SUBJECT: Summer break journal

Dear students,
Over your summer break, we have asked you to keep a journal of your holidays. We hope you have a good time with friends and family and can't wait to see you back next school year.

Mr Dell

June 28th
HALLELUJAH SCHOOL IS OVERRRRR
It was nice to sleep in this morning (I say that like I ever sleep) and to not have to deal with people and school. This is my journal of my summer vacation (which I am VERY excited for) that has both been assigned by Mr Dell and also cause I want to record a trip I'm going on. What trip, you may ask? Well, you should know that May got a new job as Mrs Stark's assistant several months ago, (haha May and I are now running after the Starks together haha) and so now that we actually have MONEY that we can SPEND because we don't have to worry so much about BILLS... we decided to go around Europe :D
I'M EXCITEEEEED
THE LAST TIME I WENT TO EUROPE WAS 11-ISH YEARE AGO WHEN I LIVED IN IRELAND FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF MY LIFE

Downside to the trip: lots and lots of plane flights. I don't like planes. I'm going to die. Me + planes = no. no planes.
ANYWAY I will keep you updated on our wonderful trip and the rest of summer break!

-Peter

June 30th
WE'RE IN SWITZERLAAAAAAAND
AND I DIDN'T DIIIIIEEEEEEE :DDDDDD
The plane was surprisingly chill, despite my anxiety attack beforehand.... Haha-
BUT the flight attendant was really nice and even gave me a free hot chocolate, which was really nice of her, and I got some epic shots of the clouds with my camera.
So planes aren't that bad.
Except for Skyline Airlines.
You could NEVER pay me to fly with them.

After the flight we went to our hotel and packed for our very long hike across the Swiss Alps that we're doing tomorrow! Well, actually, for the next 8 days. It's going to be sooooo cooooooool!

-Peter :)

June 31st
HOLY BOCCONCHINI MACARONI AND CHEESESTICKS THE ALPS ARE STUNNING
I have so many cool shots and it's only been one day. I'm gonna print all the photos of the trip and get MJ to help me make a scrapbook for May's birthday.

It's been really nice to be surrounded by nature and not worry about problems. It's very peaceful. And also lots and lots of jokes and banter between May and I, especially a lot of dark ones from me. May pushed me into a lake after I told her that an orphan's favourite type of flour is self-raising flour. MJ would be proud of me for that one :D

Tonight we're camping under the stars and we'll be doing a lot of stargazing.

-Peter

August 1st
Ten days until my biiiirrrthdaaaaaaay
And also day 2 of hiking the Swiss Alps. THERE ARE SO MANY STARS AND I WANT THEM ALL AND THEY'RE SO PRETTY I AM INVENTING SOMETHING THAT SUCKS LIGHT POLLUTION OUT OF THE AIR AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME

This time I got to push May into a lake because she stole my banana.
It was my banana.
And I was hungry.
Hmph.

It's been nice to get some bonding time with May, cause we haven't really had the time lately with all that's been going on. I'm glad to see her smiling and having fun, even if we've been walking for 7 hours. That tells you how much of a queens she is. I love- no, LARB her to bits.
(great now she's reading over my shoulder HI MAY)

-Peter

August 7th
We're back in our hotel! We had a blast these past 8 days and I don't think I'm going to be spending nearly as much time coped inside on devices and schoolwork now.

When I finally looked in the mirror afterwards I did a double-take because I didn't look like myself for a second
SINCE WHEN DO I TAN???? HOW???? I'M HALF IRISH
May says it's the Mediterranean Italian in me.

I also definitely did not crash on the couch for three hours after a shower... Can I just say that I am sleeping SO WELL AND IT'S AMAZING
I'M GETTING MORE THAN THREE HOURS A WEEK
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol I feel like a child with so much energy.

