After you ended the call, you sighed and laid on your bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking. 'He looked really mad when that guy tried to touch me...'. As you started getting comfortable, you heard your mom shouting at you to come.

"I'm coming !"

You slowly got up and joined your mom in the living room.

"Sit next to me please. Y/n, can we talk ?"

You frowned. "Sure, is there a problem ?"

"Well, I know you've been seeing someone lately, you told me the volleyball trainings finsh at 7pm but you're always coming home around 8, and we don't live that far from your high school. So... are you hanging out with someone every night ? Is it Tendou ?"

She's worried. Do I tell her the truth ?

"Mom... don't worry, I'm not doing anything bad, I think ? Yes, I've been seeing someone lately, but it's not Tendou..."

Her eyes widened a bit and she took your hands in hers. "Who is it then ?"

"A friend. You already met him, when you told me to hang out more with people after I came back from the supermarket the other day."

"Oh right... I remember this guy. But what I meant was not to hang out with people at 8pm ! And I don't know if I can trust him."

"Listen mom, I can't see him really often since we're not in the same high school, and he's nice and perfectly trustworthy."

She seemed to think for a few seconds and turned her head back at you. "I assume you can decide by yourself who is trustworthy and who is not." She smiled. "But try to be discreet, you know your father isn't a big fan of guy friends."

You smiled back. "I know. I'm going to sleep. Good night !"

"Have a good night sweetie."

As you turned around to get back to your room, she added something.

"Hey Y/n !"

"Mhmm ?"

"Do you perhaps... have feelings for this guy ?"

You felt your face heat up. You weren't facing your mom, but you could see the little smile on her face.

"No ! I don't... I only see him as a friend..."

She chuckled. "Okay I was just teasing you, you can go to sleep."

You sighed internally. As you entered your room, you quickly closed the door and leaned on it, still feeling your cheeks hot.

What the hell is wrong with me ? I don't have feelings for this guy. I mean, he's handsome and attractive, but that doesn't mean I have feelings for him. I can find a friend attractive, right ?

You sighed. 'I really need to stop overthinking. I was just taken away by the sudden question.'

You put on your pajamas and went to bed. You scrolled a bit on your phone before putting it down and falling asleep.

The next day

You woke up lazily and checked your phone : 11:30am. You were used to sleep a lot and wake up late during weekends but today you felt like you didn't get any rest. When checking your phone, you saw new messages from Tendou and opened them.

Do you have any plans for today ?
I'm hanging out with Semi and Ushiwaka if you want to join us.

Hey ! Sure at what time is it ?

2pm. Meet me at the park !

I wonder what they plan on doing. I'm not really used to hang out with Ushijima.

You got along pretty well with the team members, but you weren't really close to them, except for Tendou, and maybe Semi. You could say you were friends with him, thanks to Tendou, who was always trying to make you meet new people, and Semi was one of the first ones he introduced you to, and you ended up having the same interests and personality.

You couldn't say the same about Ushiwaka. 'I know everybody says it, and I'm just gonna repeat it, but he looks and acts like a robot, and that's fricking scary.' But he was not mean, just simple.

So I guess I'm not having breakfast since it is nearly noon.

You headed in the bathroom and took a quick shower. Then you got out, dried your hair and put on some fresh clothes. You went in the kitchen to have lunch, but you weren't really hungry so you didn't eat much. After that you went back to your room and started watching (fav/anime). Twenty minuted before you had to meet Tendou, you got up and started lacing your shoes.

"I can't believe my eyes. Y/N finally getting out of her room ! Better than that, going out of the house !" screamed your mom, teasing.

"Mom... I'm not that solitary."

"Yes you are ! Anyway, are you gonna see that boy ?~"

You rolled your eyes, suppressing a blush. "No I'm not ! I'm seeing Tendou and a few other friends."

"Okay have fun !"

"Bye..."

You arrived at the park five minutes early, but Tendou was already here. When he saw you, he ran up to you and gave you a side hug. You started walking.

"Sooo where are we going ? And where are Semi and Ushiwaka ?" you asked.

"I told them to meet us at 2:30pm in front of the movie theater."

"The movie theater ? So we're watching a movie ?"

"No shit Sherlock !" and he burst out laughing.

You blushed out of embarrassment. "Shut up, you didn't tell me anything in your messages... Anyway, what are we watching ?"

"Haven't decided yet. Do you prefer romance or horror movies ?"

"That's two completely different genres. I don't care, ask the guys what they want to watch when we see them."

"So indecisive..."
