The next week went smoothly. You decided to go to this party Semi invited you to, even though you didn't have high expectations about it. In fact, you decided that if it got too intense, you'd simply leave it.

Friday evening

The team's trainings became way more difficult and each player was targeted by different exercises depending on their weaknesses.

After today's training, you went to the park to find Oikawa, as usual. You decided to tell him about tomorrow's party, as it was the first high school party you were attending.

At first, he frowned a bit and seemed hesitant. But he knew he couldn't forbid you to go.

He sighed. "Just call me if anything happens or if you need me."

"I can take care of myself you know." you said, pouting.

"No you're still a baby in my eyes." He mimicked a baby crying. You punched him playfully "Shut up."

You woke up lazily and checked your phone. It was 10am, so you got up, showered, had breakfast and brushed your teeth. The party was way later, and Semi told you he'd pick you up around 6pm.

You were a bit anxious for it tho, because it was your first party, and you expected it to be... like a party. 'I wonder if there will be alcohol...'. But the most stressful thing was that you wouldn't know anyone there, or maybe just people you saw a few times at school, so... yeah.

Semi better be reasonable because he's the only person I can count on. I don't even know why I accepted his invitation... Oh right, Tendou forced me to do it.

You smiled. 'I don't even know what I'm going to wear. Do I wear a dress ? I'm not a fan of dresses... but it's a party, won't it be a bit weird if I show up in jeans ?'

You kept thinking about it for a few seconds and opened your wardrobe to see if you had a dress that wasn't too uncomfortable.

After a few minutes standing in front of all your folded clothes, you sighed. "So I really don't have anything to wear..." you muttered. "Well, I still have time before the party."

You went to see your mother. "Mom can I go buy a dress for tonight's party ?"

She slowly lifted her head from the book she was reading. "Hm ? Uh yeah sure go on."

"Thanks" You went back to your room to get ready, took money and got out.

After approximately two hours and a half of trying on dozens of dresses, you eventually bought one and went back home.

"Hi I'm back." you said when you opened the door.

"What took you so long ?" frowned your mother.

"Hihi... I couldn't find a dress I liked."

She sighed and smiled. "So did you buy one or not ?"

"I did ! And I kinda like it..."

"You better do ! When does your 'friend' come pick you up ?"

"Oh um... later." You checked the time, you still had a bit more than three hours.

"Okay have lunch and go prepare yourself." (I just realised that it means we had lunch at 3pm, but ok 😃)

It was 5pm and you started panicking because you didn't see the time pass and now you were gonna be late.

You decided to style your hair naturally, and not attach it. You picked your shopping bag and got the dress out. You stared at it for a while, skeptical. 'I've never worn a dress like this, I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable in it...'

You put it on anyway and looked at your reflection in the mirror.

(That's the dress I imagined, you can imagine anything you want... but damn you're hot 🥵)

It's too short... and too revealing... and too tight... but the dress is pretty.

You sighed. "Guess I'm stepping out of my comfort zone." you whispered to yourself.

You headed in the bathroom to put on a bit of makeup, which you didn't do really often : concealer, mascara, eyeliner, highlighter and lip gloss.

Then you went back to your room, put on some accessories and took a little handbag to put in your phone and other little stuff.

You heard your mom arriving. "Hey Y/n are you ready I didn't see the dress."

"Oh yea-"

"Damn you have taste why don't you wear dresses more often ?" She started checking you out, embarrassing you.

You laughed nervously. "I don't know..."

You looked at the time, it was 5:45. "Sh*t, I'm gonna be late". You put on your shoes and took your phone to see where Semi was (here you can imagine anything you want like if you don't like heels just put some snickers idc 😀).

Semi 😁

Hey are you there soon ?

Yes in a few minutes :)

You remembered you forgot to put on perfume so you went back to your room to put some on, but while you were gone, you heard someone knocking at the door. 'Crap.'

"Mom I'll open the door don't worry !" You started running for the door but found your mom on the landing smiling at someone. 'Oh no.' you thought.

"Mom I said I was-"

"Y/n why didn't you tell me you had such a charming friend ?" she asked innocently. You turned your head and saw Semi smiling awkwardly. When he saw you, he started blushing and avoiding your gaze.

"Hi Y/n ! Um... are you ready to go ?"

"Yes ! Let's go." you answered hastily.

"Okay have fun you two !" said your mom before shutting the door behind you. You walked away and remained silent for a few seconds when he decided to break the silence.

"You're really pretty in that dress Y/n..." he muttered.

You smiled, a bit embarrassed. "Thank you." There was another awkward silence before you asked "Are we going there on foot ?"

"Oh no my sister is driving us there she's parked not very far from here."

"I didn't know you had a sister that's pretty cool." (Honestly I have no idea if he has a big sister but in this story he does 😇)

He blushed a bit. "Yeah..."

As you got out from his sister's car, you started hearing music from the house you stopped in front of. The door was open and you could already see a few people moving inside. 'Let's go.' you thought.
