That moment when you realize two characters in two different stories are both called Mac or Mack.....

Granted I don't think many people will confuse Macklemore Edgewise (of Edgewise) with Macbeth Pembrooke (of New Earth Six). The beard, for one, is a definite difference between them. There is also a 5 year writing gap between their stories. I blame the gap. 

Always mind the gap.

Still, this is one of those writing moments where you stare at the screen, wondering how this happened. There are so many names, so many variations, and yes, I know, their names are not identical but sharing the same nick name bugs me XD Maybe I should call her Beth...but I know she'll hate it. I can almost feel the mental slap to the back of the head from the character.
