Difference between him and the original one, he is orphan with his entire life abused by his adoptive family also framed as "Panty Thief" in his school, all of those were the factors why his sanity drop into overkill-psycho/sociopath with a killing intent and craving for bloodlust and thrill.

How he become the CEO of Genm Corp ? He went missing for 7 years and now he appear with a new identity, Kuroto Dan. After 7 years of missing and as the CEO, he began to notice some game virus began to appear with a combination of supernatural forces which summons Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, Yokai, and many more including Bugsters.

Even Kuroto sees this as a great opportunity to manipulate the virus for his ultimate plan. Unlike the original, the Bugsters in this universe is called as "Virus Tribe", the tribe that once fight against the fallen angels with the help of Devils and Angels.

Kuroto made a deal with the tribe, even though the tribe dislikes his personality, they agree to work with him to banish the Khaos Brigade and the so called "Hero Faction".

How he is able to recover his sanity ?, it was because he met a female yokai a powerful one at the very first time he fight her. Throughout the years, that woman learned his past and formed a powerful relationship which ended up as lovers. Not even death can separate them.
