Tris POV

After a while, we finally came across our stop. I squeezed Tobias'

hand and dragged him off the train with me. We rolled onto the

dewie grass. He looked into my eyes with a surprised expression

and I started to laugh my butt off. I got up and dusted myself off.

Tobias held out his hand and I pulled it, bringing him to his feet.

We approached the fence and looked up at Tobias. So many stairs. I

started to walk up, Tobias on my flanks. This is gonna be a long day.

When we finally reached the top, I almost fainted. Luckily, Tobias

caught me, like he always does. We keep going until we reach the

exact spot. Slight breeze, beautiful view. Perfect. I sat down on the

edge so my feet were dangling off. I take a deep breath and start.

"So um..... You know who Amanda Matthews is, right?"

"Um, only

that she is Caleb's second in command in Erudite. Should I know

more?"

Crap. I totally forgot he wasn't there when I had the whole

conversation about being abducted and all.

"Well, she maybe, sort

of, kinda, might have kidnapped and brainwashed me. She was the

one who took me from you."

Right as I said it, I regreted it. Tobias shot up and

sped walked towards the way down.

"Where are you going,"

I ask, fear present in my voice.

"Tobias!"

I heard my scream echo in my head.

"I'm gonna go

strangle this, 'Amanda Matthews', to death with my bare hands!"

I catch up and grab his wrist.

"No. Not yet."

He tried to yank away

from my tight grasp but fails. To stop him from trying to get away

from me, I pull him close and connect my lips to his. Well boy, ha,

did that do something. He stops struggling and stays calm. I let go

of his wrist. He caresses my face, the kiss still going. I pull away for

air. I wrap my small arms around his neck and he holds my waist. I

embrace him.

"Now,"

I began once more.

"Can we get back to our

talk?"

He gives me an uncomfortable nod and walks back with me.
