After Keith leaves for the Blades, the team barely knows much about how he is - except Lance.

Like, crazy and random stuff too

Shiro: "how do you think Keith's doing?"

Pidge and Hunk: "I don't know, we don't get to message him much."

Lance: "oh, he feels tiny against the other Galra but kick all their asses. Also, he has been suffering from a migraine and nearly threw hands with a seven year old that was three times his size."

Shiro: "... okay then."

Then there's Keith, who can't stop c̴r̴y̴i̴n̴g̴ talking about Lance to the blade members.

They know nearly everything about Lance, and all Lance knows about them is they make Keith feel smol

They have weird greetings, and mushy nicknames to say when they answer a video chat

"Hey Lancey." "Hey Keef."

Lance and Keith sending things back and forth

Lance accidentally packed his jacket in a box and sent it to Keith.

Keith gets it and just smells it, moans, and hugs the overwhelming scent of his c̴r̴u̴s̴h̴ f̴r̴i̴e̴n̴d̴ Lance

Lance calls later only to be shocked at the sight of Keith wearing his jacket, but doesn't make him take it off.

A few Quintants and a video call later Lance is seen wearing Keith's jacket at all times.

The awkward questions they get because of it...

Shiro: "you and my baby bro?"Lance: "no...?"

Kroila: "so, that Lance boy. You chose him to be your mate?" Keith: "uhh, not really?"

Then, when it's Keith's birthday, he gets to see the team face to face Shiro smiles and Hunk gives him a side hug.

Keith doesn't care that much, his eyes are searching frantically for Lance

The rest of the team, decided it would be a surprise for Lance as well.

(Mwahaha)

Shiro calls Lance in quietly, both boys unsure what's going on. Keith dropped his knife and went wide eyed when he heard Lance gasp though.

2 screams, one tears eyed boy, and a tackle later; the boys are still clinging to one another

Keith: "Hi Lancey."Lance: *teary laugh* "Hey Keef."

The others wait for a few ticks before realizing they won't be letting go of one another anytime soon.

It takes them forever to admit their crushes on one another

Keith didnt talk for minutes and retreating to his room for a few days, afraid he'd ruin their friendship

Lance talking about Keith in Spanish everyday telling him his feelings, but never saying a word in English

The two slowly build back up their friendship after the crush delema.

Lance and Keith have movie nights for days.Keith wasn't okay with cuddling until a few movie nights in a row

Keith was always spooned by Lance, hands wrapped around his waist

Sleeping in each other's beds when they were tired after their late night talks

Keith might as well be bunking with Lance for how much time he spends there

Lance reveals insecurities when he is super tired, but Keith is a hyper bean

Keith helps him through the insecurities though Lance: "I think I'm replaceable in this team. I have no role, no niche." Keith: *shakes his head* "no, no, nope. Not allowed. We're gonna run around the lounge a few times or I'll tickle you to death.

Keith then has to go back to the blade a few Quintants later.

The jackets go back to their owner, both promising to give it back to the other when it smells like them again.

Hunk eventually asks Lance why he's so down after Keith leaves.

Lance admits his crush on Keith and shrugs pitifully, clutching his jacket

Hunk decided to tell the others, and set Klance up.

Shiro gathers Keith and Hunk gets Lance.

Pidge talked to the Blade members and mentioned their obvious love and they whole heartedly kicked Keith out for the time being.

Keith is sent back and told he is "suspended" from the blade, it nearly ruins him.

None of the others expected Keith to arrive in the Castle as depressed as he was.

Lance was there to greet him first

When asked why he is back, Keith puts his forehead on Lance's shoulder.

Lance takes them to a quieter place, feeling tears from Keith.

Keith: "I was suspended"Lance: "What?! Why?"Keith: *shrugs and whimpers*Lance: *wraps arm around him* You'll be okay. What about a movie night, cuddles this time? Keith: *cracks a smile* "The only good thing about this is that I can be with you more." Lance: "yes it is, rival." Keith: *rolls his eyes but still smiling*

The plan the others made didn't work however.

Never even got started, once Keith and Lance are cuddling, there is nothing that matters more than that.

