Chapter Three

Marinette let out a groan as she woke up.

She felt weak all over. Maybe that was the after effect of the drug they injected into her.

The cloth that was around her mouth before was no longer there, she let out a sigh of relief.

Where am I?

Of course, her question would not be answered.

She sat up on the soft surface she now realized was a bed.

Why is this room so dark? I can't see a thing!

The room was pitch black.

Marinette moved her hands and heard the rattle of chains.

What the hell?

She tugged harder then realized that she was restrained by chains.

"HELP!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!" She screamed. Her voice was hoarse and her throat was dry.

She heard a click then someone spoke.

"It's no use, my love. No one will hear you," The person said, she could tell it was a man.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?" Marinette trembled as she glanced around the dark room.

A rough hand ran down her arm then gripped it.

"You know me very well, Princess," The voice said, it sounded strangely familiar to Marinette, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

She felt tears well up in her eyes for the hundredth time.

"Take me back to my husband,"

"Oh sweetheart, you're never seeing him again and he'll never find you. You're mine now,"

"Get your hand off me! And don't call me sweetheart! I am most definitely not yours either!" She screamed before blinking away her tears. The man flinched and removed his hand.

There's no way in hell she'll cry right now.

"You should not behave so hostile towards me, my love. I did you a favour by taking you away from that disgusting Prince. He could not give you the life you deserve. And he can never love you like I do," The man said, caressing Marinette's cheeks with his rough hands.

She roughly tugged her face out of his hands. If she could see him, she'd definitely be shooting daggers at his face.

"Don't you dare speak of him that way! And can you stop calling me 'my love' ?? It's disgusting!"

The man placed his hands on her shoulder, to calm to raging princess, but she shrugged him off.

"Don't touch me!! Take me back to my parents and my husband!!" She shouted and the man was beginning to get angry.

"It seems you have begun to develop feelings for that Prince, but believe me, Marinette, when I say they'll disappear as quickly as they came," The man hissed in her ear.

She felt a chill run down her spine.

"Just who the hell are you?!" Marinette barked and the man smirked, but she couldn't see that.

"You'll find out soon enough, my love," The man said, before stepping out of the room.

THAT BASTARD!

To say Marinette was pissed is an understatement. She was in true rage.

Who was this disgusting man who had kidnapped her??

What did he want with her?

Why does he hate Adrien so much??

She didn't know the answer to any of those questions. And she knew the unknown man wouldn't answer her.

She fought against the restraints only to see that it did her no good. It was no use.

Adrien...

***

Marinette sat in the dark and stared at nothing.

She refused to go to sleep. No one knows what that man would do to her if she even closed her eyes for one second.

She heard the door burst open then hurried footsteps.

Backing up against the head of the bed, she pulled her knees to her chest.

Soon, she heard wood drop to the floor and the room was lit up. The light hurt her eyes so she squinted.

Looking around the room, she saw the three men from earlier with wood in their hands.

They shuffled to the door, stepped out and shut it hard behind them.

Marinette then looked to the source of the light. They were barred windows.

She wanted to get up, but the chains were still around her wrists and ankles. They were painfully tight too.

She turned her head to the heavy door when she heard it open. In stepped the man. He was wearing the heaving mask again along with a cap.

'Is he trying to hide his hair?' She asked herself.

"Look at you. You're dirty and your dress is ruined," He tutted, walking over to her.

"And who's fault is that?" She scowled at him.

"Mine, I'm afraid,"

Marinette rolled her eyes and turned away from him.

"You need a shower," He commented.

"Yeah. No Shit Sherlock," She muttered under her breath.

"I'll only allow you out of this room when I know you won't try to escape. You'll get a room of your own! With a much more comfortable bed and a bathroom. You'll have the best clothes as well," The man said cheerfully.

"I don't want to stay here! I want to go back home!! To my parents! To my friend! And to my husband!"

SMACK!

Marinette did not expect that. The man had slapped her and all she could do was stare at him in shock.

"Do not mention that husband of yours ever again! I had let you get away with it before, but not again,"

The shock subsided and Marinette glared at his masked face.

"You BASTARD! How dare you hit me?!" Marinette screamed. If she wasn't restrained, she'd probably be chocking the hell out of him right now.

How dare he lay his hand on her?

"You do not raise your voice at me either! And ladies do not use such foul language! You have pissed me off, Marinette! And you don't want to see how I am when I am pissed off!" He yelled and it chilled Marinette to the bone.

She was truly terrified, but she'd never let him see that.

No, she'll keep and straight face and she will not crack.

"I am going to go and cool down. I'll be back later with your breakfast,"

When she heard the door shut, she curled herself into a ball.

"I just want to go home," She sobbed as hot tears ran down her pale cheeks.

What does this man want with her?
