JUST CREEPIN'
A'JOURIE MONTGOMERY
AUGUST 2nd, FRIDAY AFTERNOON
"I WISH WE could take them on walks now or sum." Bam spoke walking into he and Jourie's shared room holding both of the awake twins who had just been fed.
Jourie glanced up from her vanity since she was doing her light beat of makeup.
"Bam how many times do I have to tell you to stop holding my babies like that." She frowned. "I don't understand what's wrong with dads that do that." She shook her head at him.
He had both of them resting on each of his forearms with his large palms holding up the front side of their bodies. "Mmcht I got them, they ain't going no where." He swore.
Jourie shrugged her shoulders because one thing about that exact grip was the father never ever dropped the baby. It was probably the most secure and comfortable position he could have them in.
Maybe she was just a little more worried for him since he was doing it with two children instead of one child, then again she had great faith in him.
"Aight I'm going back down stairs before Sahid steal something." He announced to her, having no real reason to actually be in the room. He had just came to check on her since she was taking so long with her make up.
"Alright come give me a kiss first or you can sleep in the guest room." She said with a straight face as if it were normal. He laughed slightly, swaggering over to her vanity.
Keeping his babies in a tight grip, he leaned down and kissed the girl on her lips. "Give them one too or you weird." He joked referring to the twins.
She happily obliged, and stopped her motions. Turning her neck to the side she grabbed their hands and kissed both of them. She was trying her best not to kiss them on the face because they were so young, like kamaria and Kourtney warned her, but sometimes they were just too precious to refrain.
"Aight, hurry up mama." Was the last thing Bam said before he made his way out of the master bedroom and the down the carpeted stair case.
"Attitude." Samaria called out towards Sahid, and Bam laughed slightly when his cousin rolled his eyes at the camera—or he did what his impression of rolling his eyes were. "Now walk off." Samaria hyped him up as he walked out the camera.
"Y'all are so pathetic." Samir shook his head like he had been doing it since Samaria convinced Kymani, Yaya, Sahid, Kyree, and Kyaire to do the funny trend.
"Bam come do it too." Samaria waved him over, and a mug spread across his face.
He shook his head and his dreads shook in sync while he held the twins who were just looking around. "You got me fucked up lil girl." He spat, and she gasped at his choice of words
"Why daddy said that same exact thing? Y'all are so twins." She didn't even acknowledge his stink attitude. She saved the video to her drafts, while Bam sat next to his father.
"Let me see one." Samir glanced up from his phone to look at the twins who were beginning to make some noise since it wasn't necessarily quiet around them.
"Which one?" Bam asked even though he didn't want to. He didn't know how much he needed to stress that he didn't want to share, but it was getting old.
He took advice from the parents every once in a while but in his opinion he didn't need help. He was a first time father, so there was no better time to learn than the present.
It wasn't like he had to go to work everyday or anything like that. He made money in his sleep, therefore all his time and dedication went to the twins. Unfortunately, everybody else seemed to be thinking the same way because they were always at Bam and Jouries house now.
"It don't matter. Matter of fact hand me Amara, she more chill." He reached for the baby wearing the purple and white onesie. Jourie suggested they color coordinated the kids until they were old enough to tell them who was who, because they were indeed identical.
Bam had already learned how to tell them apart, along with Jourie, and even kamaria and Samir mastered telling them apart, but some people still struggled hence the color coordination.
Bam passed the little girl over with ease, and Samir cradled her opposed to the way Bam was holding her moments before. He couldn't get over how much the twins looked like he and kamaria.
Bam was the only child that looked more like him, because mani and Maria looked more like Kamaria. Their bushy eyebrows were his favorite feature about them.
"Y'all always at our house, aggy." Jourie made her presence known as she made her way down the stairs. Her hair was pulled up in a messy ponytail, but she had a light beat on her face.
Jourie rarely wore makeup, not because she didn't like it or felt as if she didn't need it. It was simply because she barely knew how to do it. Still in her chill outfit consisting of a brown 2 piece set with biker shorts and a noodle strap crop-top, and a pair of slides. Not bothering to care about the appearance she let on.
