Your POV

You sat in front of the mirror, brushing your hair back into a ponytail, getting ready for your daughters fifth birthday. It had been six years since the incident had happened, it felt so much like a distant memory. You pulled down your lower lip to inspect it, seeing no marking, nothing. You pushed the thoughts aside, shaking your head. You were so distracted, you didn't notice Mark walk in until he tapped your butt, making your jump. He chuckled as he reverse gyrated out of the bathroom, causing you to roll your eyes.

"It's been years since we moved in here, are you ever going to stop doing that?"

"Nope," he smiles, "come on, I got all the stuff loaded up."

You were going for a picnic at the local park before the birthday party at home.

"Alex, come on, let's go to the park," you yelled out to her.

She hurriedly rushed down the stairs, jumping up and down and then taking your and Marks hand, smiling up at the both of you.

----------Picnic In The Park------------

You sipped on some lemonade as you watched Mark and Alex run around in the flower covered field. You relaxed in the sunlight as the time passed on, waiting for them to get tired.

"Mommy!" Alex exclaimed as she ran up to you.

She held out the flowers she and Mark had picked, a cute smile on her face. Mark was still a ways out, still picking some.

You smiled, "But, Alex, it's your birthday, silly!"

"Daddy is picking some for me too! We're gonna make crowns!" She giggled.

"Alright," you say, reaching out to the flowers.

Her arm jerks downwards and throws the flowers to the ground, her face just a shocked as yours. She turns her head, and stares as if someone was there.

"Okay," she says, nodding her head.

"Alex? Sweetie, what..."

"He says, 'What will the doctor do now?'"

That's to say, I was totally planning on doing something like this.

There was a lot of time where the story was going to go in an infinate number of directions, and this was the ultimate outcome.

I cannot thank you all enough for supporting me though this all, since this is my first fanfic (if you can really call it that XD)

I went through a lot of tough times through this all, but I'm glad/saddened it finally finished. (With this many parts, lets hope it's finished.)
