Madison feels the bed shake slightly and groans in annoyance but doesn't attempt to move a muscle. The bed shakes harder and as she can hear a voice the pounding in her head becomes very obvious. The voice louder this time she recognises as her mothers, "Madison get up, we have guests coming over in 15 minutes so get up and get dressed." This made Madison groan even louder and she could hear Delilah who had also been woken up by the noise groan from her place on the mattress on the floor.

Madison made no effort to move even after she heard her mum huff and close the bedroom door. Madison remained in her stomach struggling to keep her eyes open, knowing that she should get up and get dressed and do what her mum has told her, and she would just 5 more minutes in bed wouldn't hurt.

5 more minutes turned into a lot longer seeing as though Madison had fallen asleep, again. Her mum this time shook her and wouldn't leave her room until Madison had sat up in bed. She could remember most of last night however after going inside with Delilah everything was blurry and she couldn't remember much of anything after that point and the pounding in her head made her want to curl up into a ball and never drink alcohol again, and she reached across to her dresser to have a drink out of her drink bottle seeing how dry her throat was.

She laid back in bed and picked up a pillow and threw it at Delilah to wake her up, to which Delilah mumbled some curse words under her breath and rolled over. Madison who was now on her phone scrolling through Instagram until she paused when she heard noise from downstairs and figured that whoever was coming over today was here. Madison vaguely remembers her mum talking to her dad the other day saying that they were having a BBQ with one of her old school friends, but at the time Madison just brushed it off and didn't take any notice.

Madison had her back facing the door and didn't move when she heard a knock on her door figuring it'd only be her mum, checking to see if she was awake. "Yes mum, I'm awake, I'll be down later!" At this Madison heard her door open and she rolled her eyes and inwardly groaned, still not bothering to move from her lying position and being on her phone.

"Uhh, I'm not your mum." At the sound of a boys voice, one which definitely wasn't her mums she sat bolt upright. Looking over to the source of the voice, regretting it when it hurt her head and once seeing who it was she wanted to bang her head against the wall.

As soon as Daniel recognised Madison a smirk came across his face. "Oh, don't you just look stunning this morning." Daniels eyes flickered down to her chest for a moment and Madison suddenly became aware that she was in a sports bra and short boxer shorts- something she normally sleep in but seeing as though Madison didn't even remember coming home she wasn't surprised she didn't know what she was wearing.

Madison quickly duvet up to cover her chest, trying to keep her voice as calm as possible she said, "what are you doing here."
"Well, you see my mum is friends with your mum and she invited us all over to have to BBQ with your family today."
You have got to be kidding me. "This is bullshit."
"Aww is someone always this grumpy in the morning or is it just the hangover that makes you like this." Daniel said with a fake pout walking halfway across Madison's room, his curious eyes looking around her room with interest.

"I'm not hungover" and as if predicting her next words Daniel open the blinds on the window blinding Madison, making her close her eyes and proving to Daniel that she did in fact have a hangover. "I know you'd have a hangover seeing how drunk you were at the party last night and how you nearly-"

"Can y'all shut the fuck up some of us are trying to sleep and you're being so loud and it's so early so go away." Delilah groggy voice came from the floor, startling Daniel but only making Madison roll her eyes, "it's nearly 11, D."

Delilah lifted her head an inch, eyes squinted, "My head hurts so much." It seemed realisation finally dawned on her and she sat up, her blonde hair all over the place and remnants of the makeup from last night smudged all over her face. "What did you say the time was?"

"It's 11." Madison repeated and Delilah's eyes widened, all the while Daniel was still standing on the other side of the room watching their interaction.

"Oh god, mum gets home at 12 and I have to be back before then." Delilah stressed running a hand through her messy hair, to get it out of her face. She looked up at for the first time acknowledged Daniels presence. "Can you leave? I need to get dressed."

Daniel smirked, "Oh, I don't mind, you can go right ahead."

Madison rolled her eyes, throwing a pillow at him this time, "Leave. If mum asks tell her I'll be down soon."

"You're so rude." Daniel replied jokingly with a roll of his eyes, throwing the pillow back at her. He then turned and went out the door- finally.

Delilah quickly got up and changed into clothes acceptable to wear home and quickly packed her bag, meanwhile Madison replied to some texts from Madeline.

"Can I have an Aspirin before I head off?" Delilah asked, while she was crouched on the floor shoving her clothes in her bag.

"Yeah sure, they're in the cabinet in the bathroom," Madison replied, getting out from under the warmth of her bed to get dressed and take some for her mild hangover as well.

While Delilah walked out of her room to go to the bathroom, Madison quickly slipped into a loose grey shirt and black leggings. Before she headed out of her room, headed across the landing to the bathroom, where Delilah had just taken an aspirin, handing one to Madison, to which she gratefully took.

Madison could hear people downstairs and she rolled her eyes, not wanting to socialise with any of them, just wanting to stay in her room and watch The Vampire Diaries all day.