Kisses on the cheek and forehead came frequently after Lance accident kissed Keith's forehead after a successful mission

Lance goes on a mission and brings Keith flowers.

Spends the rest of the day running the flowers and his fingers through Keith's hair.

Finally, one of the movie nights changed everything.

Keith: "Lance?" *pokes him*Lance: *chuckles and pokes Keith* "Yeah?"Keith: I think I'm in love with my best friend. Lance: *flabbergasted* YOURE IN LOVE WITH SHIRO?!" Keith: *sighs and kisses Lance's cheek* You, I'm in love with you, idiot.

Lance.exe has stopped working

Keith is actually better at pick up lines than Lance and uses them all the time.

Lance blushes like he's on fire and does a small, whiney "babbbeee!!"

Keith relishes in this.

Keith learns Lance's skin care routine and does it if Lance falls asleep without remembering to wash the space ingredients off his face.

Keith is an amazing cook. When Hunk was out because of a cold, Keith whipped up 2 days worth of food that everyone loved.

Lance nearly had a nosebleed when he saw Keith in an apron.

Shiro makes sure to watch out for Keith, but the minute he saw Lance calm Keith down during a small, stress induced breakdown, he stopped being protective.

The minute that Keith showed up in his room, gushing about some knife he saw at the space mall, letting his hair (which had grown longer) down his shoulders and barely stop to breath -Lance knew Keith was The One TM

Lance braiding Keith's hair before training each morning.

Lance persuading Keith to have him do his makeup. Pidge does a double take when they see Keith with a bold red lip and several small braids in his hair.

One time an alien decided to insult Lance in front of the other paladins. Before Hunk could say something, or Shiro try and defuse the situation, Keith tackled them. He screamed about "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT ABOUT MY BOYFRIEND" and "LANCE IS PERFECT EVEN IF HE WEARS COLD LUMPY MAKEUP MASKS AND HAS A FLAT ASS." During that fight was the first time Lance had heard Keith say "I love you" to him.

Also during this fight, Shiro did a double take. He had only heard Keith say "I love you" to two people, himself and his dad. And he had known Keith since he was six.

After said fight, while being patched up by Lance, Keith had constantly tried to reassure him that the alien was stupid and didn't know what they were saying.

Lance just looked at him with his busted lip, black eye, and bloody nose and went "I love you too, jackass."

Keith might not look like it, but he loves soft nicknames.

Lance once called Keith "babydoll" and he cried in the bathroom for a solid two hours.

Keith loves PDA but doesn't know how to initiate it. This has led Lance to swing him over his shoulder and carry him bridal style, make a big show of kissing him, and pull him into his lap every time they sit down.

Keith relishes in it.

When they got back to Earth, the moment Lance saw his family he ran to them, dragging Keith by his wrist the entire way.

Keith quickly gets overwhelmed by the amount of people, but Lance holds his hand the entire time.

Mrs. McClain takes an instant liking to Keith, as does Lance's youngest nephew.

One time, Keith was babysitting for the family and he built a blanket fort with said nephew, Jesus. Lance came in, melted by the scene of Keith and Jesus eating popcorn in their fort. Keith would have Jesus throw the popcorn in the air and have him catch it. Jesus was captivated and thought it was the best thing ever every time.

Mrs. McClain has a photo album of family photos, several photos include Keith.

The two move in together into a small apartment.

Lance breaks the shower and Keith manages to start three fires within the first week.

One day, when the entire family was over for a get together, Celia (Lance's niece), loudly asks how "Uncle Keef"s wedding was with her Uncle Lance. The adults laughed and joked about it, an older brother nudging Lance and winking with a sly smirk.

Lance just goes, "well, it's in the future so we don't know yet."

Keith is blushing and trying to stammer out a response. It doesn't help when there are still a few giggles from the peanut gallery.

It all went silent as Lance decided to pull a box from his pocket and get down in one knee in front of the chair Keith was sitting in.

"What do you say, Mullet, will you marry me?"

Shiro was recording in the mix of the crowd, unknown to Keith, and it was being live-streamed to Pidge, Kroila, and Hunk.

