'Hey, kid, aren't you a little young to be in a place like this? Or are you trapped like me?'

I squinted as the figure chuckled, their yellow catlike eyes glowing in the dark as they stared at me.

'Actually, sweetie, I work here.' they said in a playful voice 'And for the record, I'm two years older than you.'

So they're like, nineteen?

'Who are you?' I asked in a stern voice, my body automatically going into a defensive stance.

'Well, everyone here calls me Gemini.' they answered as they stepped into the light. The girl had midnight blue hair tied into two buns on top of her head, dark skin and as said before yellow cat eyes. Like everyone else I've seen in this dump she wore a lab coat, but with the unique addition of wearing dark purple gloves.

'So is that really your name?' I frowned 'Everyone here, from what I know of anyway go by a zodiac.'

'Nah, we have names. We just don't use them for the purpose of keeping our identities hidden.' Gemini shrugged.

'Why though?'

'Do you always ask so many questions?'

'Not usually. But when I've been kidnapped and thrown into an unfamiliar place...' I narrowed my eyes 'Yeah, you'd think I'd be a little curious.'

'Well it's annoying.' Gemini spat 'Anyway enough chit-chat, you're here for a reason.'

I tilted my head 'And what reason is that?'

An evil giggle escaped the girl's mouth as she reached into her pockets, pulling out two pokeballs and tossing them in the air. 'To get you to talk, of course~' She sang as soon as the light faded, revealing a Plusle and Minun with similar evil grins.

Now, I know this is a serious situation and I should be concerned for my well being. But the fact she has the Pokemon representing the zodiac she goes by cracked me up slightly.

'What? What's so funny?' Gemini crossed her arms, pouting at the fact I wasn't shaking in fear.

'I- I get it! You have a Plusle and Minun be-because your name's Gemini, right?!' I laughed, pointing at her and her Pokemon with my claw 'How original!'

Okay, I admit that probably wasn't the best way to react. But it's me, and I don't like showing fear to the enemy. And yes, I was scared. I was bloody terrified. But why would I show it? That could be what they wanted. Anyway, as I was finishing my little giggle fest, Gemini, Plusle and Minin were all squinting at me with sweatdrops on their foreheads. I sighed, wiping a few tears away before turning to them.

'So how are you gonna get me to talk, anyway? Nuzzle me to death?' I joked.

'That's part of it, yes.' Gemini smirked, holding up the same device those scumbags used to knock me out. That sh*t was painful 'a Nuzzle, combined with a zap from this baby should get you to talk real quick.'

I wasn't laughing anymore, and instead stared at the device in wearily. However, I wasn't gonna talk.

'Like Hell-'

*Zap*

I shrieked, struggling to keep my balance as a stinging sensation shot through my body. I squeezed my eyes shut and winced as soon as it stopped.

'This should be fun...' Gemini giggled.

(Sun POV)

'I cannot believe I could've been so blind! Thinking back on it there was clearly something off about him! I was f*cking played because I fell in love with a fake! Oh my god I kissed that fraud, how sh*tty is that?!'

I continued to vent to myself, pacing back and forth with my fists clenched at my sides. Incineroar and Setsuko sat on my bed, watching me with concerned expressions since I had been going on about this for nearly an hour.

'Oh, and guess what? That F*cktrumpet has my sister and hauled her off to sh*t knows where! Ain't that fantastic!'

I chucked my beanie on the ground in anger, breathing heavily as my tense body stayed still for a moment. Suddenly the door opened and my mother popped her head in, her expression filled with worry. (Eyy, mom's here)

'Sweety, are you alright?' she asked softly.

'I'm fine, mom. Leave me alone.'

'I'm afraid I can't do that, Sun. You're clearly upset about all this and as your parent I want to help you when you're struggling-'

'MOM!'

She flinched back as I sent her the most parylizing glare I had ever given anyone 'I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE LOVE OF MY LIFE HAS BEEN LYING TO ME THIS ENTIRE TIME! NOT ONLY THAT BUT HE'S TAKEN THE CLOSEST THING TO A SIBLING I'VE EVER HAD, AND COULD BE DOING ARCEUS KNOWS TO HER! MY FRIENDS ARE DISTRAUGHT, ALOLA'S A MESS, AND WORST OF ALL I CAN'T DO JACK DIDDLEY SQUAT ABOUT IT! I JUST-' my breathing became ragged as tears began falling down my face , and I sank to the floor with the back of my arm covering my eyes.

'I just feel like this is all my fault...'

'... That's nonsense, Sun.'

Mom knelt down next to me, pulling me into a warm hug. Incineroar and Setsuko joined in, trying their best to cease my crying.

'We'll get Megan back. And we'll also make sure Leven pays for what he has done. This is his doing, not yours.'

'But... but I-'

'He manipulated you. Not the other way around. I have no doubt in my mind that your friends don't blame you either, nor does Megan. So stop feeling sorry for yourself, get out there and kick that dipsh*t's *ss!'