Delilah grabbed her bag from Madison's room and together they headed downstairs together, throwing her hair up in a messy bun as she trotted down the stairs. She gave Delilah one last hug before Delilah went out the door and Madison shut it behind me.

Turning back around and heading in the direction of the noise when Brodie came running towards her. A happy and excited smile on his face, he ran and jumped into Madison's arms, and she picked him up with only a small struggle.

He smiled and kissed her cheek, his brown eyes sparkling as he grinned at Madison. "Hey buddy."
"Hey Madsi, I missed you!" he grinned, kissing her cheek sloppily again.
She smiled back at him, "you saw me yesterday though."
"Yeah, but still I missed you!"

She smiled again at the cuteness of her little brother. He squirmed in her arms and she put him back onto the ground before he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the doorway to the kitchen and living room, also the place where everyone was gathered and she inwardly groaned.

Madison walked through the doorway- well it was more like she was dragged- when she went through there was her mum and who she was assuming Daniels mum in the kitchen, her dad and his dad in the backyard and Daniel who was sitting in their lounge room with a smaller girl- who Madison assumed to be his younger sister- probably around Brodie's age sitting on the white carpet playing with some of Brodie's toys.

Only the eyes of her mum and Daniel turned to look at Madison as she walked through the door. She briefly glanced over at Daniel before her mum called her over in a tone of voice that was so obviously fake.

"Maddie, honey, please come over here for a second." Well if that isn't the fakest smile Madison's ever seen.
But still Madison walked over there regardless.
"Lisa, this is my daughter, Madison. Madison, sweetheart, this is one of my oldest friends, Lisa."

Lisa seemed pretty nice Madison thought and she shook her hand when Lisa put it out, "Nice to meet you Madison. I've heard a lot about you."
"Nice to meet you too." Madison smiled back at the lady.
"I believe you go to school with my son, Daniel." Madison tried not to roll her eyes.

Instead she replied with, "yeah, he's in a few of my classes I think." And she finished with an awkward smile.
"Oh that's nice." Lisa smiled politely back.
"Ok, honey, that was all, your father is cooking lunch on the BBQ right now so it shouldn't take too long." Madison faked a smile before turning and walking away.

She walked into the lounge room, and sat down on the lounge opposite of Daniel. She didn't say anything to him, she didn't look at him as she sat down and pulled out her phone, but she knew he was staring at her.

For a minute she tried to ignore to ignore him but as his staring was relentless, she felt a smile growing on her lips but still didn't look up from her phone, which was only the home screen.

A sudden burst of laughter escaped her, she couldn't help it. Brodie briefly looked up at her before continuing what he was doing. Madison finally gave up locking her phone and looking over to Daniel with a small smile, he wore a smirk on his face.

"Do you remember what you did last night?" Daniel spoke breaking the silence.
"What part exactly?"
"The part where-" before Daniel could finish his sentence he got cut off by Madison's mum standing at the doorway notifying them that lunch was ready.

Soon enough everyone had their own food and they were all sat around the table and what a surprise that Daniel had sat next to her. Brodie sat on Madison's other side and Daniel's sister who's named she learned was Zoe was in Brodie's other side.

Not long later, Madison finally finished her food and was engrossed in a conversation with her dad, when Daniel noticed that they had a spa. Soon enough Madison had found herself trudging up to her room to put on her bikini, because her and Daniel were going to go in together. Looking through her piles of clothes on her floor for her swimmers she wonders why she agreed to this.

In only a few minutes she walked out through the back door with her towel wrapped tightly around her. She briefly patted Shadow before walking over towards the spa where Daniel was already sitting.

With his stare on her she quickly dropped her towel putting it over the back of a chair and slipped into the warm water. She looked over at Daniel who was looking at her with a small smile on his face.

Locking eyes with him, she asked, "What?"
"Nothing, you just look really cute." He replied simply.
Madison just rolled her eyes but when she looked down at the water she couldn't help but smile slightly.

"So what from the party do you actually remember?" Daniel broke the short silence that had lingered between them.

Madison thought about it for a second, "I remember most of it, then it starts to get blurry, and the last thing I remember is walking back inside with Delilah to get another drink. Why?"

"You honestly don't remember?" Madison noticed there was a sparkle in his eye but didn't know what he was up to.
"That's what I just said."
Daniel made his way over to the same side of the spa that Madison was sitting on, "Do you wanna know what happened because I know about one part in particular."

Madison quirked her eyebrow, not having any idea where this was going but curious to find out, "Go on."
"Well you kissed me. More than once actually. I didn't know you were into me like that, buts it's nice to know." Daniel spoke calmly with a smile on his face as he looked at Madison.

"You're lying. There's no way I would do that." Madison looked back at him, completely horrified.
"Sorry, love, but you did."
Madison put her head in her hands mumbling a quiet, "oh my god."

"Oh and Madison, you're a good kisser."
