When we had regrouped with the other survey corps we headed for home. I saw many of them were covered in blood and there were fewer than before. This was the way it always was. Despite being well trained every time we enter Titan territory a lot of brave soldiers fall. The people back home wouldn't be happy. We had ventured out here to look for answers but we came back with nothing. The survey corps were often looked down on, even thought we were the only division that actually fought those disgusting creatures. Gunther had seemed to have recovered from his near death experience. He was a good soldier but I guess that abnormal caught him when his guard was lowered. Captain Levi was riding behind Commander Erwin we the rest of the survey corps followed suit. Soon we managed to get to wall Maria but the Commander held up a hand to tell us to stop. What was going on? I couldn't quite see. Why had we stopped? We were right out in the open here. Titans could ambush at any moment. There must be a reason. Captain Levi moved to the side slightly and I saw past him. The sight made me gasp. It was wall Maria, there was a massive whole where the gate should have been. The Titans had breached the wall. How was that possible? The commander turned on his horse to face the whole Survey corps.

"Wall Maria has been breeched. Be prepared to encounter the enemy." He turned and continued to walk forwards. I looked around me and saw me comrades were just as shocked as I was. The other soldiers looked terrified. I could tell from the looks on their faces that they had seen enough of the enemy today. They didn't want to encounter another Titan and I imagine that some lived in the district of Shiniganshina. I wondered how many lives had been saved by the Garrison. How many people had made it into wall Rose before it was too late. The Garrison were the regiment responsible for protecting the wall and evacuating people of needs be. They were in charge of the cannons too but it was clear that what ever had broken that wall could not be taken down by a cannon. Plus with the survey corps out they chance of survival was minimal for the people living in Shiniganshina. The Garrison were good soldiers but they were just like the Military police when it came to facing Titans. They had never seen one before and they didn't have the guts to fight one. As soon as we past the gate my eyes widen at the horror I saw before me. Titans were everywhere. It looked like all the people that could had already been evacuated but there clearly wasn't enough room on the boat. Screams filled my ears from in front and behind. Titans appeared out of no where from buildings and snatched up soldiers from left and right. I watched as one poor man screaming for help, slowly be eaten by a Titan. I couldn't take it any more. I hated just riding by like that, knowing that I could save at least some lives.

"Captain!" I called. I knew that I didn't need to say anymore. We had been fighting so long he knew that if people we're dying around me, I would want to help.

"Do what you must Drew." He replied.

"Thank you Sir." I used my 3DM gear to get on to the roof off on of the buildings. I heard a grapple hook land next to me then two more. I turned to see Petra, Oluo and Gunther stood there. Eld, who was the second in command stayed close the the Captain. It was his job to protect him, not that the Captain really need protecting. I gave them a rather confused look.

"Well you didn't think we were going to let you fight all these alone did you?" Said Petra.

"Yeah we wouldn't do that. Even when you are on one of your 'I'm gonna save the world' missions." Said Gunther. I smiled at them.

"And we can't let you take all the glory." Said Oluo in his Captain Levi voice.

"The Captain does talk like that!" I shouted at him. He shrugged and then we heard a scream. We saw a woman be snatched up. I charged and chopped it's hand off. The girl began to fall to the floor and I used my 3DM gear to sweep her up. We landed smoothly onto a roof.

"Thank you so much." She said in a shaky voice.

"No problem just stay out of trouble." She nodded and I looked back at the Titan to see Petra cut it down. Then we all went back to where the rest of the Survey corps were riding below. We ran along the rooftops cutting down any Titans that got too close to them. I saw they all looked terrified as they kept their heads down and rode forward. I saw the Captain look up at me and nod. I nodded back and then carried on ahead. A Titan began to come straight at the Captain and Commander.

"Oh no you don't." I said as I whipped around and sliced it's weak spot. It fell to the ground but I jumped onto the roof again. The Survey corps began riding around the fallen Titan. I felt a hot burning on my hand and saw Titan blood covering it. I sighed and wiped it off, gross. I wasn't a neat freak like the Captain but I hated having Titan blood on me, but then again I guess everyone did. I heard Petra land beside me.

"We're nearly there." She said looking at the gate.

"Let's hope they open the gate in time for us to go through."

"It would be a problem if they didn't."

"We're are the others?" I asked hoping they were safe.

"Their okay but they decided to stay at the back. We protect the front they protect those at the back, we meet half way."

"Sounds reasonable. Well then Petra. Let's get to work..."
