Luke's P.O.V

"uke.....Luk...LUKE RAKEN WAKE UP" my mother yelled startling me.

"Mom" I groaned rubbing my eyes "What was that for"

"You're going to be late for school" she said pulling my sheets off me

"Oh yea school starts today....." I said. "Ok ok I'm up"

My mom left as I went to the closet and got out my uniform. My ears twitched in annoyance when I realized I have to do this every morning for 365 days. I put on my uniform and fixed my hair not really caring whether or not it looked good. Once I was done I grabbed my bag and walked out of my room to the front door.

"Goodbye Luke have a good day at school" my mother yelled from the kitchen.

I yelled bye before walking out of the house. Once I got outside I seen Terrence sitting on my porch with his phone in his hand. I smiled and walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. He looked at me with the bored expression he always wears.

"About time you got out" he said standing up and started to walk.

"Yea yea...so how was your summer" I asked catching up with him.

"Alright I guess..other than Miliya begging me to come over half the time" he sighed.

I laughed and we walked to school together with me making fun of him every once in a while. Once we arrived we grabbed our schedules and walked down the hallway.

"HEY TERRENCE LUKE" We heard Miliya yell running up to us Miku not far behind.

When they caught up Miliya threw her arms around Terrence hugging him tightly. They've been dating since middle school and are still together surprisingly.

"I missed you soooooo much" she said. "Why didn't you visit me?"

"Mil you were all the way in America.." he said moving his hair out of his face.

Miliya pouted before looking at me smiling.

"So who's your first period" she asked.

I looked at my schedule before looking back at her.

"Mrs.Jenet" I said.

"Hey Mason has that class" Miku said.

Suddenly the tardy bell rang scaring Miku.

"Shit that's the bell we gotta go Miku" Miliya said before giving Terrence a quick kiss on the cheek and running off with Miku.

I waved bye to Terrence before walking off to my class.

Small Time skip...

Since it was the first day of school the teacher let us have a free day. I was talking to Ashton who was also in that class. He was telling me a story about his little sister Sidney. As he was talking I turned around and seen Mason drawing a picture of some sort with a little blush on his face. I looked back over to see Ashton on his phone so I got up and went over to Mason and sat beside him.

"Yo Mason" I said.

Mason looked up at me and grabbed his paper hiding it on his chest as his tail wrapped around his leg. His face was getting redder and redder.

"L-Luke what a-are you doing here?!" he said as his ears dropped.

"You didn't know? I have this class" I said looking at him confused.

He looked down and opened his mouth like he was going to say something but didn't because Ashton came over and gave me a nuggie.

"Who do you think you are leaving me" Ashton said.

"Ow! Ow! Ok I'm sorry" I said as he pulled off me.

The bell rang for class and Ashton left as I tried to keep up with Mason.

"Hey Mason what were you trying to say earlier before Ashton came" I asked.

Once again his face lit up and he waved his hand in he face.

"N-Nothing at all L-Luke!! I-I gotta go see you later" he said before running off down the hallway.

'I wonder what his problem is...' I thought.

Mason P.O.V

IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT!!!! I can't believe that I wanted to tell him how I feel. I looked down as I kept walking to class. The picture I was drawing was Luke and I kissing. The thought made my face turn redder than a tomato. But even I know that he's straight and wouldn't date me even if we were the last ones on earth. I sighed and walked into my next class.

Another time skip...

At lunch I was sitting with Miliya, Miku, and Ashton. We were waiting for Terrence and Luke to come out of line but they were taking to long.

"Sooo Mason did you tell him" Miliya said her tail wagging happily.

"N-no..." I said feeling ashamed.

"Well it's ok since you still have plenty of time" Miku said hugging me.

"You guys are so clingy to him" Ashton laughed.

Just before the girls were about to squeal Terrence and Luke walked up to the table and sat down.

"Hey guys" Luke said.

I felt myself start to heat up as I sunk into my seat to hide my face.

"Mason you ok" Terrence asked looking concerned for once.

"F-fine" I said.

"You know you've been having a red face since I seen you today are you sure you're ok" Luke said putting a hand on my shoulder.

I bit my lip as he got closer to get a good look at me. Suddenly the intercom went off and he pulled away to listen to it. Something about the bathroom I wasn't really paying attention. I looked over at Miku and Miliya who were smirking at me.

"way to go Mason" they whispered.

Last Time Skip...

After school I walked home with Miliya and Miku who were fangirling about what happened t lunch.

"You should've leaned in and kissed him" Miku said.

"Yes I had my phone out ready for it" Miliya said jumping up and down.

"E-even if I did h-he wouldn't kiss back.." I said as my tail stopped wagging.

The girls stared at me sadly and gave him a big hug.

"Oh Mason...It's ok" Miliya said hugging me tighter.

"Thanks Mil" I said.

After that we said our goodbyes since Miliya and Miku live in the same house. When I got home I went in my room and daydreamed about how it would be like to be with Luke.....