'Mom!' I laughed in shock, wiping a few tears away 'I didn't know you could swear!'

She giggled lightly 'I was young once too you know. My language wasn't always innocent.'

'No I suppose no-'

I paused, thinking about what she said for a moment. More specifically one word she said.

Innocent...

I gasped, shooting up and onto my feet in an instant 'That's it! Leven thinks we still think he's innocent!'

'Pardon?' mom blinked, looking up at me from her position on the floor.

'Sorry, mom but I gotta go get the others!' I told her with a determined smile, picking up my beanie from the floor and jogging on the spot while continuing to speak 'We'll be having guests over in a bit, so if you're gonna do the 'hospitality' thing again make sure there's enough snacks for six people! COME ON, TEAM!'

Incineroar and Setsuko let out determined cries, running after me as I bursted out of the house and set out for the Pokémon center. Not before informing everyone to meet there on the group chat though.

'Meeting at Hau'oli city Pokémon center! Get off your *sses and skedaddle over here stat!'

(3rd POV)

'What the... Oi, Rose!' Guzma yelled, taking his toothbrush out of his mouth.

'I know, I know!' Rose slid into the room in nothing but a towel, holding up her phone which displayed the new message on the groupchat 'What could Sun want?'

'I dunno, but you heard him. Skedaddle!'

'Yessir!'

'Huh?'

Lillie and Hau let go of each others hand, pulling out their phones to check their new notification.

'Meeting?' Lillie mumbled.

'Hau'oli city?' Hau continued.

They glanced at each other for a moment, before literally dashing towards the direction of the assigned area.

*Ding*

Ashley lifted her head from the pillow she currently cuddling against, taking her phone from the bedside table and turning it on. She groggily began reading the message, and her eyes shot open.

'Emilee!'

Her daughter glanced at her in confusion as she literally flung herself off the bed.

'We're going to Hau'oli city!'

Gladion glanced at the message, and so did Prince and Edge. They all glanced at each other.

'Who bets he has a stupid plan?'

They raised their hand/paw/claw.

'Welp.' Gladion sighed 'Looks like we're heading for the Pokémon center. Think you can get us there quickly, Edge?'

'Sil!'

(Luke POV)

'How long have they been gone...'

Laura let out an audible groan, sitting up and glaring at me with tired eyes 'You've said that for like, the billionth time, Luke! And I'm gonna answer the same as I had the other times; I. Don't. Know.' she rubbed her temple 'Were you like this when I was dragged off, too?'

'...yea...'

'Well what do you do while I'm gone?'

'Wait for you to come back!'

Laura stared at me blankly for a moment, before facepalming and falling back onto the mattress 'I swear to Arceus, you can be such a kid sometimes.'

I pouted.

'To be honest, I don't blame him for being paranoid.'

Both of us whipped our heads round to stare at the bars, finding someone on the other side. He smirked, taking one of his hands out of his pockets to run through his blue hair 'After all, I'd be frightened too if my family were in the hands of the boss.'

Their boss... Our father...

I gripped the bedsheets that I sat on, glaring at Pisces with my jaw clenched. Why was he working for our dad? Is there something that comes out of this which is valuable to him?

'Why are you here, anyway?' I ask him, sounding almost sarcastic 'What'll you get out of all this?'

He seemed taken aback from the way his eyes increased in size. However, his smirk never left his face as he spoke.

'I must admit that my motives... are pretty different from most of the others here. I don't really care for the 'new world' they hope for. I'm here for more personal reasons.'

Laura raised an eyebrow 'And what reasons are those?'

'Can't tell you. You'll have to wait and see.'

Dammit...

'Oh look~' Pisces cooed, pointing to his right as soon as we heard a door open 'Your little sister's back~'

Almost immediately Leo came into view, and he was gently carrying an unconscious Megan in his arms. She was back in her human form, so she must've woken up somewhere between her getting dragged off and now. Leo ignored the snarky comments from his colleague as he opened the cell door and walked inside.

'What's wrong, Avory?' The blue haired boy jeered 'You got a problem with us using force as a method to get that girl to talk?'

Leo didn't answer, gently sitting Megan up against a wall and began examining her neck. Laura and I soon found out why as we ran towards them. She had a large bruise where the collar that knocked her out was, telling us that it was used for more than just that. I began quaking in anger, hearing Pisces's chuckling from behind us. It seemed to p*ss off the caramel haired boy too, as he sent him a paralyzing glare from over his shoulder.

'I think you should leave, Leven.'

Pisces widened his eyes 'Okay, jeez fine I'm leaving.' He told us, putting his hands up in surrender while inching towards the door. 'But know that this won't be the only time she'll have this happen to her.'

And with that he left, leaving Leo, my sister and I to tend to Megan.

'Dammit...' Leo muttered behind gritted teeth, pressing two fingers against Megan's neck 'They went too far this time...'
