Ai and Alice took their seat at the dining table. Alice's eyes sparkled at the buffet placed on the table in front of her. The maids smiled at the young girl as she removed the lids of the dinnerware. Her mouth watered at the sight of the delicious food. She raised her hand to reach the food, her hands stopped in mid-air, she narrowed her eyes at her sister who had stopped her. 

"Don't be hasty. Let's wait for others, hmm?" Ai smiled at her.

Alice pouted in response. 

Just then, Antonio entered the room. "Master Aaron would be late, so he's asked you not to wait for him." He delivered the message with a slight bow.

"That's fine," Ai began, "we can wait for him-"

"Cannot." Alice interrupted her, "didn't you hear? The prince charming would be very very late, that's why he told us not to wait for him." 

Ai was about to scold her sister just then Antonio spoke, "Young miss is right, also he might not come home at all, so I'd suggest you have your dinner." 

"See," Alice shrugged.

"Alright," Ai smiled at the old butler, Alice's face brightened at her words and she immediately raised her hand to remove the lid off the dish when a hand stopped her again. 

"What now?" Alice narrowed her eyes at her sister. 

"We'll still wait for others to join us," Ai replied. 

"Others?" The old butled raised his brows in confusion. 

Ai then turned to the man and answered, "His brothers and sisters." 

"Oh, Everyone has their own dinner plans," Antonio replied.

"They won't be joining us?" She asked him.

"They don't particularly prefer the dining hall, they always have the dinner in their own room, and today they all seem to have their own plans so they're not home yet." He replied.

"I see," Ai nodded.

"Now, can I?" Alice raised her brow at her.

Ai nodded. 

"thanks," Alice face broke into a wide grin. 

"Please, let me," A young maid smiled at her.

Alice smiled back as she nodded as grabbed the spoon in her hand.

Next morning,

As they sat at the breakfast table, the young girl munched on her food with delight. Ai smiled at her sister, Alice then took a piece of her pancake in her spoon and raised it up to her sister's mouth, "here," She smiled at her.

"It's okay, you can have it all," Ai smiled directing the spoon back at her. 

"Okay," Alice shrugged as she fed herself.

Ai looked around, her eyes searching for her fiancee. 

"Did you want something, my lady?" Antonio spoke from her side, startling her. 

"Oh...oh hmm, nothing really," She smiled nervously.

"Come on, Antonio, she's obviously looking for her prince charming, no?" Alice looked at her sister with a teasing smile.

The old man chuckled at her words, "Of course, I apologize, he dropped by this morning, but something came up at the office, so he had to leave immediately, he might not be able to join us for a few days."   

Ai's face fell at the news, but she masked her sadness with a wide smile, "That's fine," She shook her head, "And o-"

"Others won't be joining us either, they've already had their breakfast in their room." The old man replied even before she could question.

"Oh, okay, thank you," she gave him a small smile and turned her gaze at the food on her plate. 

The old man then excused himself, disappearing inside the kitchen. 

"tsk, tsk, my poor sister, seems like this new bride has been completely ditched by her husband and her in-laws." Alice shook her head. 

They both heaved a deep sigh.

Ai paced back and forth in her room staring at the phone in her hand, 'Should I call him?' 'Or may I shouldn't,' She shook her head, 'He's obviously busy.' 

'he's not home since 3 days, I can at least call him and ask about his wellbeing,' She nodded to herself. 'But, he's not even seen my messages, would he have time to pick up my call, it would just bother him, I don't want to disturb him.' she heaved a sigh. 

"hey, aren't we sleeping tonight?" A sleepy voice brought her back from her thoughts. 

Looking at the direction of the voice, she saw her sister looking back at her, barely opening her eyes, "I'm a growing child you see, I need to have 10 hrs of minimum sleep" She complained. 

"Sorry, did I wake you up?" Ai walked to the bed and patted her head. 

"You've been pacing back and forth, changing your decisions and sighing for the millionth time," Alice mumbled. 

"But I wasn't making a sound at all,"

"Your expressions were loud enough," Alice yawned, rubbing her eyes. 

"Sorry about that," Ai chuckled as she planted a kiss on her forehead. 

"So what was the conclusion you reached?" Alice asked her. 

"I decided not to bother him." Alice hugged her sister as she slipped beside her. 

"You should bother him," Alice told her.

"Hmm?" 

"You're obviously worried about him, so if you don't bother him, you'll only bother yourself." Alice replied, "it's okay, you can bother him, I bet he won't mind a visit from you, he doesn't seem to be the rude type, I don't think he'll be mad at you for being worried about him, on the contrary who knows he might get happier when he sees you?" 

"but..." 

"Didn't you guys get closer? or are you still just strangers?" 

"A litter closer maybe?" Ai replied, "but..."

"You visited his office before didn't you?" 

"yes,"

"So was he upset about it?" 

"no,"

"Then go and pay him a visit, you're his fiancee now, you have the right to." 

"Then, would you come with me tomorrow?" 

"I don't think I want to interrupt your long awaited date." Alice shook her head as she turned her back to her. 

"For moral support please?" Ai asked wrapping her arms around her tight. 

"Alright," Alice heaved a sigh, "I'm glad I tagged along, you'd have been bored to death in this castle." 

"Yes, I'm so glad to have you here," Ai giggled as she kissed her cheek.