Keith is so pleasantly startled that he kicks Lance in the face while awkwardly screaming yes with this wide ass smile (Lance later declares the bloody nose and shoe print on his face totally worth getting to marry Mullet-head).

The minute Keith sees Lance holding the newest McClain, his newborn nephew, he thinks ' I want this man's babies. '

A few days after the team got back to Earth, Keith says to Lance "I think you should meet my family." Lance goes along with it, and Keith buys some flowers on the way. Lance assumes they are for his parents, his step-mom or some woman figure in his life. He is shocked when Keith makes a turn and parks at a cemetery.

Keith brings him to a grave marked "Texas Kogane, 1978-2023." With tears in his eyes, Keith kneels at the grave and goes "hey dad, I've missed you... there's someone I want you to meet. Dad... this is my boyfriend, Lance." Lance cries right there.

Lance goes to Texas' grave when he gets engaged to Keith. He sits in front of the gravestone and goes "I want to marry your son. I asked and he said yes, and outside there was this ray of sunshine. Thanks for your support... I want to make your son the happiest man in the world."

Unknown to Keith, Lance brings flowers to Texas' grave every few months and updates him on their lives. It's to the point were the graveyard workers recognize him and greet him when he comes over.

Pidge, for the wedding, gave an awesome speech that made Allura tear up. Lance punched her in the shoulder for giving "such a cheesy speech." Pidge didn't mention the tears in Lance's eyes.

Hunk and Shiro were the best men and Allura and Pidge were grooms-maids. Coran decided to officiate the ceremony.

One time Lance was singing in the shower and Keith casually joined, making the song a duet as he shaved his face. It becomes a morning tradition, Keith casually joining in a shower duet when he gets ready in the morning.

Lance made Keith a mug wrack after the man showed up with a new mug every time he left the home without Lance.

Their first apartment had a spider problem and it was Keith who was tasked to kill them as Lance screeched at unearthy hours.

Kosmo brings home a kitten one day, a month or so after their wedding. Lance persuades Keith to keep it and then finds that the cat adores Keith. Whenever there is a fight, Lance puts the cat in Keith's arms. It's hard to stay mad with a cat in your arms.

The cat, who was later known as Cuddles, once put a dead bird on a sleeping Lance's face.

The topic of kids was brought on about six months into marriage. Lance says he would love them, Keith doesn't know if he'd be a good dad, but he trusted Lance's judgement entirely.

They decide to wait a bit and think about it.

One day, Celia decided that she was done with her parents and declared that she wants Keith and Lance to be her new dads. The face of Keith when she called him Papa was both priceless and adorable.

Keith then decided there and then that he wanted kids and the two decided to try surrogacy. Rachel volunteered to carry for them and they began the process. They started in October.

That December, during Christmas, the entire was family at the McClain parent's house. Rachel gave the couple a gift wrapped in golden paper.

Lance opened it and Keith had opened the card on top. In the card there was a sonogram, and in the box were three onesies. They said "I love my 2 daddies," "My dad is prettier than your dad," and "Daddy has enough knives for all of us."

The early morning of July 15th the couple welcomed a pair beautiful baby girls, Reyna Elizabeth McClain-Kogane and Isabel Maria McClain-Kogane. Reyna took after Lance's side of the family, and Isabel looks like a mini Keith with tanner skin.

Keith is the helicopter parents and Lance documents everything that happens to the twins.

Reyna talks first but Isabel walks before her.

Keith loves his daughters, Lance adores them with every fiber of his being.

When "Aunt Pidge" and "Uncle Matt" babysat the twins when they were two, Keith recreated their first date and Lance spent the time playing the guitar and singing cheesy love songs. That was their 3rd wedding anniversary.

Lance makes the best pies. Every Thanksgiving the group eat little and gouge on Lance's pies.

When Isabel decided she didn't want her training wheels on her bike, Lance was there riding Reyna's bike (without the wheels momentarily) with a My Little Pony helmet on. The two attempted to ride without training wheels down the drive way.

Keith laughs when Lance falls over on the bike and Reyna easily got ahead of him.

