It's mid-June, we're still in school, everyone's outside except for me.

Where am I? I'm sitting inside, watching everyone from afar by myself. Yes, I have friends, it's just today I prefer to be alone.

I'm forced to go outside after the teachers yells, but everyone is already heading in, so I trail behind them.

Some boys are fooling around on the empty road next to us, and I see someone from my class, a boy I don't particularly like.

Some of the boys friends head back to the sidewalk, but the boy is still walking on the center of the road, calling out and teasing his friends to join him, but they laugh it off and tell him they'd get in trouble, so he shrugs his shoulders calling them cowards.

I sigh, sometimes people can be very stupid, and I look up while squinting, the sun is beating down hard, and I feel tried and dizzy by the heat. I look back down, and towards the road, and I see a car coming, I shut my eyes for a few seconds to see if I'm imagining it since this is an abandoned road, but I see the car, and it's heading towards the boy.

The boy hasn't noticed the car, in fact, no one has noticed the car, a few people who aren't talking to anyone notice it. The car's about to hit him, and I don't know what drove me to do this, but I start sprinting, and I shield the boy from the car, my blood dripping everywhere, and it's at the scream of a girl and the noise of the impact that everyone notices the car.

As I'm falling out of consciousness, I see some of my friends looking at me surprised, and I also see the boy, we don't particularly like each other, or to be blunt, we just hate each other, I'm not sure why he hates me, but I just hate him back, simple as that, but I think I might've fallen for him.
