Tris POV

I gently wipe my face with a napkin and place my hands in my lap. I look down

at Tobias and I's hands, clasped tightly together. While him and Caleb talked, I

just sat there and wondered. How could the sweet young man before me,

my own brother, betray me? He is so considerate and kind. Then again,

people change. I ask to be excused and leaves the table. I head for the

restroom. When I get in there I place my hands on the counter and lean over

the sink. I release a breath of air. "Wow do I feel crappy today." I turn on the

sink and the water rushed out. I splash it all over my face and grab a paper

towel. A gently place it on my face and just let it sit. While doing so, the

bathroom door creaked open. I looked up in the mirror and guess who was

behind me?

Amanda.

She stood there, a smile on her porcelain face. Her eyes read she was

about to do something absolutely diabolical. "So we meet again, Ms.

Prior." "So we do, Amanda." She leaned up against the wall, with her retarded

little smirk.

"So how's Caleb?" I now had the desire to punch her repeatedly in the face. "He's fine. Well, I'm gonna go. Bye."

I leave calmly. I just walked. She didn't even follow me. Weird. I walk out back to the table.

I tune both Caleb and Tobias out. Why is she here? I set aside the thought and enjoy the rest of my meal with my two favorite people.

When we got back to Dauntless, we hung out in The Pit and talked. After a while, Caleb broke a silence and asked something.

"Can I invite someone over to dinner tonight?" Tobias and I accept and we kept a steady conversation.

I look at my watch and see that it is almost 6. I nudge Tobias and tell him we should start to get ready for dinner.

We had reservations at a nice place in Erudite. We all went to get ready. I got on a strapless number with ruffles.

I wait by the door with my blue handbag. I then see Tobias and Caleb walk out, both wearing blue ties.

Caleb wore a bow tie and Tobias wore a straight one. We then jumped on the train and head for Erudite.

We arrive at the restaurant right on time. We walk in and find a woman with beautiful glasses and a calm voice.

"Reservation Caleb? This way please." She took us to a large booth in the corner of the room. We all sat and got comfortable.

My name is and I will be serving you today. What can I get you to drink?" "We are still waiting on someone so can you give us a few minutes?"

She nods and leaves. Caleb then gets a text. "She is pulling up. I'm gonna go greet her." He gets out of the booth and runs to the front.

Moments later he came back. He ushered for someone to come over. He then put his arm around her.

I sat there in horror. "Guys, I would like you to meet my girlfriend, Amanda Matthews."