Tomorrow we are heading down to VENICE and I'm PUMPED cause I've never been to Italy :)
EVEN THOUGH I'M PART ITALIAN
THANKS, DAD FOR NEVER TAKING ME
(then again he only got 6 and a half years to do so-)
(Look at me making more dark jokes)

-Peter

August 8th
WE ARE IN VENEZIA!
(Venezia = Italian for Venice)
THERE ARE SO MANY CANALS
WOW
May and I went on a gondola and it was great.
Venice is so gorgeous. We went all over the place, eating gelato and pure, authentic, Italian pizza and crostoli... It was so good.
The funniest part was that there were other American tourists there and the Italians were like "ok we got Americans here" but we were just another pair of Italians because we look Italian and sound Italian. Well, May looks Italian. I look Irish with brown hair and a tan.

I got an anniversary gift for MJ! It's a Black Dahlia necklace made out of Murano glass, and a daisy pendant for May out of Millefiori glass. (Millefiori means 'thousand flowers' which makes sense because it looks like a thousand flowers.)

We had a guy selling roses ask if we were dating. May started cackling cause my face when bright red because ew no
1. We're related
2. SHE'S 42 AND I'M NEARLY 16
EWWWWWWW NO

But I had the last laugh when pigeons decided she would make a perfect roost for them. It was hilarious and I have pictures that are 100% going in the scrapbook.

Tomorrow our stop is Rome!

-Peter, the Irishman speaking Italian

August 9th
Today is ROMAAAAAA (Roma = Rome)
We went to the Colosseum, took photos by the Trevi fountain, had lunch at the Piazza Navona, visited the Roman Forum and spoke Italian for like, the entire day. I nearly started this entry with "Oggi é ROMAAAAA" before realizing that you guys speak English.

QUICK ITALIAN LESSON

Hello/ good morning: Buongiorno
Goodbye: Arrivederci
Where is...?: Dov'è...?
Let's go: Andiamo
The toilet: il bagno
Food: il cibo

I'll do more later :)

-Pietro (Italian form of Peter, apparently)

August 10th
*inhale*
TANTI AGURI PER ME
TANTI AGURI PER ME
TANTI AGURI CARO MEEEEEEEEEEEE
TAAAANTI AGUUUUURIIIIII PEEEEER MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
(May is currently hiding in the bathroom to avoid my screeching)

IT'S MY BRIRTHDAY!
I MADE IT TO 16!
WITHOUT DYING!
(I nearly have, on several billion occasions.)
(Don't ask.)

Happy birthday: buon compleanno

Today we are in Napoli (Naples), where May grew up. Word of advice from May when visiting Napoli:

1. Don't make it obvious that you're not a tourist because there are scams
2. Be careful with pickpockets

Apart from that, Naples was pretty nice. We went to the beach and had a birthday picnic (we had lots of gelato and torte) and we swam in the waves. I won't stop tanning, no matter how much sunscreen I put on, so if I come back looking like I've spent my days in the sun, it's cause I have.

We did a Pompeii museum and May nearly left me alone when I wouldn't stop singing the song 'Pompeii'. So I switched to 'Come Un Pittore', which she enjoyed such better, and it ended up with a group of people listening because I have inherited my mother's voice, i.e. I can sing. Well.

Dinner was delizioso with a creamy fettucini with chicken and MMMMMM IT WAS AMAZING I'M MAKING IT FOR DINNER AS SOON AS WE GET BACK

-The Birthday Boy

August 11th
Today is the end of Italy, and we are now in PAREEEEEEEE *cue me singing "Paris Holds The Key to Your Heart" while May wallops me with a pillow*

We had croissants and chocolate eclairs, which were really nice (May keeps on picking on how I say croissant. I DO NOT say quackson. It's how the English say it.) I didn't have to play translator today though because May took French in High School. Fancy-shmancy pants.

After that May demanded that we go shopping for clothes because quote unquote "You need to be more educated in fashion, Peter."

I LIKE MY SHIRTS THOUGH
THEY'RE FUNNYYYYYY
AND THEY MAKE MJ SMIRK
WHICH IS PRACTICALLY A LAUGH
DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT MAY (she's wiggling her eyebrows at me)
But yeah, we went shopping in the city of fashion and now I think I need a second wardrobe.