She had on her gold nameplate, and a pandora bracelet, but that was about it.
"Girl you know you love us being here." Kourtney, her mother waved her off even though Jourie begged to differ with that statement.
Instead she swiveled her head over to Samaria who was glancing up from her phone towards Jourie. "Hey Maria can you run to the store with me real quick since everybody here and can help Bam with the twins?" She questioned, removing her keys from the hook on the wall.
Jourie was looking around for her purse while Samaria hoisted up from her seat on the comfortable couch. Jourie let out a breath once she laid eyes on the Chanel purse sitting on the kitchen island.
"Yeah girl I'll come." Samaria replied, picking her keys up from the couch, stepping over her brother and cousin yaya on the floor, she crossed the threshold.
"Maria get me a gatorade." Samir had his eyes glued to his daughter as she headed towards the door. She simply nodded, having to ask no questions.
"I'll be right back." Jourie spoke softly to where Bam was the only one who could hear her, then she kissed him twice on the cheek, and once on the lips. "Bye guys." She waved her hand before Samaria followed her out the door.
"You could've went to the store by yourself , you up to something." She called out to Jourie as she made it around to the passenger side of her newly customized car. It was the best part about having her own shop, it wasn't completely different but it had some new features on the outside that she loved.
Jourie laughed pulling her car door open. Easing into her car at the same time as Samaria, she ignored her best friend starting the car, she shuffled her playlist, and began backing out. "Of course I'm not just going to the store, we going to the mall." She shrugged.
Samaria furrowed her eyebrows in pure and utter confusion as Jourie began gliding down the road. Samaria didn't even flinch as Jourie sped as always, she couldn't complain because she always sped too.
It was one of the perks of having a sports car that drove smoothly.
"Why lie and say we going to the store then." Samaria raised her eyebrows, confused by her actions, trying to put together a motive.
"All this new shit, got a new whip. Got some new ice, got some new drip. Got rid of my old trash, got a new bitch. All this new shit, All this new shit."
The song played through the stereo, and Jourie found herself mumbling the lyrics while Samaria was still searching for answers, grasping at straws.
"Wait you dead ass serious?" Jourie looked at her sister, craning her head for a moment to see the look of confusion still written across her bestfriends.
Samaria shook her head and Jourie smacked her lips. "Bams birthday is tomorrow. I gotta go pick up everything I ordered on line." She informed the girl, thinking about how her man was about to be twenty-one.
With everything they had went through in such a short amount of time it felt like he was much older, but that wasn't the case. She was so happy to be able to spoil him.
The first two weeks of postpartum were her hardest. She was gradually getting better, healing, learning to be a mother, and without the help of Bam she didn't know where she would be.
He had done so much research while she was pregnant, she wasn't surprised her knew more than she did about babies.
Samaria gasped snapping back to reality. "No fucking way...I forgot." She covered her mouth as if she were shocked by her own actions, which she should have been. Shame on her.
Jourie instantly felt bad for Bam. She wondered what would happened if Jourie never reminded her bestfriend. "Girl how could forget his birthday like that. He ain't never forgot your B-day and he always get you some top tier shit." Jourie frowned.
Samaria shook her head. "Fuck." She mumbled feeling super bad. She didn't even know what to get him that he didn't already have. It certainly wouldn't be anything out the mall. She was positive Jourie was only getting some miscellaneous things to add to his big gift. "What did you get him?" She asked genuinely.
"I got him a lot of things, and I love you but you ain't finna piggy back off me." She bursted into laughter at the look on Samarias face. "I haven't got him that game he wanted though. I guess you can get him that." She suggested, since it would just be taking it off her plate.
"What game?"
"NCAA or sum. It's a lil under a hundred dollars. The only reason he ain't get it for himself is cause he wanna feel spoiled by me or sum." Jourie explained as she got on the highway.
