"How long do you think he'll go for?" Nino asked Alya, glancing at Adrien who was pounding the punching bag.
Nino was seated on the floor beside the chair Alya sat on. They were both watching the Prince pour out all his anger by hitting the punching bag repeatedly.
Alya shrugged, "I don't know. He probably won't stop until there's a hole in the bag."
They watched as the Prince poured all his anger into the blows the bag was receiving. His trainer would probably curse him out when he finds out he was punching the bag with his bare hands.
Adrien felt sweat trickle down his back and sweat trickle down his stomach. He felt sticky and he was sure he smelt awful. His hair was slick with sweat and it stuck to his forehead.
"Adrien, I think that's enough for today," Gabriel's voice invaded his thoughts, seizing his assault on the punching bag.
"I determine whether I'm done or not, father," Adrien glared at his father with tired eyes.
Gabriel studied his son's attire with disgust. He doesn't act like a prince at all and can sometimes be a true disappointment. "Adrien, look at yourself. Is this how a prince should act?"
Adrien rolled his eyes and walked over to Nino and Alya where Nino handed him a towel. He ran the towel over his wet face and through his sweat lathered hair before looking back at his father with a blank stare. "I'm sorry, did I ask to be a prince?"
Nino, Alya and Gabriel watched as Adrien draped the towel over his shoulders and walk out of the room.

Adrien walked out of the bathroom and into his room, towel wrapped around his waist and the other on top of head.
He opened his eyes and jumped out of his skin when he saw the familiar red headed maid standing by the door.
"The hell are you doing in here?" He asked as she shamelessly ran her eyes over his broad chest, his abs then stopped at the towel before reaching his eyes.
"Your father sent me to give you this letter that came from the Kurtsberg Kingdom," She said, biting her bottom lip and eyeing me lustfully.
'Why couldn't you just put it on the bed and leave?' He thought angrily. This maid annoyed him. She did nothing, but her presence just annoyed him.
He took the letter from her outstretched hand and shivered when her fingers brushed his hand.
"You can leave now," He said, turning around to hear over to his bed. A petite hand wrapped around his thick bicep, stopping him in his tracks. He growled and removed her hand from his arm. "What do you want?"
A smirk rose to the girl's face and she walked up to Adrien and placed her hand on his chest which made him raise an eyebrow.
"Your highness, you seem very stressed these days. I want to do you a favour and make you feel lighter and better. I'm sure you know what I'm implying," She ran her hand down his chest slowly.
Adrien gripped her hand and lowered his head so could look at her properly. The maid gulped when she saw a deadly look in his eyes.
"In case you didn't know, let me remind you. I am a married man and I find absolutely no interest in cheating on my missing wife especially with someone like you, " He said, glaring into her scared and hurt eyes. "I should just tell you to pack your bags and get the hell out of my castle, but you look like you need this job. If you even breathe at me the wrong way, you are out of here. Understood?"
The maid nodded stiffly, lowering her head.
"Good," Adrien dropped her hand and straightened. "Now get out of my room."
The girl muttered a small apology before rushing out of the room like her ass got burnt.
"I hate people," Adrien muttered before throwing on some sweats and a hoodie. He just wasn't your average Prince and his father doesn't see that.
He sat on his bed and tore the letter open before reading it.
Prince Adrien, I'd be delighted to have a chat with you and King Gabriel over some tea. You said what you wanted to discuss was something important and it got me me thinking: What could it possibly be? I am very eager to find out what you are speaking about.
I will be able to accommodate you on Saturday, if that is good with you of course. You also said you want to speak to my son. I'm sorry, but he has been in and out of the country frequently these days, so you will not be able to see him. I an looking forward to our meeting.
~ The Queen.
"That bastard," Adrien crumpled the paper before throwing it into the waste bin.
This was just more proof that Nathaniel definitely had Marinette, or was Adrien just paranoid because he doesn't like Nathaniel?
* * *
Nathaniel was on edge.
He had read the email from Adrien and he was chilled to the bone.
Could he possibly know who I am?
Will he find me?
Will he take Marinette away from me?
All those questions swam through Nathaniel's head, making him begin to worry.
He picked up his phone and dialed the only number that came to his head.
"Hey Nath! I have amazing news for you!" Lila's annoying voice met his ears.
"No time for that! I think Adrien knows that I have Marinette," Nathaniel ran his hand over his face.
"What the hell did you do, Nathaniel?" She asked in horror.
"I didn't do anything! A-All I did was send a few harmless pictures of Marinette with a small message. It wasn't anything too big," He answered.
"Send me exactly what you sent to Adrien. Maybe you're just overreacting as usual," He could practically see Lila rolling her eyes.
Nathaniel did as he was told.
"Nathaniel," Lila growled.
"What is it?" He asked.
"This is big! How could you send him something like that?" Lila exclaimed.
"Quiet down. I didn't think of it as something bad," Nathaniel muttered, pacing.
"Listen. I don't think he knows who you are. He's just saying that to get a scare out of you. Don't worry. But for the part when he says you're a dead man walking, it's true. You stole his woman," She tried to assure him.
Nathaniel let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, "You're right. And she is not his woman! Now that that's all cleared up and I don't fear for my life that much anymore, what did you want to tell me?"
"Oh! I almost forgot! I'm going on a date with Adrien!"

What an ending...
But anyways! How was today's chapter?
Now for the important thing I have to say:
I'm thinking of rewriting Adrienette Arranged Marriage. I have the perfect idea for the rewrite and I think you'll all like it better than the other one.
Here's a sneak peek at the new-ish cover:
And here's a sneak peek of the book itself:
"We have to give the public something to talk about. I can see the headlines now, 'Extremely hot model, Adrien Agreste, is dating a short and stuck up designer called Marinette Dupain-Cheng'. Nice, isn't it?" He smirked at me, taking a bite out of the croissant. "By the way, are you stress baking?"
"I am not stuck up," I said, snatching the croissant from his hand and stuffing it into my mouth, leaving him gaping. "And yes, I'm stress baking. I also will not go on a date with you."
"Rude," He pouted.
"You can leave now," I stated, going back to mix muffin batter.
Adrien came up behind me and placed his hands on my hips. He then leaned in so he could whisper into my ear.
"I'm not leaving until you agree to go on a date with me."
I felt my cheeks warm up then I Iet out a groan.
I know what you're all thinking.
'Won't this take away your attention from this book?'
'The updates are going to be slower than before!'
Don't worry, I'm way ahead of you. I won't start post (I have about three chapters down already) it until there are about 5 or less chapters left of this book.
I promise I won't let it take my attention away from this book.
Tell me what you think about the idea.
Anyways, school begins next week for me soo.... yeah.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Bye bye little butterflies 🦋🦋🦋.