We did a little tour on Parisian and French history, which MJ would have LOVED because French Revolution = death and beheading. Hey, my girlfriend is weird and I love her for it. We have picnics in cemeteries, much to Ned's fear.

We had dinner in the EIFFEL TOWER (MJ is so jealous lol) and it was REALLY COOOOOL! I got some really pretty shots of May's silhouette with the city lights behind her that are 10000000% going in the scrapbook.
MJ loves the scrapbook plan.
She also demands that I bring her something from Paris, so I got her a snow globe of the Notre Dame and a pin of Marie Antoinette that has a detachable head :D She approves.

Tomorrow we're leaving for Spain, which will be really fun.

-Pierre (Why is this form of Peter cool though????)

August 12th
WE'RE IN MADRID
AND IT'S SUPER COOL

May had no idea what everyone was saying because it sounded like Italian, but also incredibly different ( HAHA SEÑORA GARCIA, I HAVE A REASON FOR SAYING LA MACCHINA INSTEAD OF EL COCHE!) so I got to play traductor and spoke Spanish for May. Be proud of me Señora Garcia, I tried.

We had lunch in the Buen Retiro Park, which was fun (I CAN'T STOP TANNING THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS WHEN ARE WE GOING TO RUSSIA-) and I got lots of pretty pictures. I showed May how to use my camera and she is a natural at photography (Ben probably taught her too lol) so now I have a bunch of photos of me too.

We had tortillas and churros for dinner and dessert, so we were both in a food coma. May dared me to eat and entire chilli and IT WAS SO HOT! It didn't help that I have educated May in the world of vines and memes so the entire time she was like "he needs some MILK" and that just made me laugh even harder.
It was fun though.

Tomorrow is Austria and I'm looking forwards to seeing the National Technical Museum.

-Pedro (I refuse to be a Pedro ever)

August 13th
WE'RE IN PRAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!! (Prague) WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- *cue May shoving a pillow in my face to stop me from squealing)

WeWentToTheNationalTechnicalMuseumAndItWasSuperAwesomeAndCoolAndThereWereCoolThingsEverywhereAndItWasEpicAndAhhhI'mGeekingOut-
Sorry, I had to rant. IT WAS SO AWESOME!!!!!! I got Ned a little robot keychain, so hope he likes it.

We also went to Deutschland (Germany) today too and did a WWII tour, which was super cool and informative. Hopefully we do WWII next year and I ace the test :D I got to play translator again (thank you Bucky for your crash course in German) and May won't stop going on about how "talented" I am. *rolls eyes in not talented*
May's Note: PETER BENJAMIN PARKER YOU ARE TALENTED QUIT INVALIDATING YOURSELF

I'm excited cause next we're going to Russia, then to Britain, then to IRELAAAAAAAAAAAAND
TÁ AN-SCEITIMÍNI ORM-
Home sweet hommmmmmmmeeeeeeeee
Mo bhaile, mo Éirinn...

SEE YOU TOMORROW
- Petr (Apparently the German form of Peter is still Peter)

August 14th
WE ARE IN THE MOTHERLAND! МОСКВА (Moskva, or Moscow in Russian) HERE WE COME!
May's note: He won't stop singing "A Rumor in St. Petersburg" from Anastasia and I blame Natasha for watching it a bazillion times with him... great, now he's cackling like a maniac.

We had so much fun here. I'm a lot more fluent in Russian than I am with German, French and Spanish, so I had a blast talking with Russians. May was convinced I was grumpy at someone when I was actually saying thank you and complimenting them XD Thank you Natasha (a family friend) for your wonderful lessons, be proud of me here in your home country.

Speaking of Natasha, I got her a Russian nesting doll, or Babushka as they say, and a little keychain of a pointe shoe because she also does ballet. (Yes she teaches me that too. Amongst other things that totally, 100% do not involve ANY weapons or fighting skills...)