Samaria let out a breath. She felt in relief. That would be easy to acquire...hopefully. "That's so crazy. I haven't heard anybody say anything about Bams birthday. They all acting like they focusing on the twins." She stressed.
Jourie giggled. "They having a party for him at the rec of course, who knows what they got him. They like to flaunt they lil money." She joked referring to their parents. Samaria also laughed since it was true, and they continued talking a little until jourie pulled into the Tampa international mall, and by now Bam was texting both her and Samaria seeing where they were.
Jourie had turned her location off, so he couldn't pin point her whereabouts. Instead of replying, she just silenced her phone and slid it in her purse walking side by side with her bestie into the mall.
They hit up Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Pacsun, MCM, and a few other places. She had to resort to getting expensive designer clothes, shoes and items because he had almost any pairs of shoes he could think of if he wanted them.
Jourie stopped to get herself a cinnamon pretzel from Auntie Annie's, and they headed towards the exit of the mall.
"Oh Jourie that's you?" The voice instantly alarmed her. She knew exactly who it was, but she wished that Pierre was smart and just let her go about her business when she had the chance.
Pierre was livid to see Jourie, her body was slowly developing back to how it was before. Still sporting a pudge, she was working her way back to her original figure. The diamonds on her ring finger were shining so much that she almost went blind from staring at hole onto them in pure jealously.
Genesis had been admitted back to a psych to get him some help because Cayeton couldn't control him anymore, and Pierre placed all the blame on the one person he lost his mind over. "You shopping for our man birthday tomorrow? Me too girl." She continued glancing at the bags in her hands, knowing she was getting under her skin
"I mean it's only right since I spent his last birthday chilling with him too. When you were no where to be found." Pierre giggled slightly, and Samaria cringed knowing it was true. Pierre liked to throw the past back in Jouries face, and it sucked that Jouries had such a sad feeling thinking about it.
"Yeah, I remember. We didn't get to spend time on my last birthday too." Jourie replied, as if she were sad. "I mean I guess I just gotta take that L though, you know." She nodded her head stroking Pierre's ego.
"At least I can walk around and say he didn't have me crying in the lobby of his building over some dick I never received, you big sloppy baldheaded ass bitch." She pouted watching her face drop. Samaria wanted to gag, but she let her sister-in-law get her point across.
A sense of deja vu came over when Jourie said her next line. "Hold my shit Samaria." She passed her bags over, she could see the look in Pierre's eyes and they were going to have to fight, she already knew. Flashes of them back in high school going through the same thing with Shanell erupted in her mind.
In the blink of an eye, Pierre tried to catch her at a vulnerable state, and ran up on Jourie. Jourie swung on Pierre infront of the mall—but it was more like Pierre ran into her fast.
She knocked Pierre back a slight bit, and she stumbled feeling dizzy, but she couldn't let this be the end of it. She had been saying if she and jourie got a one on one she would come out on top, and it was now time to prove herself.
She was caught off guard when her face felt like it was being put in a blender. As soon as the pain from one hit subsided, the other fist was slammed into her face with full force repeatedly.
Jourie quickly backed up as they caught the attention, and Pierre took that as her chance to swing with a right hook. Jourie weaved back just in time to feel the rush of air from the unconnected hit on her face.
Jourie countered with a swift jab full of pent up force to the side of the girls face, and Pierre's retaliation came quickly after jabbing her in the ribs.
Pierre felt like she was fighting a boy when Jourie ducked and grabbed her by the torso, slamming her to the ground. Samarias jaw fell open at the sight of Jourie gaining the upper hand. Pierre felt the impact reverberate through her body in pain.
She tried to bring her knees up and kick her way out of the straddle but there was no hope and Jourie threw back to back swift and fast punches to her face. She used her left hand to grip the girls hair and hold her in place before using her right to to pounce on her face, thinking about all the things she said about her family, and mainly her children.
Samaria gasped at the flow of blood that tricked down Pierre's nose as she screamed in pain. "Fuck Jourie, we gotta go!" Samaria urged.
