Bonus Chapter (1): "What?"
NB: This chapter is not a continuation of anything. It will be just like a filler chapter. What is in this chapter happened in the book, but it just wasn't stated. This was a little before the Epilogue❤️.

It was just a normal day at the Agreste Kingdom.
Marinette was in Adrien's room, playing a silly game on his phone with her head on his thigh.
"You have to use both of your hands so you can hit the double tiles, Mari," He begun to instruct, making Marinette roll her eyes. He flicked her forehead at that. "Stop rolling your eyes at me."
"Ouch!" She shrieked, her hand flying to her forehead. The sound of a piano came from the phone, signaling another fail. "Why did you do that? Now I lost the game!"
"Serves you right," He stuck his tongue out before throwing his arms over his eyes and closing them. "It's also not my fault why you can't get one measly diamond on Fountain."
Just as she was about to reply, she felt a bile rise up in her mouth. Shooting up, she dropped Adrien's phone on the bed a ran to the bathroom. Adrien, who was shocked and worried, hurried to his feet and headed to the bathroom, where he found Marinette heaving over the toilet.
It was the fifth time for the day that this had happened and it was becoming alarming. Adrien stooped down by her side, held her hair and rubbed her back softly. When she was finished, she stood and rinsed out her mouth before brushing her teeth.
When they were back in bed, Adrien decided to speak.
"Are you sure you don't want me to call the doctor?" He had asked her this question three days ago when she just started to vomit at least six to seven times daily, and her answer was that she didn't need a doctor and that she would soon feel better. Well, she was not better.
"It's fine, Adrien. I don't need a doctor," She said, laying her head on his chest. "I probably vomited because of what I ate earlier. So much cheese and milk definitely doesn't go good together."
Even though a small laugh accompanied her words, Adrien wasn't having it. "I'll call the doctor," He stated and she looked at him with a glare. "He would probably be able to come tomorrow."
"But-"
"No buts, Marinette," He cut her off, closing his eyes once more and letting out a sigh. "You are not well and I don't know what's wrong with you, so the best option is to call a doctor. Now hush up."
Knowing that she had nothing to say on the matter, Marinette crossed her arms over her chest and stomped out of the room like a spoilt child. She couldn't deal with Adrien right now and a hamburger with tons of pickles sounded so good.

"Ew," Adrien scrunched up his nose when Marinette dipped the pickle in peanut butter before taking a bite. "That must taste dreadful."
"Actually," She started with a smile, "it tastes amazing!"
Adrien gave her a face that told her that he was beyond disgusted. "How can you eat that?"
"I had a craving for pickles all of yesterday and this morning I felt for peanut butter, so I decided to just combine them and I love it!" She smiled, taking another bite of her peanut butter covered pickle. "Do you want to taste it?"
Adrien scowled, pushing her outstretched hand away. "No thanks you, Princess." Though he was disgusted, he couldn't help but to let a smile cover his lips. She looked so much better in contrast to the day before and he was happy about that.
Both royals were currently waiting in the garden for a room, in which the doctor will be using for Marinette's check up, to be set up with the necessary equipment that the doctor will use.
"Your highnesses?" They heard someone call and they turned to look at her.
"Yes, Rose?" Adrien answered.
"The doctor is ready to see the Princess," She replied.
"We'll be there shortly," Marinette answered and the blonde girl bowed before walking away.
When they were in the room, Marinette sat on the bed while Adrien sat on the chair that was beside the bed, and the two waited for the doctor to enter the room.
"Why are you so worried?"
"What if it's something that can kill you?"
Marinette rolled her eyes at him. "You're so extra. I'm sure it's not that bad so stop worrying."
The door swung open and I walked a short man with white hair.
"Good day, your highnesses," He said, bowing. "I am Master Fu, but if you prefer to call me Doctor Fu that's fine." He slung the stethoscope around his neck and wiped his hands. "Princess Marinette, your husband has been telling me that you have been feeling sick for the past few days and that you have been vomiting a lot. I'm going to run a few tests to see what exactly is wrong with you, is that fine?"
She then suddenly started to feel nervous. "Yes it is."
For about an hour, Master Fu ran multiple test on the nervous Princess, while Adrien sat anxiously and quietly as he waited to be informed on what is wrong with his wife. When Master Fu finished with the tests, he left the room, saying he'll be back shortly.
After ten long minutes, he walked into the room with his usual calm smile.
"Have you found out what is wrong with her?" Adrien asked nervously. "Is it fatal?"
"I have found out and you do not need to worry, your highness, for the Princess is just fine," He said. "What she has is no stomach bug. She is with child."
"What?" Marinette interrupted abruptly. "Could you repeat that?"
Master Fu grinned, "You are pregnant, Marinette."
Neither of the royals could believe their ears.
‘pregnant?’ they both thought.
"If you two would like some time to speak, I will step outside," He bowed before exiting the room, closing the door softly behind him.
Adrien was shocked. It was no secret that he had wanted a child, but it was still surprising to hear the news from the doctor.
Marinette couldn't believe it. She was twenty four and she was going to be a mother. To most that would seem too young, but she was a royal, she should have given birth to an heir a year, or two, ago but she had wanted to wait a bit. Adrien will be taking his father's throne when Gabriel has passed, and that time will be coming soon, so a baby is no problem right now.
"Well then," Adrien started, "we're going to be parents."
"Are you ready?" Marinette asked, twiddling her thumbs.
"You're asking me if I'm ready? I should be asking you that question. I heard childbirth is a pain."
Marinette laughed. "It's too early to think about that, Adrien."
"We're going to be simply the best parents," He commented with a grin, pulling the bluenette onto his lap and wrapping his arms around her waist.
"We've got to be up for the test," Marinette giggled.
"Definitely," He whispered, resting his forehead hers and placing a kiss onto her lips. "It's just miraculous."
