Izuku's POV:

I was honestly soo happy that Kacchan was actually carrying me around because I was in the water for sooo long that I forgot how it is to actually walk again. Still I was glad that there was a small tank in the room but seeing the other people was quite a bit surprising.

Me: Sooo what ya wanna know?

Nezu: Well Midoriya, what is your quirk? That is if what you can do is a quirk...

Me: As you can see a mermaid attribute. I can swim and survive in the ocean as I did for soo many years. Any more need to explain?

Nezu: Naomasa, is he telling the truth?

Naomasa: Yes

Nezu: Hm, I see. Midoriya where are your parents? And what are their quirks?

Me: You really thought I would lie about this? And please drop the Midoriya just call me Izuku.

Nezu: I'm sorry Izuku.

Me: It's fine. Kacchan you know better where my mom is than me. As of her quirk... i think it was something about telekinesis.

Katsuki: Me- oh yeah... She's most likely at home, work or helping my hag calm down because she thinks I'm in danger.

Me: Anyway Nezu, right?

Nezu: Yes.

Me: I basically vanished for years soo I don't know much about this stuff just ask Kacchan here. This will get you more informations for sure.

Nezu: Oh well then Mr.Bakugou... I have my own queries about Izuku's quirk. As soon as I found about his quirk, I looked him up in the database for quirked individuals and he was nowhere to be found... Why's that?

Me: Ah late bloomer. I was told be quirkless at first but it changed....tho we did went to see a doctor at some point...

Katsuki: Yeah, he's right... Though the day Izuku disappeared... was the day everyone and I mean everyone, except me forgot he even existed.

Me: huh. . . Really? I thought they just stopped looking.

Katsuki: No... The day after I couldn't find you, I asked Auntie about you and she was confused and asked what did I mean she had a son..

Me: Weird. . . I didn't know about this. . . I don't think it has something to do with my quirk tho.

Nezu: Well, do you have any ideas?

Me: Nope.

Throughout the whole interview I didn't lie at all. There was really no reason to lie at all. However the last part was somewhat not completely true. I had a hunch but not quite an idea about it. My quirk was after all not just my fin and the ability to breath under water. I could have shark teeth and also quite sharp nails for hunting and I have a feeling that the whole forgetting story was a passive element of my quirk as well but I didn't want to have that real so I didn't tell anyone about this at all.

Hmmm...

I wonder if that truth telling detector right there will pick that up.

It's not completely a lie that I don't have any ideas I just don't think or wanna believe it is like this.

It wouldn't make much sense why Kacchan didn't forget about me.

Ah it's complicated.

At least he didn't ask more about my quirk at the beginning.

Thank god we do understand different things about mermaids.

There were stories about mermaids being creatures that would lure sailors into the sea. They were described as people with a fish fin amd a beautiful voice. However there was also that saying about them being vicious creatures which could tear everything down into minutes, Apax predators to make it short.

Me: Anything else?

Aizawa: Nezu may not be have any but I do... How are you able to calm the problem child down?

Me: The what?

Did he just call that Dandelion, Pomeranian or even my Kacchan a problem child?

Katsuki(proudly): It's what he calls e for being a pain in the ass.

Me: so he means you?

Katsuki: Yeah.

Aizawa: So tell me. What's your secret?

Me: How about Desire or Lust?

Me: Hahaha I didn't mean it that way.

Nezu: Well shall you enlighten us then?

Me: Oh do I have to? Cause Kacchan how about you just tell them what annoys you and that would be it.

While I said that I decided to splatter a bit of water playfully towards Kacchan who didn't really react badly about it. To top that off I had my fin a bit up and out of the tank so I could imply towards what he did.

Me: I am sure he can enlighten you all more, right?

Katsuki(blushing like a sinner in church): Izuku!!! I can't say that!!

Me: Oh and you expect me to do it? I gladly will cause ama dip in a couple of days again anyways.

Katsuki: Whatever just say it... And make sure to stay in touch, I'll see what I can do...

Me: Mhhhh~.....(Whispering) they will forget me soon anyways... .

Katsuki: I don't think I'll ever do that Izuku... You're too- I mean... don't worry about it.

Me: Not you but them!

Katsuki: Oh... yeah, you're right.

Me: Jesus... you could think about it for a bit... Anyways when can I get back into the ocean?

Nezu: Recovery girl said she'll help so in a few days... three at most.

Me: . . . And you expect me to stay in a tank till then?

Aizawa: I don't think Katsuki would mind you staying in his dorm since your mother and your family friends don't remember you.

The moment he mentioned something about dorm, I felt as if they would try to cage me in and limit my freedom. To be honest I didn't even hear the rest past don't mind and splashed water towards the hero. I could feel my teeths getting pointy which happened when I would get aggravated. Of course I didn't wanted reveal it to anyone at all. I didn't quite trust these heroes yet.

Katsuki(patting his tail): Izuku, calm down. I have a tub in my bathroom and we have a huge pool. The rat won't mind you swimming in it right, Rat?

Me:.. . .

Kacchan may have started to pat my fin until I quite slapped his hand way with it. I was done playing nice here and I was quite out of patience as well.

Me: Anything more you need to know? If not Kacchan get me out of here!

I really need some more space than this!

Katsuki: Where to then love?

Me: Anywhere else with more space if you don't wanna end up as sushi on my table.

A threat I really meant and wasn't just empty words. I was very well of capable of doing that. Besides that one detective was making me really uncomfortable.

Katsuki: Ok then, want to go to the beach for a bit, the docks are away from people so you can swim around for a bit. I'll bring you back tomorrow so RG can heal you a little.

Me: sure!

Tho it will not be for a bit.

First chance I have ama dip!

Katsuki: I have a leash in my dufflebag, this is a warning.

Me: . .. Wanna put me on a leash now? You heroes are all nuts!

Katsuki: I can basically read your mind Izuku. This is just to make sure you don't swim off and injure yourself more.

Me: Screw you Kacchan! And a leash is not stopping me!

He really forgot about my nails...

They are sharp enough to actually cut through metal a bit.

Katsuki: I will... Izuku just for three days...

Me: try me!

I am atill gonna get away for sure!

Katsuki(solemly): I'll just leave you in there for the whole three days then... and when you can be let go I won't even come here... You probably won't ever see me again. Maybe Kirishima wants to go out.

At that moment he went too far and my nails or more like claws came out and I supported myself on the end of the tank to splash some of the water tower Kacchan as a threat to not think I wouldn't do it.

Me: Sure do it! I lived without you or any humans and I don't need you or anyone! Just put me back where you found me!

Katsuki: Do you really mean that? Cause I see the frustration Izuku, just like me you are incredibly stubborn and don't like admitting to anything.

Was I dangerous to anyone in the room right now?

Yes.

I saw the inspector jump up from the seat and moving away and the hero stepping back as well. Something must have warned them that I was dangerous right now but I didn't care less.

Katsuki: I want all three of you to give me and the fish some time alone.

Me: Forget it and leave me be!

Katsuki: No, I don't care if you never want to see me again but if that's the case I don't want it to be on bad terms or because of something as petty as me joking about going on a date with someone who smells like hair gel.

Me: You're the one who wanted to put me on a damn leash Kacchan!

Katsuki: And I was joking, you were going to swim off with dangerous injuries

Me: Well no joke if you ever been captured before!

Katsuki: And I'm sorry about that, will you stop shouting and talk to me? And retract those nails so I can pick you up and carry you to see blanche?

Me: Hmpf!

Katsuki: Are you ready to talk now?

Me: Are we done here anyways?

Katsuki: Yes, with them *points to the other three who were leaving*, I want to speak with you alone.
