Carmella's P.O.V...

Today is the first day of spring breake. I'm packing up because my family is going down to Seaside Oreogon for a week.

But, sadly this means staying far away from Zach. And restless hours of sleep beacuase of Karlie's constent screams and cries.

Maybe I'll be able to spend time with my mom and make a better connection with her.

It's unlikley but I'm willing to have just a little bit of hope. I fold my blue glitter shirt dress and put it in my suitcase.

"Mom did you wash my mauve skirt?!" I shout for her to hear from the room.

"Yes, here I had it." She throws it to me and I fold it setting it on top of everything else.

I zip up the suitcase and grab it, then grab my make up and hygenal bag. I make my way downstairs and wait for my parents to come down too.

My mom comes first hobbling with luggage and my baby sister she puts the luggage in the back and my sister in her seat.

I sit in the car with her, after ten minutes my dad gets in. "Is everyone ready?" He asks, "yup."

He starts the engine and we start the long hour and fourty-five minute drive. Considering traffic in all.

"Hey, did you bring any snacks since we skipped breakfast?" I ask my mom, she hands back a chocolate chip muffin.

"Thanks." I bite into it, the melty bittersweet chocolatiness spreading onto each and every tastebud.

I induldge in the buttery flavour and the fluffieness gained from chewing on it.

I take another munch out of it and chew as I stare out the window. The sun shines bright and warmth barries it's way through the glass and seeps into my face. Causing the one part too get hot, so I look away and eat more.

"Did we get a two bedroom place?" I ask my mom. "No, we got a one room place add Shilo inn. But you'll get a bed, and your dad and I will get one next to you. Then Karlie will stay in her crib, it's a qauint and nice room though." She says.

"Okay, can't wait till we get there. How long are we staying again. I was thinking about it earleir but I forgot."

"A week, it should be a long enough span for all of us to spend time and enjoy eachother." I nod my head.

I'm glad my mom's mood seems better, I can already tell this is gonna be better then last spring break.

"Wow, this is a cute little room." I say gazing around. I set my bag down on my bed.

I go in the bathroom and run my fingers along the granite marble couters.

Then go back to the main room and unpack, after finishing I lay back on the bed. "We have to find a place to eat." My mom says.

"Yah, I'm starving after the long drive, waiting for our room, and unpacking." I say, "hey tommorow night me and you are gonna hang out." My mom says to me.

A smile stretches across my face and I nod. "Okay." "So, anyone have any suggestions of what to eat?"

"Pizza, seafood, burgers, corn dogs.
Or we can go to Funland and eat there. it's not too far from the hotel." I say.

My mom thinks for a moment. Then turns to look at me. "Okay, sounds fun." She says, my mom puts Karlie in a stroller and brings a jar of baby food.

Then opens the door and we go into the hall. The door slams shut, the noise is really loud. If you put your finger in there, let's just say you'd be a finger short.

We arrive at the arcade and sit at a table. My mom puts Karl's in a high chair and hands her a toy.

Then sits down, she scoots her chair in and grabs a menu. I grab one after her and look around bored.

"May I help you guys with your orders?" A handsom and bold voice asks. I look up to see him. Realizing I havn't decided.

"I really havn't decided, so what do you suggest?" I ask him.

"Well, the pizza is really good. But if your a little more of a foodie I suggest you try our burgers." He says.

"Burger it is." "And would you like the secret sauce?" I nod, "and spicy fries. With rasberry lemonade." I add.

I take my first bite out of my burger. The salty, spicy, strong, juicy flavour splurting in my mouth.

Sending my tastebuds in a frenzy of wanting more. I take another bite and set it on the plate.

I chew, and chew, and chew. Chew untill it's grinded up enough to swallough.

I grab a fry and dip it into the spicy dressing sauce and eat it. My tongue tingles and starts to burn and slightly itch.

"Wooh, this is a little spicy." I say, I take a sip if my drink which swishes out the heat. "Well, is it good?" My mom asks me.

"Yah, it's really good, a nice kick to it." I say. I eat another bite of my burger and some meat gets stuck in between my teeth.

I try to get it out with my tongue and it falls on my tongue. I swallough it in disgust and eat more fries.

"Is everyone finding everthing to their liking?" He asks, I nod. He's so respectfull and cute. I eat the last three bites of my burger and a few sips of my drink washing it down completely.

Everyone eats up and Karlie eats her baby food. After paying the bill we walk back to the hotel and start to settle in.

I strip down until I'm completely naked. I put my hand under the shower head to see the warmth of the water.

When it's too my liking I get in and start to wash my hair. I add the sampoo and the thick white soap lays on top.

It runs down my head to the drain, the same thing with my soap. I add conditioner and wash it out. But this time I can't see any suds.

When I get out I dry of untill only a few droplets lay on my neck and breasts.

I put on socks, pink silk pants, and a black tank top with a large pink bow on the top.

I blow dry my hair, the hot wind causing my hair to blow in many different ways.

I grab my straightener and plug it in waiting for it to beep. After three minutes it beeps and I straighten every section. Setting my warm, long, straight, blonde hair in french braid.

I walk to the side of my bed and trow off the long pillow. I get in the covers and lay down.

My parents lay in the other bed and watch Naked And Afraid on the t.v.
I look at it and watch too.

"Oh lorde the leeches are in her hair." My mom says disturbed. I watch untill my eyelids are ao haevy they close.

Athor's Note...

Hello! So I wrote about Seaside Oregeon today because I have been there with my family. I went to stay at Shillo Inn with them and other family members. The place and beach were beautiful. I enjoyed visiting Funland with my family as well. The games there were great, like deal or no deal. Along with other fun adventures you'll have to journey forth with your family.
