~One week later~

Mason's P.O.V

It's been a week since the incident. I got out of the hospital early since my wounds healed quicker though they're still a bit sore. I heard that Luke was sent to the hospital the day I woke up from my coma. His wounds were a lot worse than mine and I knew Miliya had something to do with it.

I was sitting in 5th period doodling on a piece of paper. The teacher was out of the classroom for some reason. Everything was peaceful and quiet...at least that's what I wanted it to be.

Julian has had this class with me and Luke does to. She sits behind me and always finds ways to upset me or just annoy me. I get in trouble a lot thanks to her. At the moment she's throwing balls of paper at the back of my head that I will have to clean up later. As I was doodling, I heard her stand up and move to the desk beside me. I looked up at her and my ears dropped in fear. She sat down and glares daggers at me.

"I heard Luke has been in the hospital for a week is that correct" she asked staring me down.

I quickly nodded and looked away. She grabbed my hair and yanked hard on it so I was looking at her again* Since my desk is in the back of class and the teacher isn't in here, she got away with it. I whimpered and tried to squirm away only for her to pull harder.

"Listen her faggot if Luke doesn't come back by the next three days you'll be in another coma for three years" She said letting me go as the bell rang.

I shivered and quickly got my stuff together rushing out of the classroom. I silently hoped that he'd hurry up and recover but then again I didn't want to see him again.

After a while it was time for lunch. I walked into the cafeteria and all eyes were on me. My ears flattened and I hurried to my seat next to Miku. I could hear everyone in the cafeteria whispering about the incident.

"Did you hear what happened?"

"I heard Luke beat the hell out of him"

"Wasn't he just sticking up for someone?"

"I heard Mason bullied that Julian girl and Luke gave him the what for"

"Mason doesn't look like he could hurt a fly"

"Bullies come in different shapes and sizes though"

Hearing all of this, I stood up making everyone gasp and ran out of the cafeteria. The thought of everyone thinking I bullied someone even though it was the other way around.

I ran into the school garden and sat on the floor burying my face in my knees. I wanted to cry but I couldn't. All the tears I had were wasted on Luke. I can still feel all the pain he put me through, even my parents planned on putting a restraining order against him.

In the distance, I heard the sound of foot steps coming towards me. Thinking it was Julian, I hugged my knees tighter and began to tremble preparing to be hurt.

"What are you doing" a familiar voice asked.

I lifted my head to see no other than Terrence standing in front of me. I shook my head and stood up.

"N-nothing.." I said nervously, "Miliya must've sent you"

Terrence shook his head putting his hands in his pockets.

"No I came out here on my own" he said.

I was shocked for a moment that Terrence even cared about me.

"So What are you hiding from Julian?" He asked sitting on a nearby bench.

"W-Well...y-yes and no" I said, "the whole school thinks I bullied Julian."

Terrence stayed silent for a bit before sighing and putting his hands through his hair.

"Like I said she's bad news, honestly you need to talk with Luke.."

My eyes widened once again and I looked at him. Luke hates my guts right now I doubt he even wants to see me.

"N-no...I can't he'll hurt me" I said feeling tears in my eyes.

Terrence didn't reply, instead he stood up putting his hands in his pockets. As he started to walk away.

"Trust me...he won't"
