It was currently a study day for me. But I wasn't studying alone I had Javi. He was in my room with the door open of course. Otherwise Mom would be on our backs. "Do you get this?" I asked him while looking at our maths work. Although Javi and I were just friends we still had live with the rule of no boys in the room with doors closed.

"Are you forgetting I pay people to tell me the answers but no I don't get this at all." He said to me and he put his pen down. He was never the richest but I still had the money when it came to paying people for the answers.

"I'm so going to fail this." I said to him, we heard the door go and we went downstairs. Gina was here.

"Remember, Gina is a regular girl. This is no time to stop acting like yourselves." Oliver said to us before going over to the door. He opened it and then she was. "Hey, Gina." He said to her with a smile.

"Hey, Oliver. Wow. Your house is so nice." She said to us and we all smiled at her. She was pretty. I don't know why anyone like her would want to go for Oliver.

"Thanks. Just two good, hardworking people, trying their best to provide for their family." Oliver said as they walked over to us arm in arm. Could these two stay together for every.

"I'll sign the paper for their teen marriage right now." Mom said making me smile.

"You remember my mom and dad. And my twin sister Y/n and her friend, Javi. And my sister Taylor and her boyfriend, Trip. And this is my little sister Anna-Kat and her friend Franklin." He said and I saw that everyone was in the couples apart from me. Where was Cooper.

"Actually, Franklin and I just made it official. We're an item now." Anna-Kat said to us that was unexpected.

"What's an item?" Franklin asked and I shared a look with Javi. Mom was eyeballing us did she want me to be with Javi.

"How I hooked this tuna, I'll never know." Anna-Kat said before going upstairs with Franklin.

"Well that was weird right?" Javi asked me and I looked at him. He'd known my family for ages and he still questions how normal we are.

"No that's pretty normal for her." I said back to him.

"Come on in." Mom said to her and Javi and I went to my Dad's office to get something we printed out.

"Burnish Dias, Ottos! Check out what I just charged to my black Amex. It is a custom-made, Italian leather tote bag. Everyone, form a line to feel." Cooper said as he walked in. I smiled finally I could join in with the couple theme. But Javi would be a third wheeler or he could text that mystery person again. He'd been giggling all day over them.

"Cooper." I said going over to him and hugging him. He hugged me tight before kissing my cheek and putting an arm around me.

"Who is this?" Gina asked while looking at Oliver.

"I'm Cooper. Oliver's best friend and Y/n's boyfriend." Cooper answered and I saw the look on Mom's face.

"Unfortunately." She whispered, too which part I'll never know.

"Really?" Gina asked after scoffing. She couldn't believe this.

"Cooper and I hang out on occasion." Oliver said this wasn't going to be good for their friendship I felt bad for Coop.

"All the time. Now, dude, let's go. There's a bocce tournament at the club, and I have to swing by the house to change into my whites." He said and we all looked at him. He was already in white. "This is eggshell." He said to us. Oh got it.

"Oh." Mom got out.

"Actually, Gina and I are going mini-golfing." Oliver said to him I went over to Javi. This was going to get bad before it got better.

"Not enough Purell in the world, brotha." Cooper said to him. Javi and I were just watching from afar.

"Has anyone ever described you as 'punchable'?" Gina asked and Mom's hand shot up. Dad looked at her and she slowly lowered it.

"Sorry, Coop. Gina and I already made plans.  You and I can go to the club another time." Oliver said and Cooper looked crushed. Poor guy.

"Come on, Oliver, we gotta leave now if we want to catch the bus." Gina said as the two of them stood up. Javi and I went upstairs. I get that this was important to him but my studies were also important. That next day I want to dance class with Javi and let's just say the whole day got interesting after class I saw Cooper outside with his Vespa.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him and he looked around.

"Things have ended between me and your brother." He said to me and that was that. Knowing they wouldn't be friend anymore killed me.

"Well you still have me and my Mom." I said to him. I liked my mom there as some kind of soft spot from there. Cooper took me home and that was that. 2 days after it was time for a competition it was nationals and that was all I was prepared for. Once I got home I had crutches. I'd really injured myself. A dislodged knee. Once I got in, it was just Mom and Cooper.

"What happened sweetie?" Mom asked as she looked at me.

"We won and I can't walk for a week." I said to them both and Cooper looked happy for me and not.

"I'll help you walk somewhere." He said to me and mom smiled.

"Help me upstairs?" I asked him and he came over to me. He put an arm around me and we went upstairs. Later that night we were going out bowling. Which is a bit hard to do when you've only go one leg but I managed just fine. It also made me happy seeing Oliver and Coop still being friends. Least some things will never change.
