Hey guys, thank you again for the reads. I don't know how many times I will thank you guys but I really appreciate it. It's because of your reads, comments, votes, and ideas that I am motivated to keep going. Natasha's POV

I really didn't like the dress in front of me. It may look fit for a ball but no way was I going in it. I would occupy all the space in the room, I mean that is if I am able to actually walk in it. I turn back and look at Lorenzo.

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to sound so harsh, what I meant is that it is too big for my figure," I said.

"Oh, I just thought that since its the right size it will fit perfectly," he said

"I know but it's not the right taste. You still have to tell me how you found my size." I say.

He rubs the back of his neck.

"I asked my closest employee to get it but then I also asked your aunt just to make sure," he said.

I nod.

"I had to guess the latter. Anyway, I have to think about where to get a new dress. So you have to find your tuxedo and I'll find my dress." I said.

"Alright, but the ball is at seven you have to be downstairs by six." He said.

"You do know it takes long to look this good, I mean look at most of the girls," I said in my defense.

"Sure but you are an exception to everything." He said winking then leaving the room.

What did that mean? I wonder. I quickly get changed.

I didn't have enough time already. Grabbing my bag I went downstairs to the car park. Lorenzo's family owned a lot of cars but I took the simplest one, which was a mini cooper, not to draw too much attention and to blend in with the rest. Driving around London was hectic. There are always buses, pedestrians, narrow turns but finally, I found a place to park on Oxford Street. I know! Why was I coming to such an expensive place? Well because this was my last night with Lorenzo. I don't know what will happen when we get back to our separate world and the pretending stops, I don't know if we will act like it never happened, or if we acknowledge that it did where are we going to take it from there? There were so many questions in my head but whatever happened I want this night to be memorable.

I walk into different shops but there was absolutely nothing. I sighed in frustration.

"Hi, ma'am. What are you looking for?" The shop keeper asked me.

" I'm looking for a ball gown for tonight," I said sighing.

"Oh, my daughter also had such an emergency. I might have something for you at the back. Please follow me." he said.

I sighed in relief, hopefully, the dress looked beautiful or was beautiful at least.

Parking the car I rush upstairs. As I swing the door open I fin Natalie and Judy on my bed.

"It's about time you show up," Natalie said.

" I can't believe I got the children dressed and all before you." Judy teased.

" I am so sorry guys. Lorenzo got me a dress but it wasn't my taste, so I went to town to find one but none of them were right, so in my time of distress this shopkeeper offered me this dress his daughter wore with a mask." I said holding the two items in each hand.

"Wow it looks beautiful, and it was customized," Natalie said.

"It's also a copy of the original piece but just done better," Judy exclaimed.

"Thanks, guys but now we have to get ready," I said.

"To the bathroom!!" Natalie cried pointing her hairbrush at the bathroom door.

After an hour or more we were ready.

"Wow, Natalie you look amazing," Judy exclaimed. I agreed with her.

Natalie was wearing a red dress with silver block heels and her hair in beach waves.

"Look at you Judy," I said. "You look casual but beautiful."

"This is what you wear when you have two kids." She said, "You can't dress fancy because you never know when they will throw up."

Judy's dress and mask🔝

Soon the twins came running up.
"Wow mum she looks like a princess," Anna said pointing at me.

"She does, doesn't she?" Judy said

I looked down at the dress I had borrowed. It was blue and slightly puffy with black heels and my mask.

"But you guys look prettier," I said squatting in my heels. Serious goals.

"We are princesses," Loren said twirling in her dress.

"You certainly are. " Natalie said pinçon their cheeks.

"Let's go the guys are surely waiting," Judy said.
We all hurried outside the room.
I descended slowly, cause I don't want to start the night at the hospital. 

When I saw Lorenzo my breath hitched. I don't know if it was the moonlight reflecting on him but he looked crispy. 

His tuxedo was neatly made. His hair was gelled to the side. He looks so fierce so handsome so...

"Beautiful," he said.

"Huh?" I ask coming out of my daze.

"Do I really look that good?." he asked smirking.

"Better than good. You look like the moon blessed you tonight." I said.

"Isn't that what I say to you?" he smiled.

"Um sorry, I'm just really captivated by your charm," I said.

"Don't worry the moon doesn't shine without its stars. You look absolutely breathtaking. I don't know what other words to describe you but if I hold you in my arms tonight I'll die a death knowing such beauty." he said.

I turned scarlet. My stomach had so many butterflies. I looked down at my feet.

"Thank you." I finally said looking up from my eyelashes.

"Hey, lovebirds we need to get going," Massimo said laughing at us.

"Ewww mommy just kissed daddy," Loren said.

"That so romantic," Anna said.

"No it not, it's gross," Loren said.

We all laughed as the twins bickered away.
Lorenzo insisted that he and I ride in a separate car. 

"Why, what's wrong with me being in there?" I asked.

He inhaled and then spoke

"I want to breathe your air, your scent. I want to look into those blue eyes and be happy that they are mine for tonight and possibly forever. I want to be the reason you laugh and cry. I want it to be just me and you. And I can't have that with the others around." he said looking down at his shoes.

Now my whole body was paralyzed. I looked up at him and smirked.

"Are you blushing?" I ask.

"Only for you," he said opening the door but he just went a deeper red.
I climb in and when he came in I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I would like it if it was just me and you," I said softly.

His body became stiff but then he looked down at me and a stupid grin formed his face.

We rode in comfortable silence.

On arrival, I was shocked. The staircase was decorated with candles and flowers. The whole room was dark as the light shone low.

After we had lunch and watching the twins run around a slow song came up.
Natalie and Massimo glided onto the dance floor, Judy and Henry did the same, the twins dancing with themselves.

I looked up and saw Lorenzo in front of me. He took my hand and guided me to the dance floor.

"This is beautiful," I said when we had reached the dance floor.

"May I?" Lorenzo asked.

"You may," I said placing my hand around his shoulder and my skin awakening by his touch around my waist.

Lorenzo POV

I can't believe she was in my arms. Her long curls sat perfectly on her back, she looked beautiful in her dress, I mean she was just perfect.

We went round and round the room. All I could see was her, and her blue eyes which were beautifully bought out by her dress. The world just melted away. It was just me and her.

"What you thinking about," she asked.

"I'm thinking about how a beast like me could be with such a beauty," I said.
She smiled and my heart somersaulted. Then she laid her head on my chest.

I read somewhere that when a girl lays her head on a guy she wishes that she could be his forever. Is that how she felt? I hope so though.

Soon the music came to an end. She looked into my eyes and we stare at each other.

"You are wonderful," she said. "I wish this night didn't have to end."

"Me neither," I said.
