Carmella's P.O.V

Ryder and I pull up into a driveway of a house we purchased in L.A, we get out of the moving van and as we close the doors we see the other one pulling up as well.

"Okay, let's start furnishing this place, oh but I'm going to pay the movers. Be right back okay?" "Okay." I reply to him, he walks off taking his wallet out of his back pocket.

I linger for a moment and then he runs back over and we walk in the house. There are huge windows showing off a beautifull ocean veiw. Clean white and classy looks everywhere, two bathrooms and two bedrooms await us in the house as well.

Everything is perfect for us, and just what I hoped for.

"Wow, this place is great!" Ryder exclaims, "I totally agree, look at it all. I mean, wow it's perfect." "Okay, we have to start furnishing because I have to meet with the band in two days so, let's hurry on up." He says.

"Oh, okay." I say feeling taken aback, but we do so anyway.

Three days later...

The house has the same white clean beachy feel as the last house but better in a few more ways. I feel glad to be here, and I never wanna leave either.

It's obvious to tell that I'm so west coast as well. Because I always feel obligated to be by the ocean and in the warm sand. It makes me calm and happy, and I feel like I fit best in that particular area.

"Hey Carmella?" Ryder questions breaking me out of my thoughts. "Yes passion fruit?" "Do you possibly want to go to Jesse's house and hang out. It's me and my band and you at his place. But only if you want to come." He says, I can tell by his body language he wants me to go there with him.

"Okay, let's go." I say getting up, he smiles and we walk out to the car and he gets in and starts it up. I get in as well and buckle up before he pulls out of the drive way and starts driving as his GPS directs him.

"Do you know if anyone else may be there?" I ask him, "he said he may invite his band mates over or just Zach." He says, "oh okay. Sounds okay to me."

Everyone who was coming sits around Jesse's living room and talks about a few random things here and there. I get up and take Ryder's hand as we walk outside and sit on the lawn, "I just wanted to be alone with you for a bit if that is okay." I say to him.

"Yah, of course I don't mind. Anyway, is it even fun. We've been talking and drinking for like an hour and you seem uninterested in the whole event." "Yah, yah I'm good, what about you are you entertained?" "Hell yah I'm entertained."

"Actually can I go back and hang with them some more? I promise we'll get alot of time tonight." "Okay, okay go ahead." "Okay, thanks firefly!" He kisses my cheek and runs back in the large house and I'm left on the green lush lawn by myself.

My hair blows in the wind and I look at all the other houses standing in the area. Everything seems a little too perfect as of late and it's a feeling that hasn't acquainted me in some time.

Not saying that a part of me is looking for something bad to accure, I just feel calm and happy again. Like everything is where it should be.

Footsteps make a clicking noise behind me and I turn my head to see Larson. "Oh hey Lars!" I say chipper, "hey Carmella how are you? Why you alone?" He asks, "um I'm fine, and I just needed a little time to myself."

"Oh."

"So, what is going on in there now?" "Well we're all about to do some karaoke. That has to be fun, wanna join?" "Yah, sure sounds cool to me." He extends a hand to me and I take it as he helps me up.

We walk back in the house to see people preparing to sing. Ryder hands me a wine cooler and I take a sip, "okay who wants to go first?" Jesse asks, "um I'll go." I say, "okay Carmella, you against me then. Duet battle." "What?! You didn't notify me about that, and I know you'll win! You're amazing!" I shout.

"At what?" He asks wriggling his eyebrows, "hey, woah, not okay." Ryder says, "uh yah! Let's just push that asside. I'm going to kick your butt." I say, he laughs and picks a song.

"Hope you don't mind doing one of my songs, how about something partially easy. Um, wires. Let's go." He says, I shake me head and bring the microphone to my lips as a smile tugs at them.

The music starts up and then I start singing my part and sound a little scratchy. About a minute in I finally get my rhythm and feel a bit more confident.

After it ends Jesse looks to me and clears his throat. "Uh, sorry but I think I won that." "Yah, I don't think. I know you did." I say, he frowns but then laughs a bit. I plummet on the couch and down half of my wine cooler before setting back down.

"Okay, fine, who is going against eachother next?" Zach asks, yes Zach Ables.

"Um, I'll go against you." Jax says, they get up and Jax had and intense look in his eyes, Ryder kisses my cheeck and I smile at him. "How's your drink?" He asks, "good." I reply back simply.

I get up and walk over to the kitchen and throw away my glass bottle into a recycle bin and then look out a window. A barking noise comes from behind and I see a little hiper dog.

He runs after me and I jump on the counter, "ahhh!" I scream, before I know it Ryder, Jesse, and Larson come running in. "What the hell, are you okay?!" Ryder asks, "I was taken aback! I thought it'd chomp my arm off."

"Oh, what? Naw dawg, he's so tiny he won't hurt you." Jesse says picking it up, he sets a kiss on it and cuddles it.

I set my feet down and let out a sigh, "okay. Sorry." I say in a small voice, then I'm left alone with Ryder. "We can just go home if you'd like." He says, "really?" I ask, "yah sure."

"Okay, huh, thanks." I kiss him and we say our goodbye's before leaving and going back home.
