ITS NEVER THE END LEL

After several hours lying awake and staring at the ceiling, I finally sat up. I got off my bed and went downstairs to see a sleeping Raven. Damn girl looked peaceful while sleeping. Sleeping. Something I could be doing right now. I walked in the kitchen and opened the fridge. After a moment I pulled out a bottle of beer. I popped the lid off, closed the fridge, and took a sip while walking back into the lounge room. I sat on the recliner and picked up the TV remote. Taking another sip, I turned on the TV. I flicked through channels until I landed on the news.

"Jennifer here out the front of another victim's house. The family were found mangled with smiles cut in their faces, and the words 'GO TO SLEEP' written on the walls of the house in what is presumed to be blood." The reporter said, as I took a swig from the bottle.

"The muliatied family consists of two girls, three boys and the mom and dad. The pets were also found muliatied." I went to drink more beer, only to get nothing. I looked at my now empty bottle and turned it upside down. I shook it but nothing came out.

"Damnit..." I muttered, getting up out of my chair, and tossing it in the bin in the kitchen.

"The family have be-" I turned off the TV and headed to my room upstairs. I opened my desk drawer and pulled out a packet of smokes. I took one out and put the packet back in the drawer. I closed the drawer and headed downstairs, and went out the front of my house.

"Where's my damn lighter..." I grumbled, rummaging through my pockets for my lighter. After a while I pulled out the lighter and lit my cigar. I began to smoke, leaning against the wall. I took a long drag and blew out a smoke ring. Soon I had finished my smoke and flicked it on the concrete, crushing it with my shoe. I was about to head inside when I heard a scream from next door.

"NO! PLEASE DONT HURT ME!" A female screamed. I bolted to my neighbours house and burst through the door. I continued to hear her cry, and finally I entered a room only to see Jeff towering over her. I inwardly groaned.

"Jeffery stop." I sighed. He snapped his head in my direction and his eyes widened if that were possible.

"Shit," he muttered. "What are you doing here Bass Note? And don't calL ME THAT!" He asked, not noticing the victim slipping away.

"Heard a scream so came to inspect." I said cooly.

"But how were you in the area?" He questioned.

"I live next door dumbass," I rolled my eyes, "and of course you just had to pick this place to murder someone. Now, if I were you I'd get out of here before the cops show and before Slender comes for you."

He made a small whining noise and jumped out of the window and jumped the fence. I sighed and went to look for my poor neighbour. She was hiding in the linen closet with her knees to her chest.

"Shh.. Hey it's okay..." I said quietly, making her aware of my presence. Her eyes widened in fear and she backed up into the wall of the closet. I noticed she wasn't looking at me, but looking behind me. I turned to see Slender and I facepalmed.

"Your gonna zappity zap her aren't you." I said dully, looking back to my neighbour. I realised she had passed out.

"No." Slenderman said.

"What do you mean 'no'?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I mean if we put her in her bed she'll think it was just a dream." He calmly stated. I watched as he picked her up and placed her gently on her bed.

"Wow. You haven't hurt her." I said sarcastically.

"Child you know that I struggle to not hu-" he paused. "Your just messing with me aren't you."

"Noooooo. What gave you that idea?" I replied in a sarcastic tone. If he had eyes, he would have rolled them.

"Well, you should head home now Ne-" Slender stopped mid-sentence.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You smell of smoke." He stated.

"So?"

"You've been smoking, haven't you." He stated more than asked.

"Noo.." I said adverting my gaze.

"Hand them over." He commanded, extending a tendril out at me.

"I would, but I don't have them on me." I said, "And if I did we both know I wouldn't give them to you."

"Whatever." He finally gave up. He wrapped a tendril around my wrist and we appeared in my room.

"I guess this is where you piss off?" I questioned half jokingly, half serious. He nodded and teleported away. I sat on my bed and took my lighter out of my hoodie pocket, flicking the light on and off. I soon got bored and tossed it on my desk, then lied on my back with my hands behind my head. I closed my eyes.

Darkness finally fell over my tired eyes.