Once Keith got a big scratch on his face and Lance and the girls played doctor. He had three hello kitty band-aids plastered on his face.

Keith likes to drop chocolate in Lance's clean laundry. Small, bite-sized pieces of twix and snickers always appear on top of folded clothing.

Lance cannot do dishes for the life of him.

Keith brings the girls to Dairy Queen every Friday after school. He orders what they ask (usually the newest blizzard flavor) and pull up to the window. Then he pulls up further and hands his daughters the correct amount of cash to pay for the order. He smiles after while the girls claim that they are "so grown up!"

The two decided to adopt when the girls were 6. It took over a year and a half, but they soon had a nine year old boy named Victor Alexander McClain-Kogane.

Victor tried not to call Keith or Lance his dads, for fear of loosing the memories or dishonoring his late father. He told them this one night, in tears, because he accidentally told one of his friends that they were his parents.

Keith just smiled and rubbed his thumbs against his hands. Lance was at a loss for words.

"I get it, it was hard for me too... when my dad died. It's okay, you can call us whatever you want. I didn't know your mom or dad, but if they were anything like mine, they'd want you to be as happy as you could be. Even if you called some other people your parents instead."

The next morning Victor greets Lance with a casual "Hey papi."

Keith denies crying when Victor called him his dad, but Pidge has the video evidence.

Isabel takes to painting Keith's nails when he comes home from work. Lance likes to watch them for a bit, hearing his daughter giggle as Keith gets his nails painted hot pink and a baby blue color.

Victor and Reyna make a club and have an elaborate handshake.

When Reyna was in trouble in school for fighting a kid, Lance's first question was "what happened?!" While Keith merely looked at his daughter, her bloodied knuckles, and smirked while asking "did you win?"

When Cuddles died from being hit by a semi, Victor created a gravestone. In the garden the girls planted flowers in Cuddles' memory. The funeral was on a Sunday and the entire household came to say their goodbyes.

Lance pulled out Reyna's first tooth with floss connected to a rocket.

Victor played the violin, and when his friend teased him for picking a "girly instrument" he hit him over the head with the violin case.

When Keith learned of Isabel's crush on a classmate, he would tell her the weirdest dating stories he could think of that he and Lance had done. This included, but was not limited to, breaking into the mall and playing bowling with watermelons and milk cartons, going to an animal shelter and releasing the dogs into the store, and having a dance party during a diplomatic meeting.

When Victor turned 11, and the twins were just shy of 9, they had a small party with family and a few friends. During the party Keith taught the family how to effectively jump a fence.

Reyna decided to help Isabel cut her hair. This ended in a quick stop to the hair stylist and Lace affectionately referring to her as Pixie, just as he referred to Keith as Mullet.

Hunk takes the kiddos on casual dinner dates. Complete with home-cooked meals by him, and Disney movies.

Once, as a gag gift, Allura purchased Lance glow in the dark condoms. Keith banned them from the bedroom after a night of having a husband with a glow in the dark dick.

Allura frequently visits and constantly told the couple that "if you want one more, I would be more than happy to offer myself."

They take her up on that offer after a long discussion of what this would mean for all of them and how the process would work.

Sophia Aracelis McClain-Kogane is born when the twins are 10 and Victor was nearing 12.

Isabel babies Sophia and Lance thinks its the cutest thing.

Victor takes it upon himself to get into honors classes when starting middle school. Lance places a stereotypical "MY CHILD IS A STUDENT AT ___ AND I AM VERY PROUD" as well as "MY CHILD IS AN HONORS STUDENT AT ___."

Sophia opens her eyes to Keith and only Keith for months.

When Hunk had children, they had play dates with the McClain-Kogane bunch.

Shiro holds barbecues at his house every 4th of July.

Lance is an extreme couponner. He likes to cut them out of magazines and newspapers. Victor joined in on the act and it is now a father and son activity for them.

Keith brought home three puppies and Lance let him keep them purely because each kid fell in love with them (Sophia even babbles "doggy!" each time she was near them).

The dogs were named Waffles, Peaches, and Mochi.
