I slip into the dress I had made.

It is beautiful, I put my hair in a flower bun a loose curl on each side of my face.

I do a light and simple make up, then slip on silver heels. To top it all of a rose crown that matches the color of my dress.

The doorbell rings and I panic quickly putting on my leather jacket and rushing down the stairs.

I have to see Zach before my mom does, then I'd be emmbarresed. That's all my mom does embarrass me.

She has never been the greatest, I have a bad relationship with her. Always have, even though I have parents it doesn't feel like they are.

I grab his hand and rush us out, we get in his car and drive off. "Why'd you leave in such a hurry?"

"Because, I don't wanna talk to my mom. She's only gonna talk and bring up embarrassing memories." I say shifting my gaze from the house to the front.

"Look, can we move on. I don't want to talk about it." "Okay, what do you wanna talk about?" He asks.

"Anything but my parents." I say, he laughs and begins a conversation.

We arrive to the dance that's being held in the cafeteria. A dj plays on the stage with fog machines.

White and gold sparkley balls hang from the ceiling. Gold and white streamers and balloons surround us.

Everything is like a cool music video. In a corner is a long table filled with food.

"What do you wanna do first?" Zach asks, "take all the food and run."

He laughs fixing his light pink tie that matches dress. "I'm afraid that we can't do that." I put on a frowny face and he smiles.

We walk to where people are dancing. Then start dancing to Carolinè.

He does a dab and then we start doing mad dabs. After almost dying of whip lash I stop.

He starts mouthing the words and doing little signals as he dances. A couple people pull out their phones to Snapchat it.

We walk over to the table with food, I grab a paper plate and start placing food on it.

I put strawberries, two cookies, pineapple chunks, five jumbo cocktail shrimps. The sit down and begin eating.

My stomach grumbles as I chomp down on my strawberry. "So, what do you think of my dress?" I ask him.

"It's beautifull." He says, "thanks, I made in desighn class." "You made that?" He asks as he drops his mouth.

I snort and nod, "your so talented." "Why thank you," my phone buzzes and I see my dad texted.

Come home A.S.A.P your mom she's giving a home birth and I need your help. Plz, now.

"Uh, oh my gosh I have to go. My mom is giving birth." I put on my jacket and we leave running to the car.

I sit in the living room waiting for my dad or the doctors to let me see my mom. We kinda had to bring the doctors to our house so my mom could deliver the baby properly.

"I can't believe I'm gonna have a little sister." I say gushing, Zach smiles. "Yah, I have one twelve year old sister and one four year old brother.

My dad appears at the bottom of the stairs and signals me up. Zach stays there with my dad.

"Hey mom," I whisper as I walk in. She sees me and smiles as she holds my new baby sister.

"What's her name?" "Karlie, wanna hold her," I find myself bobbing my head up and down.

My mom places her in my arms and I kiss her head.

"Wahhhh, ahhhh, yahhh, wahhh." I throw my covers over my head and slightly peek at the time.

3:28 a.m

Way to early, this is the downside of newborns. There a nightmare dressed like a daydream. Just like Taylor swift said, and I'm sure she'd agree.

I get out of bed and walk into the nursery. I pick up the baby and my nostrils grow from the stench.

Then I set her on the changing table slowly taking off her diaper. Then throw it away, I wipe her up and add baby powder.

"There you go, now get some rest." I leave the room with the door wide open and go back to bed.

(Alarm sound goes off)

I hit the off  button on my clock and grab the corner of my bedspread and push it off me.

I place both feet on the floor and walk to the bathroom and use it. A couple minutes later I find myself standing in front of my closet.

I look through all my clothes deciding which outfit best describes a sunny Saturday. One that would be good for a date to get soups and sandwiches.

Then I find this, I put it on and do bronze eyshadow, a cateye, mauve mattè lipstick, and bronzer.

I head downstairs and see my mom trying to feed my new sister breast milk on the couch.

She quickly throws a little cover to hide her breast, "hey hun." "Hi, how are you?" "Tired I've been up since 5:30." She says.

I look at the clock and it says 11:30. "Wow, huh, well I'm going to go out for some soups and sandwiches." I say.

"Okay, you look nice by the way." My mom compliments, I look down at my outfit once more.

"Thanks, it took me fifteen minutes to decide." I grab the keys and leave my mom to care for Karlie.

I start the engine driving to Zach's house, I pick him up and we drive to the restaurant.

We slide in a small booth and look at our menus. "I'm kinda gonna  start a diet so I have whatch the calories."

"Your too much, your beautiful no matter what." He says, I smile and look back at my menu.

Garden melt club 219 calories. Blt 413 calories.

Chicken sandwich 458 calories.

Pecan and black forest ham sandwich 221 calories.

Tuna melt 247 calories.

"Hello, may I take your orders?"
"We've only just arrived." I say agrivated, "Jem we've been here fifteen minutes." Zach says.

I check the time on my phone and realize we have. "Oh, sorry. Um I'll have the tuna melt with a glass of deit cola." I say.

"I'll have the blt with cola, and a side of fries." He hands over our menus and looks In my eyes.

"Hey what's on your mind?" He asks, "alot. My new sister, my parents, my diet, you and-." Just as I'm about to finish my sentence I see Bryan come in.

The last reason why so much has been on my mind. Without even realizing it I run up to him and hug him.

"Carmella!" Zach shouts, I disembrace myself from the comforting hug and clear my throat.

"Right, sorry I don't know why I did that." I sit back down and hold myself leaning closer towards Zach.

"It's just alot on my mind and I don't know what came over me." I say, then let out an exhale of air.

"Okay, let me push all this asside   so we can have us time." "What's been up latley?" I ask him.

"Well, my little sister started writing her own book on this app called "Wattpad." She is really proud of it." He says, "that's actually kinda cool." I say, then take a sip of my diet cola.

The fizz makes my nose burn a little. "Ahh, I hate when soda does that." I cringe. Zach laughs and so do I.

I blow my nose a little bit in my napkin and look back into Zach's eyes.

"Okay, what else, anything good in your life?" I ask him. "Well there is one thing in particular." "Oh yah and what's that?"

"You." He says, I snort and he smiles. "There are so many unlucky guys in the world. The reason is because they havn't met you." He says.

Right then and there I feel my heart melting and my face grow with warmth.

We receive our meals and start eating it. "This is an amazing tuna melt." I say, I eat more bites and take a large sip of my drink.

"After this do you wanna head to my house or go somewhere else?" I ask him.

"We can stop by the mall, I know you really want to." "Ugh, you know me so well." I say playfully, "I know, it's what I live for." He says laying back comfortably.

We eat the rest of our meal laughing for half of it. Then pay the bill and interlock our fingers as we walk back to the car.

We get in and he starts the engine, I decided I wouldn't mind if he drove my car. "Let's go." He says, then we drive to the mall.
