Tris POV

I stand there waiting for Tobias and the others to get up to the roof.

The door burst open as Tobias ran through it. He was followed by

Christina and Uri. Tobias placed his hands on his knees.

"Are you

human Tris?"

I smiled at the reference. It was back at Dauntless

initiation. We were playing capture the flag with Eric. I wanted to

get to higher ground, so I climbed up a giant ferris wheel. Tobias

followed behind me, and not too long after I figured out his fear of

hights, he said the exact same thing. I said an enthusiastic

"Nope!"

He laughed and pulled me to his warm chest, his hand on my waist.

"Let's get this party started!"

said Uri ecstatically. I walked to the

edge of the balcony. I readied up and snapped on the zipline.

Tobias then touched my shoulder.

"You ready?"

"Yes."

He gently

pushed me and I was off. The wind was racing through my hair. I

put my arms out like I did before. I closed my eyes and relaxed.

The adrenalin rushed like a river. I started getting closer to the end

and heard,

"Pull the breaks!"

I snapped my eyes open,

remembering how close I was to having a collision with the board

before. I reached for the breaks and finally got a hold of it. I used

all the strength in my body to pull it. When I stopped I heard

cheers. I saw the crew under me, getting ready to catch me when I

fall. I detached from the zipline and fell into their arms.

"That was...

Amazing!" I said wide eyed.

"You were amazing!"

Tobias said

twirling me around in the air. I blushed and he kissed my cheek.

The rest of the night, we continued to zipline, get drunk, and laugh

at old memories I couldn't recall. I laughed anyways, their

expressions were funny enough. I really did miss these people.

Tobias pulled his phone out every now and then. When he did it

the third time I pulled him with me and said,

"Excuse us."

I walked

us to the other side of the roof and asked,

"What's going on? You're

checking your phone non-stop."

He sighed and said, "Tris, you

remember the faction system, right?"

I nodded.

"Well, they found

an underground society outside Chicago. They are taking them and.

.." He trailed off.

"What?"

"Tris, the faction system is back."
