke on it. Dirty faggot."
Disgusting cocksucker. Dirty faggot....
San wasn't even aware of his sexuality. And of course this rumor went around his school, but he soon changed schools anyway and started as a trainee.
His parents mourned Haerin's absence and also heard the rumor from his older sister. But they never asked about it. As if they simply didn't care. As if they didn't care about his feelings. His sister never teased him about it either, which surprised him, but soon he wasn't home much anyway.
"Sannie?"
"Haerin?" -" Who's that?" San heard Wooyoung's annoyed tone. "Oh eh.... It's okay. M-my ex."
"Hm. Are you ready?"
"Yes, we can go..." San sighed. "Where were your thoughts? With your ex?" Wooyoung asked, annoyed, as something fell on the floor next to him. Wooyoung's stylist apologized and picked the things up again.
"Yes... She's the reason...."
"What for?" Wooyoung asked curiously, while the stylist looked at San and he shook his head uncomfortably. "Anyway, let's go, Jagiya."

I just added a random background for San. It won't be like that in real life 💯, but we need some character depth and development and in the end it's just a FF and serves as entertainment 😊
And sorry if there are a few mistakes, my English isn't the best xD