"Hey! What's going on here!" A voice called once again giving Samaria deja vu. She looked up to see an on duty police officer rushing towards them and her heart stopped in fear for Jourie.
He pulled Jourie off of her and placed her on the feet far enough for Pierre to stand. "Officer she violated her restraining order." Jourie spoke shocking both Pierre and Samaria.
"Bitch your scary ass got a restraining order on me?!"
Jourie nodded crossing her arms. Truthfully, Bam forced her months ago. "You thought you was finna threaten my kids and I wouldn't take legal action. I didn't get it cause I'm scared. I got it because if you tried to put your hands on me I could whoop yo ass, and I did." She enlightened.
"What is your name ma'am." The officer asked Pierre. After receiving the name, he had Jourie give all her information so that he could look it up, and once he did and noticed there was one out, he let her walk Scott free while Pierre had something else in store for her.

Licking her lips, Jourie stood over Kamarion who was asleep in their large california king sized bed peacefully. She rolled her eyes at the thought of the lecture given to her last night after everything happened.
He was mad at her because she failed to reply, and share her location, then she came home only to tell him she had been fighting. He was left believing she initially went to go fight instead of the store, and she let him since it was the perfect cover up for her true intentions.
She had just got up to check on the twins, but they were sound asleep in the basinets next to their bed. So she eased back under the cover, and closed her eyes.
She kneed him in the back and his eyes jolted open. She played sleep as he looked around rubbing his eyes, having no memory of why he was waking up.
Taking a deep breath he flipped the cover from off of him, looked on the side of the bed where Kamourie was asleep. Standing to his feet he trudged to the bathroom to relive his bladder while Jourie slowly pretended to wake up.
He looked up seeing the girl sitting up staring at him. He paused for a moment seeing what she would say. "Goodmorning." She spoke, causing him to deflate slightly.
"Good morning mama." He replied with reciprocal energy, washing his hands before he began the task of brushing his teeth and washing his face. He pulled his dreads into a low ponytail before walking back into their attached room.
Getting his phone he lacked any birthday messages, but realized it was only ten in the morning. They probably weren't awake. Or at least that was what he would tell himself. "What we doing today." He questioned drawing in the bed.
He was wondering if she was still angry about their small disagreement the night before and that was the reason she hadn't wished him happy birthday. "I got a few appointments at the shop today, then I think I'm gonna go get my toes done since I'm tired of doing them myself." His face gradually felt he more she talked.
"What about you?"
"Shit nothing I guess." He shrugged trying not to show his bitterness.
"You forgot it's my birthday asum?" He questioned, unable to take it any longer. He needed to know what was up, and his worries were answer as he watched it click in her face.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I didddd." She dragged out grabbing his face that remained straight from disappointment. He had went all out for her birthday back in April so he felt betrayed.
"It's straight." He lied effortlessly, and her heart couldn't take it anymore.
"Can you go through the bathroom to the guest room and get me my file bin out the closet." She referred to the room they basically used as storage. "I need to get my restraining order on Pierre." She continued.
He nodded, standing from the bed. He followed her instructions walking through the bathroom to the other door that led to the attached room. He paused seeing the royal blue and gold birthday decorations aligned with many designer bags and designer shoes.
She hoped he didn't have them already. She couldn't even keep up with his shoe collection.
He went to look back for Jourie and she was standing right there recording him , on her digital camera. "Yo ass lied," He called her out, wrapping his arms around her body kissing her on the forehead. She lifted her chin and he placed one one her lips as well.
"Of course I did boo, I love you, I would never forget your birthday." She swore to him, unknowingly making him feel much better.
"Now go open your stuff we got so much we gotta do today!" She squeal in excitement as if it were her birthday, and he loved it. The way she always grew happy for him or even his accomplishments was the best feelings ever.
Y'all know I hate birthday chapters so we jus gonna...yeah! School approaching and it's making me sick😞
Thoughts and predictions?