We went to different space and history museums, which were really cool, then after dinner we watched an orchestra play a bunch of Tchaikovsky's greatest pieces, including March Slav and 1812 Overture. THEY HAD CANNONS. ACTUAL. LIVE. CANNONS> IT WAS EPIC!!!!! And now we are back in our hotel and getting ready to have some tea and biscuits in Britain. I'm gonna have so much fun pranking May with my British accent lol.

- Питер (Piter)

August 15th
WE'RE IN LONDON, DARLING!
So apparently I pick accents up stupidly quickly because we were in London for FIVE MINUTES and I was annoyiong May with a horrible British accent then ten minutes later I sound like a legitimate native of south-west London and I can't stop. I now drink tea, darling, and I refuse to ever call chips "fries" again.

We went to the Tower Bridge, did a tour of English history, (lots of beheading, plagues and death. People got concerned about how I knew about that, thank you MJ for your educating rants,) and went to more science museums because I am a massive nerd. I was like a five-year-old who got told we were having ice-cream.

Then we had fish and chips and ice-cream and they were AMAZING and we also had tea, (non-caffeinated because ya boi goes hyper on that stuff,) and I love it and I am buying a teapot and I am drinking tea from that and I am never drinking anything else ever again and I will be an old grandpa and still be drinking tea and... May's looking at me with a concerned look. Oh boy, she wants to take my to a psychologist again NO THANK YOU-

We also went to Buckingham Palace, which was really awesome. The guards are so dedicated to their job too. It's insane. And I kept on confusing people when I told them that we're from the USA because I sound SO STUPIDLY BRITISH IT'S RIDICULOUS-

Anyway I am PUMPED for tomorrow sudhaihyagfyaiwgfiygfiy May is about to murder me cause I refuse to speak anything but Irish/Gaelic lolllllllll

August 16th
Táimid ag dul abhaile táimid ag dul abhaile! WE'RE GOING HOME TO ÉIREANN!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-

I could not sit still at all.
Haha.

WE WENT TO THE TOWN I USED TO LIVE IN AND IT'S SO CUTE AND WE SPOTTED MY OLD NEIGHBOUR AND SHE RECOGNIZED ME AND SAID I LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE MY MOM-

AHHHHHHH- *screeches louder than humanly possible*
It was amazing. I shocked some older folks by speaking Gaelic, cause not many people speak on nowadays, but it was fun and I enjoyed it very, very much.

...my Irish accent has also kicked in and I don't think it will be leaving anytime soon.
That will ve fun when I get back to school and EVERYONE will be so confused... heheh.

We walked through gardens and had plenty of fun in Ireland, going down memory lane and looking at how things have changed. I took May to a little café I remember from when I was little that I loved and it was very delicious.

Tomorrow we're heading back to the US of A, which is bittersweet because I am excited to go back home and be with my friends, but Europe has also started to feel like home to me too. I'm gonna miss it here, but I will definitely be back. If May ever decide we're moving here I will already be on the plane, (with Ned and MJ smuggled aboard teeheehee)

-Peadar (what the heck)

August 17th
We are back home and I am exhausted. I'm so ready for sleep, which I never say because I always end up collapsing and passing out due to lack of sleep at least twice a month, but that's a whole other problem, but tonight I am ready for a deep sleep.

My Irish accent is still strong, no matter how hard I try, and I'm still incredibly tanned, but who am I to complain? Change is good every now and then, though MJ and Ned are confused as heck.

I really liked the trip. It was wonderful to be able to relax and take a break from life with May cause we both needed it, and I'm glad to have her by my side. Thisis probably my last entry cause I'm not doing anything else particularly interesting, apart from watching the stars on the roof, chasing after Mr Stark with his coffee, planning romantic dates, procrastinating starting school, wandering aimlessly around the house out of boredom and doing random equations for the sake of equations.
I'm a complex person.

See you all in a couple of weeks! (Gosh I'm going to be a JUNIOR what the HECK-)

-Peter Parker :)
